Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
If I could put zero stars I would. There was a LITERAL TOOTH IN MY FOOD!!!! that is beyond disgusting and I hope you guys get shut down or at least fully rehire your staff. This is unacceptable and I want some kind of compensation. I threw up when I found this. Unbelievable.
Garlic sauce was sweet and dumplings got soggy too fast from the steam. Everything else not bad. (Wings, chicken and broccoli, beef on sticks.)
Hong Kong Restaurant
This place is wonderful and should really be rated higher! I called around 8pm on a rainy Monday night and they joyfully took my to go order even though they closed in 30 minutes. I’m really picky about Chinese food, especially when I order Mongolian Beef, and this was in the top 2 I’ve ever had. The meat was super tender and plentiful and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy! Delicious! I also ordered General Tsao’s chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both were amazing! I really appreciate how they packaged the food as well. It was well sealed and stayed hot until I got home. I highly recommend the egg rolls as well. The restaurant was immaculate and there were quite a few people in there even with the bad weather and it being a Monday! I will definitely be back to try their lunch buffet and it’s nice that they are open 7 days a week.
I don't know... Maybe I ordered the wrong thing... It's the only Chinese food for 30 miles... I may give it another chance... But I doubt it.
New Dragon
I have been going here for over 10 years and the lady that owns it is so nasty and rude, today will be her last day being rude to me. I will not be returning! Not to mention you have to spend $10 to use your card.
A little pricey, food was good, some chineese places use wayyyy to many bean sprouts but not here, excited to try something new next time! Customer service could be better! A smile nice greeting anything! Customer service is everything!
China Garden
Waited 45 mins for our take out order. Was told that 2 dinners was $20.xx. card was charged. Half hour later card adjustment was made and I was charged an additional $4. Woke up next morning to ANOTHER adjustment of ANOTHER $5. $30 for 2 of the cheaper dinners is outrageous and changing my card more and more is illegal!!!! NEVER GO TO AGAIN
I ordered general tso’s and got sweet and sour chicken, general tso’s has brown sauce NOT RED SAUCE when I called about about the mixup The woman who answered told me I was wrong and hung up on me I tried calling back twice and went straight to voicemail Worst 23 bucks I ever spent That’s for sure! Next time I’ll drive the 20 minutes to “peeking cook” in wellston this isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had here if I could give them zero stars, I would don’t waste your money here!!
Little Dragon Cafe
I recently visited Little Dragon Cafe for lunch with my fiancé. While the food was tasty and the prices were reasonable, a few aspects of the experience were less enjoyable. First, the ambiance: although the atmosphere is cozy, we left the cafe with our clothes and hair smelling strongly of fried food, which was quite unpleasant. Better ventilation would make a big difference. Second, I found their service charge policy problematic. An 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but it’s not clearly disclosed beforehand. On top of that, they still ask for additional tips, which feels a bit misleading. Transparency about pricing is important, and this policy left a bad impression. Overall, while the food is good, these drawbacks made the experience less enjoyable. I’d still highly recommend it, but be prepared for the lingering fried food smell and double-check your bill!
I ordered the shrimp and vegetables to go. I got it steamed with sauce on the side. Everything was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The shrimp were not overdone, and the vegetables were not overcooked. The white sauce that comes with this dish is super light but very flavorful. I really enjoyed it. I added miso soup for a dollar, and it had great flavor. The dish has a choice of white rice or plain fried rice at no additional charge. I got the plain fried rice. They even threw in a Rangoon and a mini eggroll. I would highly recommend this place.
Golden Lake Pavilion
Coming from an avid dim sum goer I am obsessed with this place. They always have the best dim sum so fresh. I love that they roll around the carts not many places do this anymore. We’re here for every event and occasion in our family. i’ve included pictures from the last couple of months.
Dined here several times and the food is great 👍 👍. A bit pricey but good quality. Our cycling group of 9 dined here and we brought our own wine to inebriate. BYOB. The venue also has nice wine selection. The VIP private room was spacious & comfortable. The highlight here was the KING CRAB 🦀 (15 lbs, about a grand $$). If you’re looking to celebrate 🎉, you got to go BIG. Every dish was delicious and we cleaned out everything that was served. A unanimous vote that the food was worth it. The venue can use some new upgrades and the bathroom NEEDS MORE CLEANUP! This is why it did NOT receive 5 stars ⭐️ as an establishment worthy of charging $1,500 for dinner. 😅😅 Noon dim sum is also spectacular.
