I had the mellow moss and wow! That was so good. It tastes like dessert! He made it so smooth and nice. Try it. It may be a wait but it's worth it. FYI, carrot juice does have a little milk in it. Everything else is self explanatory. I ordered the brown stew fish with rice & peas and cabbage. Always good. They only serve mannish water (goat head soup) on Fridays and goat soup on Saturdays. I like the mannish water and had to learn the hard way this Saturday. There's a difference so keep that in mind. The Mac and Cheese is good and the fried chicken is delicious. My friends on oxtail and curry goat. They enjoyed it. I would go back on a Friday because there's a slight difference. Idk if the chefs change on the weekends but as a foodie,I noticed. Regardless, it was still good food. Yes, the wait can be a bit aggravating, but this is even the case in Jamaica. Come with patience and make your order and don't be rude. The people are appreciative if you too but the don't expect it. Never be rude to the people serving your food. Please also remember to know what you want before getting to the head of the line.

Bit pricey for the frugal spender, but the food is good. They also have healthy protein shakes made on the spot, as well as sea moss varieties for those into that. Overall good place, I'd come back. Already bought two plates on my first visit.

at first i thought it would be a great meal, but then look at what i got. it speaks for itself!! spoke to them and they only offered a refund or a new order (EEWWW)! Mind you we spent almost $300 on one order.!!!

My family and I wanted to try out this place and saw photos of this spacious restaurant. It turns out that it looked more awesome in-person. The restaurant is gorgeously decorated with professionals attending to us periodically. Plus, the food is amazingly prepared with a delicious savor of Asian cuisine. The sushi was presented with such creative design and flavor that I had to take my time to take each flavorful bite. I recommend going to this place right in the opening hours so that you can have all the space to enjoy the decorated walls, the peace of mind, and the culture that Kai brings to your table. Very disappointed, food smelled good from the train so I decided to order and since they had an A. Thought the food would be great since it picked up some traffic while waiting for my food. The chicken wings and tostones were okay. The shrimp & garlic sauce a complete waste of money. The shrimp is over cooked it taste mushy just disgusting. They also don’t even let you look at the food it was closed up which was strange.

Speaking as a native, this is the the best NYC Chinese restaurant food I’ve ever had. Solid customer service. Looks like a typical hood spot. They have automated service so ordering over the phone is quick and easy.

Not bad. One of the better Chinese food places in the area. Cheap eats. They can be hit or miss. Usually the chicken wings are the best here. Half chicken can sometimes be dry and old and the chicken breast portion is actually so tough it’s difficult to eat. Large broccoli sometimes comes extremely greasy so it’s a lot of oil mixed with sauce. You have to ask them go light on the oil. When the food is good it’s not bad.

I have been eating here for years. I have no complaints about this place. The food is always good and delicious, the place is clean. You get a lot of food when you order and that is awesome.

Hands down the best Chinese food in the area. There isn't anywhere to sit and they only take cash, but everything they make is A1. I've had their chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice, they use a lot of different fresh vegetables, General Tso chicken is always crispy and spicy, their half chicken is really good too, and their prices are great

Brooklyn don’t have no buffet with take out ranging from $7 -$13 depending on the container size and fill it with alllll you can….idk if I’ll be back because I truly avoid going to the Bronx butttt this Chinese food didn’t make it allll the way home ! I sat and ate some in my car! I got Crab in there , chicken broccoli, baked chicken, plantain , 2 type of rice a piece of sushi!! I was pleasantly impressed!!! So happy I got to try this ! The BRONX CHINESE IS BETTER THAN BROOKLYN & CHEAPER! And friendly staff !!!!

Come here if you want a quick bite to eat. Reasonable price, they have a variety of good, vegetales and fruits. Some seafood not much. Sanitary wise they get 1 star. No gloves or hairnets. People reaching all over the food unsanitary. Eat here at your own risk.

So I called the store, made an order over the phone with honey chicken wings, vegetable fried rice, shrimp, and broccoli with garlic sauce, they delivered my order I gave them a tip. I touched the food about an hour later to realize there is no shrimp. I call the store back spoke to some manager. They agreed to remake my food and do a swap five minutes later another Manager calls me telling me no we can’t make the swap. We could just give you five shrimp. How is that gonna work? Just think about other people mind you this is the only Chinese food that I eat around the block so therefore it was more like and screw me even though it was their mistake just something for you to think about food for thought when they treat you how they treated me do we really need to give them our business? It was totally their fault. How do you miss the shrimp and shrimp and broccoli. Please help me understand these people. You know how we can make them understand not ordering from them no more let them understand that our money counts

It's a nice place to get a ton of Chinese delicacies. The lunch special menu is filled with so many nice options to make your day bright. Personally I went for 4 wings with chicken fried rice and I loved it.

This place reminds me of Fallujah. Like Fallujah in 2009. It’s an actual warzone. If the “B,” on the window doesn’t scare you off, or the rats scouring the bombed out parking lot for scraps, or the empty liquor bottles you have to trek through to make it to the actual store, the cardboard taped to the partially collapsed window panels might do it. Wear Kevlar when you get your egg rolls, people. This place should be condemned. Killer chicken though. 5 stars. Also the dude picks up the phone with the funniest line I’ve ever heard in my life. Call. You’ll see.

I’ve been going to Jimmy’s since I was a child (literally) and this is the only Chinese food restaurant I fully trust 😭. Jimmy and his staff are the sweetest. The customer service is A1! And the food has never disappointed me for all the years I’ve been ordering from them. Love this place!

Service is clean and quick when not packed to the brim with people. It can be a bit difficult to order custom orders since only the son speaks English well enough to understand what you want quickly. The parent's which are the regular workforce understand the orders on their menu, but have trouble understanding anything that strides a little from the norm. Fair price on their meals for today's economy and the food is rather delicious as far as take out restaurant's go. I recommend the Happy Family, it may be a tad overpriced and drowned in sauce, but only someone who cares deeply for presentation and proper sauce portions would complain. For the rest of us, not practicing our culinary arts on take-out restaurants and being pretentious snobs, it's rather delicious!

Great take out restaurant. Always call to order ahead. Very busy on weekends. Prices recently went up by $1 on most combo orders. They are closed on Mondays.
