China Palace
Place has improved dramatically. Pleasant , clean ambiance. Really good service. Food very favorable with generous portions. Would have liked a couple more Thai options but oh well. Menu is heavy on sushi if you like that. I had chicken in garlic sauce and my girlfriend had chicken and broccoli. Both excellent. Give it another try, you won't be sorry.
BEST and ONLY Chinese place I will ever order from in this town. Food is AMAZING. Staff are friendly and nice, and it’s a clean place. One of the best Chinese places I’ve ever been to period.
9 Dragons
love asian buffets, this was was ok. main complaint was the food for the chicken section was cold and some of the meats (wings, meat on sticks uh not sure what they called dang) were rather hard/tough, but on my second round seems like they warmed it up. their vegetable options are great for our friend who only eats meat on certain days. lunch special as of this writing is 13.90 which is a phenomenal deal. interesting thing is they give you the check without prompting them, even though there's no specific time limit that i'm aware of, i suppose that's their notion to kick you out soon and they will peek at your receipts prior to you leaving lel. no ones rude or mean but i just found that part to be a bit odd.
Only $12.99 for lunch buffet everyday except Sunday. The food is fresh and tasty. Vegetables are beautiful. Peel em and eat em shrimp. All you can eat. Have eaten here dozens of times. I've never gotten sick. My entire family likes this place. As well as my friends.they also have sushi, fruit, salads, desserts. You'll really enjoy this restaurant.
Panda Express
This is my favorite Panda Express location. I frequent this place often and the food is always good, the rice is yummy, the place is clean and the staff is friendly. I do recommend this location and I highly recommend the walnut shrimp, it is so so good and also the cream cheese ragoons! Edit (06/29/24): I just added some more pictures. You see our plates?? Overflowing! This place is awesome with their portion sizes. I can’t rave enough about this place. It’s honestly the best Panda Express I’ve tried in New Jersey! Oh and Marvin was really nice to us! He was really amicable and welcoming. Great customer service. As a local, I recommend this place.
Lord, have mercy whatever you do DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! I ordered chicken and broccoli string beans with whatever meat that was cause I just wanted the string beans. They literally gave me two week old string beans. They were hard to chew Old and whatever the chicken was. It was mushy so freaking disgusting. I bought a bigger meal and a regular. My friend. Told me when he got home. The shrimp was dried out. Overcooked the rice was dry and hard. I Love, love, love, panda wok This one right here yeah they need to close it down and start over because who gives people food like this. The broccoli was old like it’s old and they’re just reheating it. Ps I put it in Katrina on plates because the cardboard box that they use it’s just not. I hate them. a total waste of $23. I seen some of the reviews and some of the pictures unfortunately, my food did not look like that. Their food look amazing like I’m used to getting think that they gave me is disrespectful.
Jade Palace
Food was really good! I got the sesame chicken and my partner got the general tsos tofu, both were delicious! Best part was we were able to use the reminding sauce and cook a new batch of chicken the next night! Great place to grab some decent takeout! Will be back again!
I would rate Zero Stars if I could, I ordered the Pepper Steak with Onions and Pork Fried Rice last night, The Pepper Steak was absolutely disgusting one bite and in the Garbage the meat was not meat it was all fat and the one bite I did eat was flavorless The Pork Fried Rice very bland and dry my fiance ate it she was not impressed with it but still ate it I want my money back or they need to make good of this
Shirin Cafe
One of our favorite restaurants in the area! It's such a welcoming place with delicious food. We've tried the Manti, Meat Kutabi, Uzbek Plov, and Pork Shashlik, and everything was fantastic. My personal recommendation is the Meat Kutabi—crispy with juicy meat inside, it reminds me of the Crimean dish Yantyk. Make sure to order manti in advance, as there is bit of a wait time for them (~ 30 minutes). They are making this dish from scratch and do not freeze it. The shashlik was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, while the plov was perfectly flavorful. The staff here are wonderful—friendly, attentive, and they provide excellent service.
