To be honest, I'm not sure of the history of the establishment. I do know that my family has ordered from them since the early 1980s. The current owners seem passionate yet the days & hours that they are opened are inconvenient at best. I appreciate the cuisine but it seems like they are on a different schedule if you are able to understand that. I probably sound like an asshole but the specific hours and 3 days closed are suspect. Are they so proficient that they can operate that way and consistently be profitable? I hesitated to post this because of repercussions but I am so frustrated because everytime I call to order, they seem to be closed. Apologies if I offend...

Since relocating from the city, it’s been hard to find a consistent spot, this one is it! Wings fried well, rice is fresh and you’ll usually get a free soda. They mixed up my order once, and immediately fixed it and gave me freebies for their mistake. Highly recommended.

The cat and dog was yummy yummy in my tummy! The chef also put fried toenails in my order and cat piss in my wonton soup!

Tried to order for delivery like 10 minutes before they close and they refused to deliver the order because I lived 7 minutes away versus 5. Wild to me, especially because they already close early for a Chinese food place as is.

If you are Vegetarian or Vegan there are definitely some choices for you here.. Food is made to order and vegetables are always fresh.. Except for their crab sticks which comes frozen-pre packaged; I definitely will not be getting those again. Very rarely do I get the fried fish meal which is always wonderfully made. I usually get their fried fish with vegetable fry rice and it is to die for.. On a regular basis I get their Brocolli in General Tsao' sauce with steamed rice or their Mixed Vegetables in Garlic sauce or sometimes curry sauce with steamed rice.. These are my go to Vegetarian dishes and they're always well made.. Overall this is my go to place for Chinese food and this will not change anytime soon.

I been eating here for 23 years and the food still taste the same good as ever. If I move I will always come back when I’m in town.

Food is good but need a make over as someone mentioned about the kitchen I pray over my food

The food was horrible!!!!!! The chicken wings were old, the vegetable fried rice was over cooked! I take my star back!!

Only giving 4 stars because I replaced the meat products with tofu, and they charged $2 more to replace the meat with tofu. Which makes absolutely no sense because tofu costs way less than any type of meat. The service way amazing. She was a super sweet lady. The food was delicious. Vegan options are available but cost more for no reason. The veggie pho was the best pho I've ever had

On the second floor of Scarlet Pearl Casino, we stumbled upon a hidden gem while hunting for late-night eats at 11 PM. The restaurant was open until 2 AM, and we were drawn in by the promise of a warm bowl of pho. What we got was a spicy noodle dish (~$25) with a rich, savory pork broth packed with brisket, pork shank, and even pork blood cubes. It was a late-night flavor explosion that hit the spot perfectly!

i can tell by how neatly placed these chairs are and how clean this establishment is that the workers do a very good job. the food is very well prepared and made efficiently. ladies at the register closing on november 3 were very nice and helpful.

Outstanding! Stopped in for lunch for the first time and I am glad I did. The restaurant is spotless clean and on point with all the details. From signage to condiments. I chose the lunch special offered for $10.75. (M-F 11-3) 8 chicken wings and a side of seasoned fries. The soy garlic wings were very tasty with a good crunch. The seasoned fries were just as good with just the right amount of seasoning. Definitely goes on my list of top ten wing places around. “Every piece of Bonchon chicken is double-fried then hand brushed with our signature sauce”. Very friendly and accommodating counter help with table service. The menu has plenty of other options including soups and other Korean dishes. Washrooms as well were spotless clean. If you’re into wings then definitely try them out. Easy on street parking or lot.

Tried and true. Still my favorite Chinese food in the area. Very well priced. Good quality. Always fresh. Service is fantastic. Fast. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Party room upstairs.

Excellent chicken garlic sauce spicy!! Beef teriyaki very good! Great service! Hot and sour soup perfect for the bones in this cold.

I love this restaurant! The food is delicious albeit a bit pricey (but who isn't expensive these days?), but at least I get what I pay for out of the Great quality. Plus, I can get more than one meal from my order. I mean, unless I'm famished, the serving size of the noodles is enough to take home leftovers and have another meal out of it. The service is always great, too. The pictures show Yellow Curry served with rice and Pad See Ew, which are both delicious and filling.

Food was decent, prices were good and service was friendly. The meat was a bit skimpy and portions and ingredients were not consistently sized. (Big piece of carrot next to a small piece of chicken.) Taste was pretty good. Would go again.

Racist and rude. Come into black neighborhoods to treat black ppl weird n give us very poor quality food like go somewhere else if you don’t care about the community you wanna be in so bad to get the black dollar. I went to get some soup and he was unnecessarily rude. I ain’t want food from such a rude service and said it’s okay he catch a worse attitude and close the window. It’s bout to 2025 and there will be a rude awakening if they think they can continue business like this in our neighborhood with our money keeping them in business. No point be loyal to a business that not gonna show basic kindness and look out for the people they serve cause we deserve better.

I love ordering here they never disappoint me the food is always served good and big portions!!!

Best tasting chicken and shrimp lo mein in the heights by far! My overly critical mother is a fan, and that’s saying a lot! They’re generous with the shrimp. Their fried rice looks more like yellow rice, yet it has more flavor than any of the competing Chinese restaurants along Central Ave strip. Their chicken wings dont have the authentic usual Chinese take out taste but it’s juicy and crispy as any good wing spot’s.

Have been coming here for a long time, the owners are the sweetest and the food is really great! I love the fact can get great quality food and sushi so close to home and at a great price!!! Win win for a fast delicious weeknight dinner!

I have been going to this place recently. I ordered, 3 chicken wings with fries, 4 chicken wings with pork fried rice, and two egg rolls, plus I tipped. When I got home I saw one of the French fries with chicken wings had (2) chicken wings and one of the rice and chicken wings had (3). When I called the woman was charging me $5.19 for the missing pieces and claimed I only said (2) chicken wings…. Rude customer service and a robbery for your money. Didn’t even try to let me get the missing pieces. Selfish af

Whether it is chicken or roasted pork Fried rice is good. Can't say the same for the lo mein, blan. The lady is rude, when I first came and started to take pictures of the menu the chef came out with a ladle to confront me. I left. The woman is nice before you hand over the money, after that different person later. Was yelled at when i got distracted by fireworks, and didnt hear her calling me. The food is good and fast. As long as the food is good, I can get pass her being rudeness. Especially when I tried other places and these does seems to have the most decent Chinese food. Sadly it doesn't serve soup with the order, only soda.

Order the fried shrimp lunch special. Consisted of three fried shrimp, chicken fried rice, an egg roll, and for some reason barbecued pork pieces in a sauce. The fried rice and the shrimp we're decent nothing special. The egg roll was horrible. I have no idea why it had pork with it but it did not look appetizing and the sauce kind of ruined some of the rice. Really wish they didn't put it in there. I would not go back way better food around. Especially since it was 12 bucks for the lunch special.

My family ordered over $70 worth of food which I thought was high for a family of 4 but if it's good that's OK. The problem was instead of egg rolls we got spring rolls and my 18$ large lo mein was only 2/3's full. I see they are under new management so maybe that's the issue . We never had had a problem there before. I suggest going to a different place for Chinese. There are plenty around . I for one will never be going back. they told my wife when she called that they don't have spring rolls, but if you look at the picture they are clearly spring rolls.egg rolls are not smooth .
