Milford Diner
This place is a hidden gem that's I'm so happy I stumbled upon. The food here was awesome and fresh and so tasteful. The award winning crab cakes and mac & cheese was amazing. Wish I was closer to stop by more frequently. I would definitely recommend.
Great diner! Really solid pancakes and omelettes. Coffee is pretty standard diner coffee. We ordered the homemade apple turnover and it was enormous!!! The pastry was super flaky, it was a nice treat
China Garden Restaurant
This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant. The service and prices are top notch. My favorite dish is the Kung Pao Chicken and the lo mein noodles have tons of flavor. The wings are decent the fried shrimp w/French fries are excellent the mu shu chicken and egg rolls could be better but overall I love this Chinese restaurant.
The food was delicious and prepared in a timely fashion. I ordered two large main dishes and two large orders of white rice and everything was prepared in 15 min, prepared to taste and tasted good. Also, THEIR CRAB RANGOON IS AMAZING. The staff was courteous and communicated well.
Happy Ming
“Absolutely fantastic takeout! The food was fresh, flavorful, and arrived piping hot. The portions were generous, and every dish—from the crispy spring rolls to the perfectly seasoned fried rice—was spot on. Fast service and great attention to detail in packaging. Highly recommend!”
Happy Ming is really my happy place when I crave Chinese food! 😀 They give excellent service and pay attention to the note you put in while placing the order online. The quantity and quality of the food is amazing! If you are in the area and looking for a place to eat Chinese food, definitely go to Happy Ming. The inside is also nice to dine in.
Cheng's Chinese Restaurant
I felt compelled to leave a review after having their pork fried rice, possibly the best I've ever had. It is full of that delicious smokey wok hei flavor that we all love in Chinese take out. The amount of pork in my rice really caught my eye too, there is a lot in there. I would absolutely get food from here again
I've ordered delivery I was satisfied your food will come pretty quick about 30 min even on a Saturday night and being in Bloomfield it's probably the best choice for me from all the places ive had this is my to pick the food is great if your looking to go eat in I wouldn't suggest it or you might be standing up with your food no where to eat at other than that it's enjoyable little pricey but worth it !
Chinatown Diner
Chinatown Diner has the highest quality and most delicious Chinese food in the Newark area at an unbeatable price. Located inside the YMCA building in Newark, Chinatown Diner is my favorite go-to spot for Chinese food. The General Tso Chicken is perfectly juicy and tasty. Alternatively, if you’re feeling adventurous and want some real spice, I would also recommend the Pepper Chicken. Thank you Chinatown Diner for always serving the freshest and tastiest Chinese food in Newark to fulfill my appetite.
Here is some delicious trays I have eaten and it was fabulous or should I say fantastic, it very fresh and tasty and it better than any other restaurants so go try it
New kwai lam kitchen.
I love they chicken wings chopped up with barbecue the best wings ever
The food is always hot and delicious 😋 All of these places look the same, so I don't have a comment about the atmosphere 🙃
The Naked Bagel
A family member is doing a low carb/keto diet. So they made her a lettuce wrap/burrito with bagel fillings. Cream cheese, lox, tomato, capers
I'm with the Forest Service and visiting Milford to attend training at Grey Towers. I hope other USFS employees see this review and decide to check out the Naked Bagel Company. I initially stopped in for breakfast, and I enjoyed that meal so much that I returned for lunch on the same day. If you're like me and know what it means to enjoy a really good bagel but can't find them wherever you live, this is the place for you. It has a great vibe, there were a lot of locals who came into the shop while I was there, and the food was absolutely delicious! The *only downside is the limited indoor seating, but don't let that deter you. You can get your food to go and enjoy it wherever you want.
Hunan Royal
I took a chance and ordered delivery for lunch and was really impressed! The food arrived quickly, which was brought to me by a sweet, older gentleman. Everything was delicious, hot, fresh, and generous in portion. I have tried many Chinese take-out places in the area and found them to be generally mediocre and overpriced (the prices here are better without sacrificing quality). Definitely my new go-to restaurant when I am craving Chinese.
I LOVE HUNAN ROYAL. I've only had 4 dishes: Chicken wings & pork fried rice or french fries and Boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice or french fries. THE DELIVERY GUY IS SOO SWEET and always has a smile. The food is also very affordable. I 100% recommend.
