New Nice China Town

I buy from here often, and bought this Spare Rib Tips with P.Fried Rice, as they were preparing to close. No customers in the store except me and 1 woman. I bought this same meal recently, and it has not looked like this. Taste was well-done, but the texture was looking burned. Wondering if they are losing their Talents in Culinary services..

We live a block from this place and my girlfriend (who rarely eats out of gets takeout or delivery) usually wants Chinese when we do get takeout so we go to this place. She always gets Chicken and Broccoli and/or Lo Mein. I jump around a bit and have had Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, and Home Style Bean Curd (pictured). Some of the dishes are excellent--especially weirdly the Chicken and Broccoli (for such a middle-of-the-road staple menu item). Everything is light and not too greasy/corn starchy which I think is the best part. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because some of the dishes are fine but not amazing (particularly the Lo Mein and Bean Curd). Still, highly recommended!

Dynasty Chinese Restaurant - Brooklyn

I eat here all the time and usually everything is great. Today the food had no flavor. The shrimp fried rice tasted as though it was washed of every flavor and so soft. The cooks must be new and need better training on Dynasty's standard. So disappointed.

Dumplings (steamed) are my go to choice as it is made in the style I am accustomed. Traditional Chinese style of thin wrappers filled with ground pork, to dip in a spicy vinegar soy sauce mixture to dip in. Cannot tell if it’s handmade. Irregardless, it doesn’t matter as it pleases my palate. Other items on the menu are fine, and quite acceptable for a quick meal. Ingredients are fresh and cooked with care. The sauces are light enough to enjoy natural flavors, though it feels like they use a diluted version of usual hood Chinese sauces that have a sweet and tangy flavor and a generous amount of cornstarch in thickened sauces. Besides dumplings, I would likely order chicken and cashew next as it reminds me of kung pao chicken the way I am accustomed to. I hope they include more traditional Chinese food items over time to stand out even more from nearby Chinese takeout spots. Delivery service is more than satisfactory, as it arrives quickly. I have not yet ordered at a peak time, however, whenever I have made an order they are efficient and food is spanking hot, so that’s how you know it’s coming from right off the stove. It’s nice that they include fortune cookies.

CHF Chinese Restaurant

107reviews

I stumbled across CHF at lunchtime. Great $7.95 lunch specials. The bean curd with mushrooms was fresh and delicious. Friendly service and restaurant is very clean.

Given the reviews of CHF, we were expecting to enjoy the meal, and the food was disappointing at best. Sesame chicken was crispy fried ...nothing. There was nearly no chicken in the dish, and the sauce tasted like ketchup, which isn't our favorite style. The chicken egg foo young was flavorless and dry, we couldn't find any chicken in it, and the sauce was congealed, oily, and not good. The ma po tofu was just a little spicy, oddly soupy, not a trace of Szechuan peppercorn, and I didn't find any pork in it. Definitely not ma po tofu by anyone's definition (but at least it had tofu in it). We took out a lot of food for a reasonable price, served by a pleasant person, and threw almost all of it away after eating just a bit.

Food is decent. The wings are the best to me personally. The steam vegs are good as well. They don’t play with their money. If you are short even $.05 NO FOOD FOR YOU!!!! Other than the money part I don’t see any problem with them. Also if you park in McDonald’s parking lot keep on eye on tow trucks. I suggest ordering on the phone park real quick then go pick the food up and then GET OUT OF THERE!

I'm disappointed to share my recent experience with this restaurant. After placing a phone order and confirming a $5 total multiple times, the delivery driver insisted on a $9 payment upon arrival. Despite explaining the discrepancy to both the driver and the restaurant, I was met with resistance. In the end, I paid the initially agreed-upon $5 plus tip, only to have the driver act aggressively, kicking my window. This incident, coupled with sudden price changes, left me appalled, especially considering the presence of children. Regrettably, I won't be patronizing this establishment again.

Han Dynasty Brooklyn

Our server was called Jose & he was so sweet. I want to take him home. I loved him. All the servers were excellent. Very attentive & were always close at hand if you needed anything. We were seated in a lovely little booth & given water & a lot of green tea. The menu was explained to us as they use different number to show you how hot the dishes are. Higher numbers = higher heat etc. Our order was taken and the food arrived swiftly. The food was good. Obviously, not the best quality but adequate for the price paid. We were very happy with the meal. Thanks guys I’ll add the pics of the meal later as it on another phone

I went here with my wife as a brief detour from our Trader Joe's trip and was pleasantly surprised. The place seemed completely packed and somehow we were seated and eating within 20 minutes of arriving, not sure what witchcraft made that possible. The food and atmosphere was great my only complaint being their spice levels being really off. I am a spice lover and my wife , not so much . I ordered a spice level 10 dish that although delicious did nothing for me and even my wife agreed it wasn't really spicy. Don't be afraid of those numbers everything seems a bit more mild here than expected.

