Lucky Chan Kitchen
I ordered the orange chicken and I got a huge portion for only 9.50. Half of the takeout container was filled with orange chicken and the other half was filled with rice. The sauce was good and the chicken was crispy and fresh.
Honestly I never would have thought I would find a Chinese restaurant that still makes food like back in the days. Chicken wings are on point ! When you say put barbecue, hot sauce, and ketchup they are not stingy about it. The food actually taste like Chinese restaurant food. Idk if that make sense. I tried other restaurants around and it just doesn’t taste quite there.
Lichee Nut(荔园)
This restaurant was another one of my very on version of taste of chinese cuisine in Brooklyn while on a visit this past week. First of all, I don’t think that my server understood me. I decided on the lunch menu because I didn’t want to purchase something and get disappointed. I decided on the shrimp and broccoli but I wanted fried rice with it. I loved the shrimp and broccoli but when I tried the rice, I was like what is this to myself. I thought to myself maybe I’m missing something, so I tried it again, I said to myself no, this is something I can not eat. I did pick around the rice and eat the shrimp and broccoli which was very tasty. Everyone has an opinion and different tastes buds and I get that. Maybe someone else may love it.
Really good and authentic Chinese food. Their General Tso chicken was one the best I ever had. Decent price and good quality. Near by Brooklyn bridge and Dumbo. Cards accepted. Will come back once.
DunHuang Miss Noodles
Pleasant Chinese restaurant across from Pratt. Nothing fancy, casual dining. We had a nice waitress. The guy who brought food out seemed unhappy, almost slamming our dishes on the table. The sichuan fish in broth was flavorful and nicely done. My cold noodles with chicken were a little too dry but not bad. Dumplings in red oil, pretty tasty. Eggplant appetizer, decent flavor but seemed like it was left in the microwave too long (?), basically almost disintegrating when picked up. Definitely seemed precooked.
The fresh noodles here are quality and delicious. The portions are conservative..,.could've eaten a bit more than they served, but so good. Also the place is really clean and service is excellent. I ordered the vege stir fry and added shrimp. We also shared a mapo tofu. The vege stir fry was perfect. The mapo tofu was nice, lots of szechuan pepper that make your mouth numb and spicy. I didn't like the soft tofu but the sauce was decent. Great dinner/ date spot.
New Ruan's Restaurant
This is a nice restaurant. Management and staff know their customers well and care, often by name. This is a restaurant geared towards the American pallet, although I have no doubt they'd have the skills to produce something more authentic. Much nicer and a bit pricier than the usual takeout type of place, but we'll worth it to us. They've expertly configured the menu so that the food comes out quickly, with generous portions and is hot and tasty.
Delicious food both in the restaurant and takeout! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Continue to come here pretty regularly for a couple of years now and the staff are friendly and efficient and even remember our vegetarian order!
China City
The orange chicken taste amazing as well as their homemade ice tea, very kind lady who took my order, overall i rate it a 5 star
They sent the wrong order. Ok, mistakes happen. I called and after speaking to several people, they sent the right order. I had ordered Kung Pao shrimp and an egg roll. It had 4 shrimp in it, cubed carrots, pieces of baby corn, big chunks of green peppers, and tons of chunks of hard green stuff. I have no idea what it was. I called and spoke to several people who said they were the manager. I was told the green stuff was chinese cabbage. This was NOT chinese cabbage. I asked what should be in their Kung Pao shrimp. What they said was in it was not what I received. Then the guy said I was given the wrong info about the chinese cabbage. Now he tells me the hard green stuff is broccoli! That is not any broccoli that I have ever seen. The guy insisted the chef made it the right way. I told him to come pick up the food and he could see for himself what I received. The entire dish went in the garbage. The menu on the website is very old too. The prices are higher now and they charged me $1 for delivery. Very bad customer service. I won't be ordering from this place again.
Golden Palace Kitchen
This is the worst food service 😡!..I ordered spicy wings with white rice the chines lady said she had but didn’t mention bbq neither did I. She put barbecue sauce instead of spicy after I reclaim my order and that women said I wasn’t specific about spicy wings, when I never said bbq then I go back she gives me 3 wings instead of 5 as they come also half rice. Never go here I prefer av u.
They tell us on phone it's ten dollar minimum and we have ordered there for years and never paid a minimum charge also it's not on menu either we looked. And on top of that they add another dollar for delivery and then we have to give tip. We now call another takeout place

One of the best Chinese spots overall, definitely best locally. Tried some different dishes, they all good and fresh! I come often, and portions are great. I would suggest calling them 15min before coming, here’s the menu ⬇️⬇️
Tbh I didn’t expect that the food was this good. I started to buy here like 1-2 months ago because I’m new in the neighborhood, and god, is my favorite place now! The price are low and the food is always fresh and good! I don’t know if the portion can full most of the people, but for sure it full me. Like most of the people I never write a review on the places that I go, but this one deserved one. I sincerely need to try more of the menu‼️
A Mix 47
Shrimp with broccoli was ready in 5 minutes. They were generous with the shrimp, it had more shrimp than most places I’ve ever been as well as one of the tastiest shrimp with broccoli I’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly and sweet. If I lived in the area I would be ordering breakfast, lunch, and dinner from them everyday
Their food is fresh and tasty. I also like how affordable everything is! The gyoza is great and their lunch special is definitely worth it!
Yunnan Rice Noodle House
I usually get the original since I don't like tomatoes and can't eat spicy. However, I tried the tomato and to my surprise, it was WAY better than the original. Perfect lunch and you'll feel very full. Service was amazing they knew that my mom and aunt wanted tea and the younger ppl wanted iced water. Very smart waiters lol. Food was decently quick to come out and the atmosphere was amazing. The place has high ceilings and nice artwork on the walls making the place look very expensive but the food was very affordable and delicious.
Affordable noodle soup restaurant that is open all night long! Was craving noodle soup in the midst of Heat wave and saw that YunShang was open until 6 AM! Their shaved potatoes and cucumbers were good appetizers to have with the noodle soups
Ting Fai Cuisine
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. I ordered the wonton noodle soup. The soup was salty and the wontons were cold. The scallion pancakes were average and oily. The chicken with black bean sauce was over a bed of white rice. The dish was also very salty and lacked flavor. Hardly any sauce and the chicken consisted of various small pieces.
Ting Gain is a casual appearing restaurant that serves flavorful Cantonese food. The Young Chow Fried rice is delicious and the eggs are whipped deliciously. The Chicken steaks and Pork chops are pan fried with a nice crisp taste.
Grand Sichuan House
The portion of the food is huge and the taste is above average based on NYC standard. Didnt experience the poor service that was mentioned in other reviews. Good experience overall!
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. The food was overall average in taste. I ordered the hot and sour soup. The soup was bland with not much flavor. The soup was a quart size and received a half bag of noodles. The steamed dumplings are typical of most takeout. The spring rolls were very small. The chicken dishes were limited in taste. The white rice was good.
Number One Kitchen
Sesame chicken was great loved it. Was disappointed in the lo mein tasted old like leftovers. Chicken dumplings were good.
Food is very good and fast, but one of the lady’s kind of stingy with duck and soy sauce
