price is good, food is great- only complaint is that they don’t give me a good portion :,) i ask for broccoli beef but get like 5 pieces ㅠㅠ im too hungry for this

There was a lady working there today (she looked older) on the register, 3/21/2025, morning time around 10:30am-11:30am, she was very, very rude. She had a nasty look on her face and basically pushed my food at me. With no reason, because I was polite, quiet and barely said a few words to her. I was very put off by that.

Apparently under new ownership! Discovered this little place on a day trip. Definitely will be back! Clean, fast and friendly service. Food was hot and delicious. General Tso chicken is the best I’ve had! My family and I come to this area once every couple weeks. You won’t be disappointed! Note that it’s a take out place not dine in.

Affordable, clean. We like the takeout. Staff are always professional and very friendly. It’s fast and delicious Chinese food! Great for a relaxed night at home, nobody is saying bring your wife for your 50th anniversary. Some of these comments seem like people are expecting a Michelin star type of place lol. Love this place!

My family has been going here for years. Love the food, portions and the owners. Always friendly. I can’t recommend any specific dish as I think we’ve had just about everything on their menu!! I believe that they’re the only place that offers Lo Mein with no veggies already on their menu, but they do cater to your preferences if asked.

I love this place I love the food. It's the only Chinese food place that has done it right, in terms of quality, quantity and taste; it has the trifecta. I always get the general chicken chef special and sometimes their combination lunch that comes with a egg roll, Also their crisply beef is good. I just wouldn't recommend the sweet or sour chicken but everything else in their menu is pretty good.

This is the only Chinese food in CT that I have actually loved. The food was outstanding, truly delicious. It met my exact expectations as a New Yorker spoiled with access to good Chinese food who has been deprived since moving to CT. In addition to excellent meals (and selections from typical Chinese American to authentic and traditional dishes) the service and atmosphere were both top notch. Friendly service and a clean dining room with soft music and soft lighting. This was overall just a wonderful experience. We had pork belly bao, pan seared dumplings, general tso chicken, and pork with garlic sauce.

Came for a Christmas dinner, party of 7, we had the best service, best food and more. This was the first time we've ever tried this restaurant and I'm so happy we decided to come here. The dumplings were authentic and fantastic, all the meals were outstanding. Thank you for an amazing meal!

Food is great the actual building looks like a dump. They should really clean the place... Staff was great fast and polite. Update 9-11-2023 3 stars now, you've officially been demoted Asked for Chicken Lo Mein with vegetables, I hoped for good quality veggies but was left disappointed. Overall, I'm just missing some baby corn, snow peas, carrots, and water chestnuts. It's still a good budget option but has the potential to become a premium.

This is not an eat-in place- only take-out. We always order the combination dinner of shrimp chow main. The combos are a better value and come with pork fried rice and your choice of either a shrimp or pork egg roll. The food is good, the shrimp can vary in size but are generally a decent size and the menu is pretty standard. Order ahead- takes 15 minutes. Very hard working crew there-and never messed up our order!

I was surprised to find a place like this here, as it feels like the quality belongs somewhere in Manhattan. If this restaurant were in the city, it could easily rival Michelin-starred restaurants! No joke, we ordered some of the most common dishes, but the quality was outstanding. When my cousin and I arrived, we couldn’t believe the prices—only $16 for fresh seafood! I initially thought that price was just for a small portion, so we ended up ordering a lot of food, and the total was just $120! Fish Dumplings 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Who would have thought you could find such authentic fish dumplings in the U.S.? The fish filling is bouncy and fresh. It’s delicious even without dipping it in vinegar. Lamb Soup 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Honestly, this is the best lamb soup I’ve ever had in the U.S. It has a distinct lamb flavor but isn’t overwhelming. It’s just fresh and light, not too strong. The first time we had it, the two of us finished a whole big bowl along with a plate of spicy crayfish Steamed Egg with Clams 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 No one can resist the soft, fresh taste of steamed egg. With the clams and a special soy sauce, the flavor is refreshing and pairs perfectly with golden pancakes. It’s a must-try! Stir-fried Shrimp with Soy Sauce and Chili 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is my absolute favorite! It’s made with soy sauce, onions, and dried chili, and the aroma from the stir-fry is incredible. The highlight is the fresh taste of the shrimp. Unfortunately, this dish is out of season right now, so it’s not available. Salted Egg Yolk Prawns 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A must-order dish! The prawn meat is so fresh, tender, and juicy. The prawns are lightly fried, stuffed with salted egg yolk, and the outside is crispy. The aroma is irresistible! Black Fish in Iron Pot / Fish with Golden Pancakes 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Fish is usually seasonal, but this place deep-fries the fish and then braises it in a rich sauce, which is just perfect. The golden pancakes are fried crispy on the outside but remain soft on the inside, perfect for soaking up the sauce. Stir-fried Cabbage with Shrimp 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is a highly recommended dish by my cousin. Nearly every table orders this. The fresh shrimp and cabbage are stir-fried to perfection with a fragrant oil. I once packed this dish for a colleague from Qingdao, and she raved about it all the way home! Honestly, I would take an Uber to come here 6 times in half a month—this place is truly a hidden gem!

I wouldn't say this is a good restaurant to go for Qingdao Shandong style seafood. The steamed bao is mediocre. The menus are quite confusing with different prices for same dishes.

The food is always amazing here from the regular Chinese menu to the Sushi delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clean. A must when visiting the area.

I enjoyed my lunch here - the scallion pancakes were really tasty! The fried rice was a little underwhelming, but all in all the meal was tasty. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot or you can order ahead like me! Side note - the guy working the front was very kind :)

Initially, I was a bit worried after seeing its Google review score, but this restaurant is totally underrated. The food here deserves a much higher rating. I’m from Qingdao, and it’s truly rare to find such authentic hometown cuisine here. Their “lu bao” (crispy stuffed buns), dumplings, and steamed buns are all delicious, and the seafood dishes are prepared in a very authentic style. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, changing our plates multiple times so we always had clean plates for the new dishes.

Good food at a great price! The machine wasn't properly turned on for online orders to process, but my order was quickly made in-person when I arrived. The beef and broccoli without sauce and white rice was great! Wonton soup is not particularly what I'd usually like. Wontons pulled apart easily and tasted store-bought/frozen and the hot & sour soup tasted kind of odd and tomatoey, General Tsos chicken was okay, pork fried rice was a little too mushy. I'd try the other items though!

I ordered a General Tso chicken lunch special with fried rice and it was tasty. I was satisfied with my meal, especially with the classic fried rice which includes vegetables. Good price, quick delivery, and good people!