Wei’s - Williamsburg

487reviews

Food was decent. I enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Service was attentive. I definitely liked the ambiance, which I think made the experience even better. That being said, it’s a good place if you are in the area already.

First time ordering from here and I expected more. Just like the other reviews that ordered takeout, my order was extremely subpar! Not only is it overpriced but it lacks flavor, and care for a to-go order. I got the sesame chicken because it was labeled as popular on Uber eats…idk how but my food was DRY, no sauce that the chicken was cooked in and there was one lovely cute broccoli on top..ONE. I even asked for extra sauce from cooking to be added in when packaging up the chicken; still received dry food. I was better off going to one of the regular local Chinese spots up the block where the food is made with care and it’s substantial for HALF the price I paid at Wei’s. And they at least add a regular amount of broccoli because that’s standard. Seems like they need to treat their take out orders with the same love and care they use for guests that dine in; those dine-in meal pics actually look appetizing. The pictures are literally night and day!

Chino Grande

Got the chips, char siu pork, cucumber coconut noodles, and chicken. I thought the char siu pork was very nice and flavorful. Chips was good but a little bit expensive if you get the dipping sauces. The noodles had a very strange taste combo that I’m not a huge fan of. Chicken was good but very filling. Not a fan of the dessert sandwich though. Service was very nice and friendly

Came here for dinner with 2 friends. We made a reservation near their opening time so it wasn’t crowded but it did get crowded by the time we finished later in the evening. Drinks and food were good. I like their chips and 3 sauce dips. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. For the price of the dishes, the portions are small.

Taste of China

If you order face-to-face, you will feel bad about the bad attitude of the women. She is very hostile and not suited to customer service. I am fed up with her customer service. The taste is not bad. It is better to order online and pick it up.

Very delicious food the delivery was extremely fast. We really enjoyed it

Nan Xiang Express - Downtown Brooklyn, NY

557reviews

It’s not exactly the Nan Xiang I remember but maybe it’s close enough when you have the craving and you’re definitely not heading to Queens. We tried it when in the area for a friend’s dance show. They are as their “about us” poster says: a fast casual version of Nan Xiang in an environment that reminds me of modern Wendy’s. We ordered a few containers of the standard soup dumpling, one of crab, one of spicy beef, and a beef scallion pancake. Immediate note: the skin of the dumpling is thicker than we’re used to at the OG NX. This seems to make sense at least if they’re delivering and if they’re just reheating the product, so that they won’t easily leak. About the spicy beef soup dumpling: it’s the first time we had it. First impression is it’s different from the pork. Specifically it’s more dense and is almost like a spicy beef soup made into a soup dumpling. All in all food came quickly. We also asked separately for ginger which they had. Good enough for a cold day!

The soup dumplings we ordered were very delicious. The service was fast and the place was clean, but the air temperature inside was no different from the outside, I literally felt cold while eating.

China Tang Kitchen

A quick take out spot with a large variety of options and super quick service. The staff is friendly and the prices are hard to beat. There are more expensive Chinese places around that aren't as good, so just come here instead. It is only take out, just a small inside area to wait.

Impeccable presentation and attention to detail. The sweet and sour pork had a delightful balance of sweet and tangy, making every bite enjoyable

Twin Lin's Garden

Food has always been phenomenal. Just wish they use less oil

Please don’t call this place after 9:30pm they will pick up your and write down your order but they will never deliver it. Also i called to place another order for pickup the guy said come now .when I went to the place it was closed already. They shouldn’t be taking orders if they aren’t going to be open.

Lucky Eight

We had a fantastic lunch at this Cantonese restaurant! The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome right away. The food, especially the roasted duck and honey roasted pork, was a hit with the whole family – flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. Even my kids couldn’t get enough of it! The prices were reasonable, adding to the overall great value. It’s a cozy spot with an inviting atmosphere and a menu that impresses. We'll definitely be back for more of their delicious offerings!

It’s been a while since we were here and a lot has changed. They closed down their huge basement dining area and the food could use a pick me up. Service is great thou. We had a good time since we pretty much the only customer booked for the whole dining room for a birthday. They are very accommodating and service is good enough. Food is good but I remember they used to be better. Sizzling beef should be sizzling but it barely any smoke. Rest of the food is up par but just not really good. The positive part is the fact the place is quieter and spacious than rest of the other places. We get to have a quiet and decent family dinner.