Sweet Wonton King
I was really looking forward to enjoying a good meal, but unfortunately, this place fell short. The "beef vegetable" dish was a joke - it came with beef and sprouts, but no actual vegetables. The beef stew looked stale and old, like it had been sitting out for hours, exposed to the open air. The noodles or whatever that was, looked like toy food, and the taste was disgusting. Everything about the meal was terrible. The food was so bad it even made my teeth sensitive, like I had just drunk battery acid. Honestly, if I wasn't so hungry, I wouldn't have even bothered eating this subpar food. Thankfully, my grandmother didn't get sick from eating it. Needless to say, I won't be back.
Congrats on the second locations. The place looks clean and friendly services. Location is great, right next to the hospital. They do have a small lmitied free parking lot in the back, if not pay street parking. The curry noodle soup was off the top. The portion was a little small, but the rich flavor packs the punch. The steamed rice roll was delicious. However, the rice dishes were just ok.
China Taste Restaurant
The chicken is not chicken I just took pics of my sesame chicken I been stop ordering Gen tsu chicken. My Gm been saying for years that's not the texture of chicken. It's stringy fatty and smooth as a scallop. The amount of shrimp in my order of Singapore noodles was like 6 baby shrimp and a pound of noodles. Shrimp is the only real food you have why be stingy with it? Or burn it. A real chef will never allow burnt food to leave the kitchen and a real manager wouldn't allow it to leave the store for delivery. And this is NOT chicken you need to let us know if your feeding rodent or other animals for real! I'm warming up leftovers now money wasted and then tipped to have bad food delivered. The nerve. Y'all owe the people some free real food veggies rice and shrimp or something lol and where are all these rats coming from that ya serving as chicken on a stick and Gen tsu that's not chicken texture on those sticks either.
I've eaten here before. Every time I say I am not going to waste my money again. I had only ordered the fried wonton and eggroll. They have always been overcooked. Today I changed up. I got a steak and cheese egroll, or so I thought. What I got was a cheese egg roll with a slice of green pepper. SMH. The onion rings were great though. The shrimp fried rice has no flavor or vegetables. Where's the garlic, the peas, the carrots or the bean sprouts. Soy sauce didn't help. The shrimp was not cooked with the rice but mixed after, so there is no shrimp flavor through the rice. Let me teach your Chinese cook from China how to cook Chinese.
Panda Express
I love this pandas! (Walmart location). Their food is always fresh and hot. Super busy but also excellent customer service. Would highly recommend this location!
I ordered from here on February 7th 2025 I also understand that I did order online for delivery. I had called the store as that's what it said online I have the pictures to prove it. So I called the store and told them that I did not receive my delivery order even though it said it's delivered. I also have video recordings of the time that the orders should have been delivered. They then told me to contact the third party that did the delivery. Where not helpful in letting me know what delivery company contact. They also stated that they did not have my order in their system even though it states I ordered it on the website from this store. I feel that I have been taken advantage of by this odd and sus situation. Greatly disappointed with it all.
Golden Dragon
This isn't a Chinese restaurant. Its a Chinese dive bar. you know...the one where all the alcoholics go because the drinks are super strong. I think they only serve food because they have too as a bar. I cant understand how this place ever gets above a two. I had the Generals and it was chicken fingers dripping in generals sauce. that's all. I ate what i could stand because i was hungry and didn't want the hassle of bringing it back since i took it to go. I cringe every time i drive by it. Panda express (fast food) is worlds better and cheaper with no attitude and PE isn't even all that great either.
We waited for about 10 mins before anyone noticed we were there. Only 2 women working dining room and full bar. They were both extremely nice, despite being overworked. Food was not bad, but extremely greasy. Portions were good. Bathroom was nasty.
Hacienda La Margarita
Good food and nice service, but I ordered one thing and out come something completely different
Delicious food :3
New Dragon Express
I work around this area and I usually walk by this Chinese restaurant on a daily basis so I decided to finally give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The Pepper Steak Combo is pretty good, plenty of meat, green peppers and onions. It comes with a standard yellow fried rice and an egg roll. It only took 5-10 minutes for the order to be ready. Although the inside needs a bit of spicing up it is still a pretty clean and spacious area to eat in. I really want to mention the owners as well. They’re your local ma and pa, grandma and grandpa that are very kind and patient and always try to get your order right. I would definitely come back again during lunch!
Uniquely designed as if you are sitting in an outdoor Japanese Market...the foods are authentic and plain delicious! The 2nd floor Arcade is a definite plus!