Excellent Slavic food, owners and staff are very friendly, and the whole experience has been great every time we’ve visited. The ribeye kabob is proper šašlik, just like my father makes in our home country. We love their achichuk salad, potatoes, tšeburek, boršh, Uzbek bread — and of course kompot and fresh brewed coffee. Even the deserts are delightfully fresh and authentic. If you’re looking for Eastern European cuisine, this place is definitely worth visiting.
Double O Grill
Recently had dinner here with family and was impressed with the variety of items on the menu. The waiter we had was attentive , the restaurant was quite busy , but the noise level wasn't bad. Everyone seemed satisfied with their meals and of course the desserts, which are huge! Only issue I had was the steamed edamame. It seems they use pretzel salt on them. Way too much and crunchy. We couldn't eat them. Ill definitely re visit again.
We found this place last night! We came from Massachusetts to pick up some rims for our truck and wanted dinner , I found this place and I’m glad we did. The appetizers and French onion soup was amazing and we each got burgers. I got the Mac and cheese burger amazing and he got the mushroom and Swiss. We got 2 Oreo cheese cake slices to bring home, it was one of the best pieces I’ve had. Thank you for a great dinner !
Tasty Crab House
We had a really great dinner here! Our server Thomas was phenomenal!! One of the main reasons I’d come back would be for him!! He took very good care of us. The seafood is fresh and delicious. If cracking open crab legs seems like a hassle this place isn’t for you. I recommend getting the tasty special on your seafood boils, it’s a game changer. I will definitely be back!
🦀 Food Super delicious and rich seafood. I highly reccomend the combo dishes as you get so much food in the order. 3 seafoods, an egg, 2 potatos, and a corn (depending on which combo you get). You also get to choose what sauce you want and spice level. We chose combo #3 with a lobster tail, sausage, and shrimp (has shell on). Highly reccomend the oyster basket mainly because the meat was so silky. I usually get bad experiences with oysters since they are usually not fresh and stinky. However, here... amazing!! The dessert was ok, we ordered a tuxedo bombe, and the peanut butter explosion. The tuxedo bombe was light and airy and chocolate flavored. Though the peabut butter explosion was really rich, and a bit too sweet for us. But never be afraid to try a new food! You're provided with a bib, gloves, a wet wipe, and a big bucket for your shell waste. 👋 Service Great service, waitress was very attentive. They also speak Chinese there! :) Very friendly staff and even explained the menu to us first-timers. One of our desserts was on the house due to the fact that it was in celebration of my bday. They out a big sparkler on the dessert and played music, haha 😆 ✨️ Atmosphere A very funny environment. Led lights in the lobby and even in the bathroom. There was graffiti everywhere, which I found amusing. It's a casual place to celebrate an occasion or just have a full stomach and your soul fufilled!
Longobardi's Restaurant
Unfortunately, this restaurant is not super noticeable from the outside. However, thinking I could get pizza to go, I walked in. Inside, before the interior doors, I realized it was dine in only and was about to turn around and walk out, but someone came in behind me and I thought….why not and went inside. Took me a minute to be seated. It was a Tuesday and I entered around 6-6:30 pm. There were plenty of people already eating and more came and went the entire time I was there. The main dining area is quaint with good traditional Italian decor. I noticed they replace each table cloth when diners are finished (Ty!). Plenty of room inside as far as proximity to the next table. Carmello was my waiter and he was most professional, personable and attentive. The rest of the staff was quick to respond to any requests and take finished plates away from the table immediately (which I love). Fresh bread and butter was placed on the table shortly after I settled in. For appetizers I ordered Mozzarella with Roasted Peppers as well as Chopped Bake Clams. Those came out in about 10 minutes. Portions were apt and I finished both plates off like a champion food eater. Both absolutely delicious! For the entree I decided to get the Shrimp Scampi which came with a soup or salad (I chose salad) and a vegetable side (I chose spinach). I also finished the salad and the shrimp, but couldn’t get all the spinach down. Shrimp, cooked perfectly was juicy and robust. Melted in my mouth. It’s so refreshing to finally find a restaurant that knows how to do everything right!!! When I sat down I was a little price oriented (and the menu might be considered pricey) but as I started eating the food that was cooked to absolute perfection, I began not caring at all how much it was all going to be! Excellent chefs and flavorful dishes will have me coming back for more! This was my first time, but the restaurant as I found out has been there for a very long time. They boast a great Happy Hour at the bar inside as well as a good size party room to accommodate plenty at one time. I’m not easily impressed…but I was overly impressed by this beautiful place that is my new favorite Traditional Italian Restaurant, with traditional Italian dishes!
