My boyfriend found a bug in his broccoli with plain fried rice dish. They tried to say it was burnt onion. The proper people will be contacted since they don't want to give a refund. We will never eat from them or any other Chinese restaurant again.

Omg this chicken & broccoli taste so good. I have been a customer since the 90's with the previous owners. Idk if the new owners are related to former owners, but the quality is still top-notch. Chef's Kiss 💋

Don’t buy food any more over there we made a big order today and I found a Worm in my food! We went to make a complaint and they just said they want the food back.

I went for late evening takeout and my experience was average (i.e. there was nothing outstanding and nothing to disappoint. Average. Recent reviews were the deciding reason to go and order. Specifically, there was nothing that motivated a reviewer to say how horrible this restaurant was. Average with no negatives. When I return to the area in the future I will certainly order again after a late night's work.

food was very good but the customer service was HORRIBLE. the person at the front desk was speaking to us as if she was trying to rush us out the door as we were waiting for our food and she was very very rude about it as well. i got white rice with general tso chicken and got a mountain of rice and barely any chicken ??? we planned on eating here it was our first time so we did not know how it worked and they didnt ask if we wanted to eat in or dine out she automatically assumed we wanted to take it to go and placed the order to go as well.

This has been the best and most authentic Chinese food in the area for thirty years. Since changing ownership several years ago, it has only improved. Now there are Shanghainese specialties like the pan fried pork buns which are amazing. Other dishes that we love are the Peking duck, seafood pan fried noodles, fried tofu with chopped shrimp, and the casseroles. Love love love this place. If you don’t know what to order, ask for Lynn and she will help you order.

Not sure why the lower ratings. I have never had any issues with this place and have been going here for at least 10 years. The smoothies are great, everything's fresh and flavorful. Kung Pao, bourbon/orange chicken, beef fried rice and whatever else I'm currently forgetting. You can tell everything's fresh made because there are variations to the ingredients, but ultimately it's all the same.

Rude driver, expensive food, drivers BEG FOR TIPS AFTER YOU ALREADY PAY THE DELIVERY FEE, tip is extra and by choice and if you have the extra funds to give. It is not mandatory and tell that to your drivers ,so I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. In my line of work I get tips But IM NOT ALLOWED TO ASK FOR ONE... And the Food is terrible. IL stick with my first choice next time. They're drivers are Soooo nice and polite and deserving of a good tip ..

The food is sooo delicious and that service is so nice. When I went to pay they were so nice. The food looks so good. I have allergies and they have always taken great care of me.

Update: We tried again, we had fried rice and an entree, unfortunately food was terrible. Downgrading... ********** We were skeptical to try this place given the poor reviews based on  service and food. We rolled the dice and just had chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles for lunch today. We were reasonably satisfied with the taste and quality. Although fried rice was bit too oily and bit salty  overall the flavor was good. Not the typical flavor less rice you get in my most places. Singapore noodles were barely ok. A bit too dry and lack of  flavor.  I feel they are bit pricey for the quantity and quality.

MAKE SURE TO READ THE END OF THE REVIEW It was late and we were desperate for some Chinese food and found this place, pretty good pricing and it was actually open. When I got there the entire lobby smelled like pee and it was not in the greatest condition. Whatever, usually the ghetto places have the best Chinese food. The guy at the counter was really nice but they made the wrong meal so I had to wait for a new one to be made (still ended up with the wrong meal), As I was waiting, there was a homeless man walking around asking everyone for money, it looks like he spends most of his time in there. When I got the food I was leaving but the homeless man stopped me and asked for money, I gave him a dollar and then he asked if I had a 10 and kept asking for more money so I just left. This wasn’t outside this was inside the store. Food was okay but I threw up the next morning.

I use eat here all the time back on the original owners had it they moved on so the business these people here there’s new people to me they are fantastic they picked up didn’t drop the ball

The shrimp is not cleaned, almost exploding with the uncleaned guts. Attaching a picture. I've always liked their food, for a takeout place they taste pretty good but this is a HUGE health concern. Absolutely disgusting.

Atmosphere is N/A. It’s take out only. This place has been in business forever for a reason. It’s always good and at a reasonable price.

My food was very dry. You can tell it was not made fresh. The chicken wings also came squishy cold and nasty. I am very upset. Will never order from here again.

They could use a remodel. I had egg fo young for the first time. I didn’t see anything special about it.

Some of the rudest people you can ever meet. It’s ironic that they are located in a predominantly black neighborhood and are extremely rude and racist to their primary demographic. The customer service for a lack of better words suck. The asian lady with the short hair was so rude to me I literally had to leave the establishment. I’ve given this place multiple chances and I've been dissatisfied every single time! If no other Chinese shop is open this shouldn’t even be your last resort.

September. Their food gave me a stomach parasite. I felt brain fog for three weeks and out of fear that it was a parasite I did a full herbal/allicin detox. On the third week I expelled a long skinny worm attached to my stool. A contaminated plate of rice. Eat at your own peril!!

This has been my family’s favorite chinese spot for over 20 years. Jenny is awesome and always makes sure my order is just how we like it. Always a hit every week !

Located in The Heights, Jersey city this is one of the legacy places in the neighborhood and visiting the place for the first time since 2019. First time, the rates were pretty affordable but obviously given the inflation over the past 5 years the rates have been increased but still affordable. Being a typical Chinese restaurant, just don't expect a great ambiance as they prefer to focus more on the quality of food! The service is pretty fast as they delivered the food within 10 mins despite giving me a time limit of 15mins. I ordered Hot and sour soup, Pan fried chicken dumplings and Veg Fried rice. Hot and Sour soup: Initially thought it would be chicken but turned out veg. The soup was living to its name though it was a little less hot than expected and had mushrooms, veggies, and a good amount of soy sauce and it tasted good. Pan fried chicken dumplings: Initially thought of ordering steamed but went for pan fried and loved it! The layering was good not too thick and thin whereas I wish the chicken had a bit of spices but I think they had added chives. The soy sauce accompanied by it was good too. Veg Fried rice: Fried rice had snow peas, broccoli, carrot, green peas, baby corn. The rice though felt a bit dry and could have been better. They served it in a takeout box and the box was a pretty cute one! Overall an affordable place to get good Chinese food within the neighborhood.

The best Chinese take out restaurant I’ve ever had in my 30 years of living !! The food is so flavorful and you can tell they season it ahead of time. The previous reviews were of hateful people many years ago. This place is super clean in the sitting area and cooking area. The oil was clean and their sanitation standards exceed expectations! I’m Peruvian and this pollo a la brasa is better than any pollo a la brasa I’ve had in Paterson , Passaic , Clifton , and everywhere else . I’m so happy I came. I had the crab ragoons that were also the best I’ve ever had. They actually were flavorful and had a lot of filling. Lomein 10/10 and that arroz Moro accompanied by the pollo a la brasa was ADICTIVE . The owners are so pleasant and have great customer service. You can tell they care about their customers. I wish I took pictures but I ate it so fast because it was so good I wasn’t able to take any. I asked her if I can take a pic of the chicken though lol.

Best restaurant ever I love it there chicken broccoli is the BEST! No other restaurant can compare. They season it just how I like it. It has so much flavor as well the place is also very clean and neat!
