西關明記腸粉 Mingkee Newark
Good taste of the rice noodle roll, unbelievably just a young and good- looking boy makes it, that is awesome. The young waiter servers in patience and pro as well. Highly recommended this store.
Nice brunch after rain at Ming Kee. With Zha Liang 炸两, porridge, fish ball and braised chicken wing. Yummy! 🥂will definitely be back. Btw they have another outlet at Cupertino as well for those in San Jose instead of Fremont. Their food is not oily or salty at all.
Hu Din Ji Shanghai Bistro
(May 2024) We got the Shanghai pan fried pork bun (recommended by a friend), pickled cucumber, cooked duck soup with glass noodle & duck blood, and shanghai potsticker. Of course the Shanghai pan fried pork bun was really good. Everything was good except for cooked duck soup with glass noodle & duck blood because ended up not liking the soup's flavor or the blood. The cucumber was refreshing to the other salty dishes.
I had an amazing experience at this dim sum restaurant! The flavors were incredible—each piece of dim sum was a little morsel of joy that truly highlights the skill of the chefs. The stir-fried dishes were top-notch, with vibrant vegetables and perfectly cooked ingredients that brought everything to life. What really stood out was how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was; it felt really inviting and comfortable. If you’re craving some fantastic dim sum in a pleasant setting, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Bob Evans
It’s been a while since I’ve been to this Bob Evans. My friend and I ordered the chicken tenders but these were the worst tenders I have ever tasted. They weren’t cut in the correct direction, so biting into them felt grainy and chewy. On top of that, they looked NOTHING like they usually look and NOTHING like the advertisements. I couldn’t even finish. The costumer service was okay, the waiters didn’t seem like they had much experience, which is alright. Even with us all having empty glasses though, we didn’t receive one refill which was kinda disappointing because the glasses are rather small. I won’t be going back to this location again, I’ll try my luck with Middletown instead.
A month ago I ordered from here which is when I originally left the review again today gave it a try and was equally or more dissatisfied than before 11.00 for this and when I tried speaking to a manager I simply got there’s nothing I can do. I can have corporate send you a refund. Erghhh this words make my soul boil its not about the money but would you eat something that looks like this!?! It’s my lunch time and it’s now wasted! This is the last time I will be buying from this place
Cousin Cafe
Cousin Cafe showed up in my research while looking for a Hong Kong-style restaurant in Newark. I decided to try them out. I'm not disappointed! The food is what I expected and the service is better than most of the Chinese restaurants. The dining room is a little too crowded, but I can still enjoy the yummy food. I'm sure I will be back next time when I'm in the area.
A neighborhood HK style cafe. Service is great and the AC is strong. The beef brisket wide rice noodles is the best amongst 3 dishes that we ordered. The Hainanese chicken rice dish was very plain, rice lacks flavor. Same as the other vermicelli we ordered, not many ingredients and flavors but very generous with the vermicelli. Their ice HK milk tea on the other hand is pretty good.
Tasty Chinese Restaurant
1 star and I feel that is even being generous. Top WORST Chinese food I've had..... I ordered 3 things from doordash, came out to $66, fried wontons with cream cheese, pineapple fried rice, sweet & sour pork. - Fried wontons were chewy like couldn't eat chewy - Pineapple fried rice had no pineapple but shrimp (I think they gave me wrong one) smelled like rotten seafood. - Sweet & sour pork, chewy, minimal sauce and lacked flavor. Threw it ALL away. Didn't even get a fortune cookie either.... I should have saved myself $66 bucks and ate the crackers I had in my cabinet. (Pics look better than it was).
OMG the people and family thar run this place are so nice and accomadating. THE FOOD IS AWESOME Try the Eggplant Prawns and an order if Combination Fried rice. It's the best Chinese food I've had in a long time full of meat Seafood whatever you order is really hearty
New Ocean Restaurant
I recently went to the restaurant. I had pan fried chicken noodles and eggplant dish. The fried noodle dish was mouth watering! Crispy and full of flavors. I really enjoyed the flavors in the eggplant dish as well. Walking into the restaurant really surprised me by their cleanliness! The whole place was spotless!! Hygienic clean. Not a dust in sight. Even the counter space was organized and clean with sanitizer. This really impressed me. I really appreciated that the owner took time to prepare the meals. I had to wait some time as there was a large order before me but I noticed that she didn’t rush any orders even the small orders.
Great authentic Chinese food and amazing service! I've been searching for something like this for quite some time... Happy I found it!