China Express
Finally discovered a 5 star take out! Every dish we have ordered is full of flavor! Every dish is freshly made, you don't have that full and exhausted feeling after eating. Service is impeccable! Fast delivery! So glad a friend recommended this place!
Was looking for chinese food in freehold and got to order and takeout from the China Express The food is quite delicious and service was fast Definitely a must for takeout !!
Baan Khun Restaurant
Great Thai restaurant, delicious food, kind service, some of the best Pad Thai! The price seems fair for a restaurant in redbank. Good location, right in the heart of downtown redbank. Outdoor dining is a nice touch especially during the pandemic. I highly recommend!
Had lunch with family, salmon entree was no good at first bite, we can tell right away that the salmon was spoiled and tastes very fishy. Ended up ordering vegetable fried rice to be on the safe side. The manager or owner or whoever he was with the negative energy didn’t even bother to show his concern. He wasn’t friendly at all, more of a matter of fact attitude. The only good thing was our Thai Ice Tea. We also ordered chicken fried rice which was a safe dish for the kids. The managers negative energy made the atmosphere not so friendly. His customer service was trash!!! But don’t worry about it because that was a one and done visit. I promise you I’ve eaten at great Thai restaurants and the prices matched the great food and service. Noooooope not this one so yeah I’m putting them on BLAST. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
Yumi Sushi Red Bank
Good quality and great taste! We dinned upstairs tonight. The O-Toro and O-Toro with caviar were delicious. We started with the Sashimi appetizer and it was so fresh. The sauces they provide were good. I suggest you order fresh ginger and fresh wasabi with any sushi. We had the spicy O-Toro roll, Sea Bright Roll, and mushroom salad. There isn’t a kids menu. We enjoyed and would return. I would recommend this place.
Everything about this spot is solid. Fish was all fresh, portions were generous. Great selection of options at reasonable prices. Love that it's BYO. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The upstairs room is unfussy, I appreciate that they didn't overcrowd the room with tables. Overall a solid value oriented sushi experience, I'll definitely be back.
Panera Bread
I was inspired to try the Chicken Avocado Melt from an email I received that had a coupon to try the sandwich and get a free half salad. With this humidity I went straight there. The Chicken Avocado was so tasty. The only thing the avocado was hard. So I put it on my Greek chicken salad and tried to cut it up because I don’t like to waste avocado. It is my favorite. The size of the meal was great and the value for the price all for under $10 from Panera… amazing! I was just disappointed with my salad. I tried something different from my Fuji apple chicken salad and it was ok. Enjoy overall my sandwich and chips! Panera I still love you and will be back 💕
Panera is always my go-to spot for lunch or hanging out with friends, and this was my first visit to the Shrewsbury location. I opted for my usual favorite, the Green Goddess Cobb salad, which never disappoints! While I tried their green tea for the first time, I found it okay, but it had a noticeable honey taste that I'm unsure about since I prefer adding my own honey. I also indulged in a kitchen sink cookie, although it was a bit overdone for my liking. Nonetheless, the service here was excellent, and I'm grateful for their patience when I couldn't find my credit card, which I later discovered under the car seat. The ambiance is consistently modern and visually appealing, and I particularly appreciate the layout at this location compared to the Parlin one—it feels more spacious and open. While I did notice that we had to wipe down tables before sitting, it's possible they hadn't gotten to it yet. Initially, the noise level was a bit overwhelming due to a screaming and crying baby, but once they left, it was a relief. It would be great if parents could manage their children's behavior more effectively in public spaces. Additionally, although not a complaint, my friend and I found it amusing that we heard a ringtone resembling quacking every few minutes—it wasn't too loud, but it added a touch of humor to our visit. I highly recommend trying the tomato soup and broccoli cheddar soup at Panera! Adding croutons to the tomato soup adds a satisfying crunch and enhances the flavor. Personally, I enjoy letting them soak a bit to become juicy. As for cookies, the tulip (or sandal, mitten, etc.) is always delicious and sweet. While I prefer the regular chocolate chip cookie over the kitchen sink cookie due to its potential saltiness, I do wish they made chocolate chip cookies as large as the kitchen sink ones, with larger chocolate chips.