I came in tonight for dinner. Sat at the bar and was completely ignored and wasn’t asked if I wanted a drink or a menu or anything. Bar tender came in poured a beer for the guy next to me and just walked past. Absolutely no excuse for that type of non service. I left and not coming back to them. It’s not the first time either.
yayoi sushi & Asian Bistro
The sushi is fresh, beautifully crafted, and absolutely delicious, rivaling high-end sushi bars. Their variety of dishes—from tempura to hibachi—is amazing, with everything served hot and flavorful. The staff is attentive, the atmosphere is inviting, and the price is unbeatable for the quality. If you love sushi and Asian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to go back!
The food was very good. The portions of sushi was great. You can also order just sashimi which is unique. It is different from the other buffets in that you order and the waitress/waiter delivers it to you. The one thing to improve would be to add photos to the menu. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I think we go some items mixed up (wrong item). The service was great and fast.
Mizu Sushi & Asian Fusion
Been here a few times and food is always so on point. The special rolls, sushi pizza are all incredible. Given that it’s BYOB, makes it even better. If u r craving for good sushi, this is the spot to go. Get a bottle of mezcal as it pairs perfectly with some top notch sushi/sashimi.
Must try sushi and lobster soup!! I started visiting the area a little over a month ago coming to see my amazing girlfriend. We wanted to find some great local sushi for takeout but we didn’t know what exactly to try. She said this place was great eating inside but never had takeout so we should give it a try. The entire process was quick and easy. I put it in the order online. I didn’t have to pay before hand so that made the process even quicker. They said the food would be ready within 35 minutes and they were right. It was available for pickup right at the 35 minute mark. It was a quick process of them printing out the ticket, while I signed the double checked my order then I left. The sushi was absolutely amazing! I had gotten some appetizers as well, the lobster soup and coconut shrimp. Both were great. Especially the lobster soup. I’ll probably start getting 2 servings from now on. If you’re looking for some great sushi, whether it’s to-go or eating inside, I can’t recommend this place enough!
King's Chinese
Have dined in before, but ordered a large takeout order today for NYE. Everything was delicious (as always) and the portions are extremely generous. Their dining room was packed as early as 4pm, they had tons of takeout orders, and they still made an effort to see that I was helped right away. Excellent service! You won't find better Chinese food around, an absolute gem in Freehold and a must try spot.
I recently tried King's Chinese Restaurant in Freehold, and overall, it was a good experience. We ordered take-out, and the restaurant was packed with people picking up their orders. Despite the crowds, the food was ready to go and lined up for take-out. We ordered several dishes, and I was impressed with the amount of food we got. The portions were generous, and it felt like we got a lot of value for our money. The Egg Foo Young was good, but could have used a bit more salt to enhance the flavor. The Five Flavored Shrimp was a little too spicy for our liking, even though we had requested it to be less spicy. The Egg Roll was a standout - it was big and juicy, and we could tell that it was made with care. The Hot and Sour Soup was delicious and spicy, just the way we like it. Lastly, the Singapore Chow Mei Fun was good. Overall, I would give King's Chinese Restaurant 4 1/2 stars out of 5. The only reason being that the Five Flavored Shrimp was much spicier than we had anticipated, even though we had requested less spicy. But, again, this is a personal preference. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for Chinese food in Freehold.
P.F. Chang's
Good location to enjoy dinner with family and friends. Service was good but orders came in little slower despite not many occupied tables. Everything we ordered was good but orange chicken surprisingly came without any sauce on chicken. It seemed more like chicken nuggets or popcorn chicken with slices of Orange. Overall was a good experience though.
Would rate it 6/5! We got seated almost right away, the host was so sweet didn’t get his name, he wore glasses, our waiter Maddie was great quick and very polite. Appetizers were amazing and the food couldn’t be better. Will definitely come back and recommend!
