Wok Fushion Kitchen
Extremely satisfying fried rice. Even better than most restaurants in Chinatown. I had the soft shelled crab with black pepper sauce. The menu only had it with white rice and a fried egg so I was pleasantly surprised to get a fried rice with the dish. Turns out the fried rice was he star. It wasn't oily, mushy, or salty. Just well flavored with small chopped veggies and when the black pepper sauce was poured into it, tasted delicious. The soft shell crab had a very light batter, the way I like it. Tender and crispy. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.
this place is great!! hidden gem in dekalb market - the Singaporean signature fried rice is a must try. Bar seats are also nice, friendly staff, prices are cheaper than most areas at the market.
Roseli 瑰麗 Chinese Restaurant
Hidden gem. Roseli is high quality Cantonese, as good as any in Flushing or Chinatown or Sunset Park. The food is spectacular. Their pork dishes, fish dishes, veggies, tofu, and noodle dishes were all amazing. Perfect amount of flavor, without being heavy or greasy. The crispy noodles were executed with precision. The fried fish was so tender and crazy. The saucy pork chops explodes with savory flavor. The service is top notch. Billy is attentive and cares so much about the food and experience. We feel blessed to find places like this in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back for dim sum and watch a game at the bar!
Ordered the General TSOs Chicken with Egg Drop Soup and Spring Rolls. I absolutely loved it. Great meal, atmosphere was quite likely because I was eating closer to late afternoon versus dinner. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Annie's First Wok
Fast, cheap and delicious Chinese food! CASH ONLY!!! They do have an atm. Got the lunch special: chicken chow mein for $10.
Food was ok price as well for this area but the place is bit dirty and wired people around.
Panda Express
Title: Quick, Clean, and Delicious! Review: I had lunch here yesterday and loved it! The Broccoli with Chow Mein and Orange Chicken hit the spot, and the soft drink was refreshing. Despite being very busy, the place was clean, and the service was impressively fast. It's an excellent spot for a tasty, hassle-free meal!
I was literally the only customer there, got there before they opened, waited, usually the line is to the door. The soda was not tasting good, but the cashier was phenomenal and helped me. My food was fresh and taste great. I'm just glad the workers were nice, it's hard to find nowadays.
Silky Kitchen
Amazing food! You can choose how spicy you want it to be. I chose “spicy” not “extra spicy” and it was making me sweat 🥵. I got the stir fried chicken with chili paste and soup noodles. Well lit, good background music, chill employees. The only thing that I wish was different is that the door lets in cold drafts from outside whenever it’s opened. Maybe they can put up a curtain or something.
The pork and pepper soupy noodles and the chairman braised pork noodles were worth the price! The pork was well flavoured and the soup was seasoned well. The noodles were perfectly good. Once you receive the order which is very quick, I recommend that you let it sit for a couple of minutes and then start eating.
Bites of Xi'an BK 西府小吃
I got the Diao Diao noodles and was happy with the taste. The portion was generous and very reasonably priced. I'm not sure if it's customizable, but if it is, I'd prefer to exclude tomatoes next time.
The food served wasn't anything like the picture on the menu. The noodles with stir fried tomato and eggs didn't use the same type of noodles as the picture on the menu, instead, it was boiled udon-like noodles and it wasn't even strained. In the picture it had lots of eggs and bean sprouts but it actually had a very little amount of eggs and no bean sprouts. It was an overall tasteless dish. (The picture is to show the type of noodles used)
100% Mr. Lin
I absolutely adore the pork dumplings here! 🥰✿ It’s a cozy little spot right in front of Trader Joe’s, where you’ll find the sweetest ladies—both young and old—taking your orders. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy more delicious dumplings!
I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and tasty lunch for good value. I got the soy sauce chicken rice bowl, which was simple but very well-prepared — juicy, succulent and flavorful chicken, very fresh vegetables, and half a boiled egg over a bed of white rice, that’s complemented well by the scallion condiment they provide on the side. It also comes with a small dessert bun (either red bean or egg custard) which was the perfect way to round out the meal. And it was a decent price considering all the food and the quality of the meal!

Xi'an Famous Foods 西安名吃 | Downtown Brooklyn
Still one of my favorites years later. The N4 stewed pork noodle and chewy with tender pork and a great chili crisp. The pork burger is delicious, and the spicy and sour pork dumplings are just so nice and tart. It wouldn't be a XFF if there weren't lots of noticed and rules taped up to the walls and windows. One of my top foods in NYC. Bring one to LA!
I ordered the Spicy & Tingly Beef Muscle Hand-Ripped Noodles. It was very flavorful with the right amount of numbing spice and a generous amount of veggies (cabbage and celery). Also, the meat was very tender. I’ve had this in many other locations and I have to say, this is the best one yet. 10/10
Xifu Food
Good food and portions at excellent prices. We really liked the meat sauce noodles and pork rougamo. We ate inside, and after a few minutes, we started to understand why this is a takeout spot.
Total hole in the wall but the food was top notch! Lots of carryout while I was dining in. Chicken and cabbage dumplings in sweet and spicy sauce was absolutely amazing!! And the food is so cheap, def not something I'd expect in Brooklyn!
Han Dynasty Brooklyn
Our server was called Jose & he was so sweet. I want to take him home. I loved him. All the servers were excellent. Very attentive & were always close at hand if you needed anything. We were seated in a lovely little booth & given water & a lot of green tea. The menu was explained to us as they use different number to show you how hot the dishes are. Higher numbers = higher heat etc. Our order was taken and the food arrived swiftly. The food was good. Obviously, not the best quality but adequate for the price paid. We were very happy with the meal. Thanks guys I’ll add the pics of the meal later as it on another phone
I went here with my wife as a brief detour from our Trader Joe's trip and was pleasantly surprised. The place seemed completely packed and somehow we were seated and eating within 20 minutes of arriving, not sure what witchcraft made that possible. The food and atmosphere was great my only complaint being their spice levels being really off. I am a spice lover and my wife , not so much . I ordered a spice level 10 dish that although delicious did nothing for me and even my wife agreed it wasn't really spicy. Don't be afraid of those numbers everything seems a bit more mild here than expected.
Nan Xiang Express - Downtown Brooklyn, NY
It’s not exactly the Nan Xiang I remember but maybe it’s close enough when you have the craving and you’re definitely not heading to Queens. We tried it when in the area for a friend’s dance show. They are as their “about us” poster says: a fast casual version of Nan Xiang in an environment that reminds me of modern Wendy’s. We ordered a few containers of the standard soup dumpling, one of crab, one of spicy beef, and a beef scallion pancake. Immediate note: the skin of the dumpling is thicker than we’re used to at the OG NX. This seems to make sense at least if they’re delivering and if they’re just reheating the product, so that they won’t easily leak. About the spicy beef soup dumpling: it’s the first time we had it. First impression is it’s different from the pork. Specifically it’s more dense and is almost like a spicy beef soup made into a soup dumpling. All in all food came quickly. We also asked separately for ginger which they had. Good enough for a cold day!
The soup dumplings we ordered were very delicious. The service was fast and the place was clean, but the air temperature inside was no different from the outside, I literally felt cold while eating.