P.F. Chang's
Had a great time the food was fantastic and the service was great it was a little crowded a lot of people lingering around the hostess area because it's not a very big place i strongly recommend making a reservation
I gave 4/5 stars because the food was GREAT, best Chinese food we have around here! Atmosphere was so fun and friendly! Service was a 4/5 because our server abandoned us once we got seated. HOWEVER, a very kind waiter noticed that we were waiting after this occurred and took over right away! He was so friendly and attentive to us and very patient while we went over the menus! I gave him a 20% tip because he deserved it! Happy opening to the Christiana DE location !
Lucky Bamboo Chinese Restaurant
Lucky Bamboo is one of our favorite places
I met my mother here for a little mother daughter date. I hadn’t been here in a long time because I moved away. The food is just as good as I remembered. The prices are so reasonable too. We both got sweet and sour chicken. Great lunch portions! It was more than enough food. I got egg drop soup but they have a really good hot and sour soup and wonton soup as well. Our waiter was fast and came back to refill drinks. The food came out very fresh and timely. I’m sure they are used to people having to get back to work. They have plenty of parking and seating for a couple or large parties. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
Ugly Dumpling
We have been anticipating the opening of this restaurant for several months, and our lunch today was worth the wait. We enjoyed their wonton soup, honey chicken, and the steamed pork buns. I am sure they will get even better, given they have not yet been open for two weeks. Thanks to their excellent customer service and attention to detail.
What an amazing experience! Top notch service, delicious food, and fantastic ambience. Would highly recommend for date nights.
Good Neighbor Restaurant
Wow! Such an amazing spot for family dinner. Cantonese Cafe style with good service. I will for sure visit again!
We came for dinner to check this place that we've heard good things about. The food quality and portions were very good. The service was efficient and the atmosphere was fine. We would certainly come back. Being at a stand alone building in a shopping certer, there was plenty of parking. The restaurant had plenty of tablrs for big and small groups. The service was efficient. I would consider this a homestyle restaurant, where besides ordering a la carte you can get 3 dishes (from a separate list) for a set price ($35.99 at this review) with soup (dine-in only). Additional dishes after the 3 are $11.99 each. For this set-up your choices are numerous including such choices as fried flounder, various claypot dises, stir fried vegetables, meat dishes, and noodle dishes. White rice is $2 per order. For 3 people we had the spicy green beans with ground pork, the seafood tofu claypot, and the taro root chicken claypot. The first that arrives after ordering is the soup. On this day, it is corn and egg flower soup. A nice and light soup to stimulate the appetite. The green beans came out next. Fresh from a very hot wok it had great flavor. It was hard to stop eating it once you start and it's especially good accompaniment with white rice. The claypots took a little bit longer, but worth the little bit of wait. Both had flavorful vegetables (cabbage, carrots, etc) on the bottom. The seafood one had big chunks of cod, shrimp, fish paste, and fried tofu. The taro chicken pot had big slices of chicken, taro, shitaki mushrooms. Both had deep flavor without being too salty. We had enough leftovers for another meal. The atmosphere is casual and clearly they do a good take out business and many diners are repeat customers.
Aishah's Chinese Halal
Ever since I have moved to the south ward of Newark in July, this is the only place I get Chinese food from. So clean. So tasty. I love this spot. Not too long of wait times even with a rush. Forgot to take a picture when I first got it because it’s that good.
I order the same thing every time and the last 2xs I’ve ordered my food has been old, my French fries have been so hard I can knock out a window! I even called to let them know about it and they still sent horrible ones! And the food took over an hour and 15mins and I live very close to the area. They are not like they used to be.
CS Brazilian Steakhouse
The food and service was top notch. Tried several protein options and the salad bar was well stocked. Servers were super attentive. Great wine list also. Only complaint is the atmosphere. I've seen others comment on this and it is an issue. The tables are way too close together even though they weren't utilizing over half of the tables not sure why they had to crowd us all in. The seating is similar to the seating at a Asian buffet. They could do so much more especially with the price of dinner. I would go back but I will wear super casual clothes and probably go with my buddies rather than a "date night" due to the informal atmosphere.
Very delicious! The bathroom is nice and clean, the salad bar is fresh, and there are many things you wouldn't expect to be at a salad bar, but it is very good! The steaks and different meats are delicious and tender. I highly recommend this place, but would recommend not eating before hand, and also not getting much from the salad bar, because they will keep coming, and you will feel guilty to say no only because those meats look so delicious!
