China One - N Durango
Typical of Chinese food chains, they are mostly prepared on order. Hot and fast and very reasonable in prices. Fill the stomach and leftovers for another meal or 2. Of course taste is more adapted to American palates but totally acceptable.
Food is fresh, hot and comes to you fast! They give very generous portions. We had the lunch specials and took half home as there was a lot of food. They even give you little Chinese chips for starters. Egg rolls with accompanying sauce was good too. I like that they let you choose either rice or noodles with your entree. Great place to eat and doesn’t kill your pocketbook!
China A Go Go
They changed the box size, so now you only get half the size but still the same price. The food is always a hit or miss. It’s either salty as hell or no flavor at all! I also over heard the cooker asking the lady in the front if one of the customer tipped. The lady needs to have a better attitude since she’s the one taking orders.
China A Go Go is our ONLY go to Chinese food to go to in Vegas! It was a nice surprise from all the other takeout Chinese places that have fizzled out. Location is directly off of Farm Road in the Sprouts store center. The chefs are directly from Fujian, China and have a very nice style of Chinese cooking. Everything we ordered was amazingly delicious, nicely portioned, served hot, prepared quickly and packaged nicely! Tim the chef was busy making all the orders. Tina greeted us and took our orders. They are very friendly and professional. The place is very clean and there is comfortable seating at several tables. Crab Rangoon was crispy, not a bit greasy and had a delicious flavor given they had flecks of green onion in the filling. The egg rolls were super crispy, hot, perfectly cooked and served with an in house made plum sauce that was delicious! The egg drop soup had a robust broth and flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken dinner was the best I’ve had in a very long time. It was filled with a lot of fresh perfectly cut vegetables and bite size chicken pieces in a nice light sauce. The accompanying stir fry noodles were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Noodles were not too fat or soft and went very well with the entree. Update 5/15/2023 Food here is so amazingly good we came back to try General Tao's Chicken, sautéed Vegetable lunch and dinner portion vegetable egg foo young. Everything was flavorful, served piping hot and generously portioned again. We like that the food has natural flavors and isn't masked by the sauces or other spices. Each dish tastes different as it should. Tim greeted us and served us nicely. The place is clean and easily dining in here is a breeze! ——— They also give you generous portions that surpass other takeout places! If you’re looking for excellent fresh hot Chinese takeout that checks all your boxes then this is the only place to go! Thanks Tina and Chef Tim for a very enjoyable experience!
New Grand China
Mongolian beef was the cheapest, grissliest, fattiest beef available. Everything we ordered screamed "mall food". Slow service. Not sure how this place is at a 4.2 rating. Probably fake reviews. Will not return.
Since New Grand China took the time to provide good service, I am taking the time to put this review in. The food is not only great tasting but the portion size is big. Ordering two food items from the menu fed 3 of us, and there are still leftovers. The staff are polite, unlike what I have experienced at China Go Go. On top of all that, they take care of putting together the takeout orders by presenting the food nicely in the containers and even placing cardboard in between the containers so they do not get crushed under the weight. This is attention to small details that you don't see from other places much.
Mandarin Express
I FOUND A COCKROACH IN MY FOOD! SEE THE PICTURE! When I called to complain, the guy that answered the phone said, "Okay, thank you." and hung up. I should've known. The delivery driver couldn't open the door to our office. It says "pull". She kept PUSHING! The Receptionist had to get up to open the door.
I stopped by after a strenuous hike (Frenchman) for a quick bite. The portion size was humongous and the service was good too. I promised to bring over friends next time I'll do the same hike.
Panda Express
Twice I have gotten a beef broccoli bowl from this location, and received a whopping 2.5 slices of beef along with 15+ broccoli heads. Rename the damn dish to Beef Flavored Broccoli.. because you are straight up robbing people.
MJ is the most beautiful soul ! every time we come in she always has the best customer service and goes OUT OF HER WAY to do the most! 10/10 service 10/10 all around. we love MJ give this woman a raise!❤️ (also clean location, hard working employees and good food!)
China Bistro
This is a good quaint Chinese restaurant near Boulder City. On pur way back from Hoover Dam we visited the restaurant. The food was decent, quality was good but the quantity can definitely improve. They have good variety of Chinese and Japanese alcohol. The service was good. Parking could be difficult at times but shouldn’t be an issue. will recommend. Do not try the combo options, wastage of money and not worth.
My family loves this place and we have gone here every few months for the past 5-6 years. Food is fresh and great, and the servers/owners have always been awesome. Highly recommend.
Jjamppong zizon (짬뽕지존 Las Vegas)
Do you remember Psy and Gangnam style? This restaurant and food are a lot like that. This is Korean street food. Not exactly fast food, certainly not classical fancy Korean food, but really tasty and what you might eat if you were out on the town in Gangnam. The restaurant itself was clean, with clean bathrooms, and a quaint atmosphere. The person who helped us with our order was really nice, had a great sense of humor and didn't mind bringing our young one a fork. The food was really authentic, hot, and tasty. The price was affordable and it was easy to park. We shall return!
Highly recommend for Korean street food. We had Tteokbokki, gimbob, donkastu, oden, amd tanghulu and everything tasted great. It was the best tanghulu that I had in U.S. and it made my kids so happy. (In the picture of Tanghulu, my kids had one piece of fruit in each)
Noodles
Our first time here. We wanted to try a new place. After reading others reviews, we made a reservation, and glad we did. We had reserved a booth and were sat at a very small half booth There were barely enough room for our plates. The tables are placed very close together. The atmosphere is bright, airy, and open. The service was "efficient". As it was our first time, we did have questions, and one server actually rolled her eyes at my husband's question. I understand that they were very busy, but there was no need for that. My husband's ice tea and our food came out quite quickly, but it was almost impossible for him to get a refill on his tea. The highlight was the food. Best duck I have ever eaten, and the sweet and sour was just amazing. I would like to come back here and try some of their other dishes, and just hope that the service was a little better and more friendly.
let me preface by saying the servers and the front desk are absolutely amazing and I have no complaints about their service. Pretty mid option for the price point on their menu. Don't recommend the Japanese Old Fashioned.. I don't know if they forgot the bitters.. The drink drank a bit on the ethanol side. Not at all conducive to opening an appetite. We also had the pot stickers and cucumbers.. The pot stickers were quite large.. but cold when they were brought to us.. the cucumbers were wayyyyy too sweet.. we had the garlic bok choy and that was quite delicious! I also had the 2 roasted meat plate.. Duck and Pork.. The Pork was actually quite Good! I preferred it over the duck.. The duck was mushy.. I don't recommend it. The restaurant really doesn't have an ambiance.. and doesn't have its own restroom (Which is annoying) Wash your hands before you go there.. or else it's a trek across to the other side of the casino..
KJ Dim Sum & Seafood
Friendly service. Good food. Are here twice during our stay but never got to try the dim sum menu. Hopefully next time!
So good!! One of the very best Chinese food restaurants in Vegas! All of the items were fresh and flavorful and so very delicious. Highly recommended!!
New York Chinese Restaurant
War Won Ton Soup was very nice.. Give that a 10+! Really enjoyed it. Wontons were well made, shrimp were nice size.. Good flavor! Combination fried rice was ehhh... Really small shrimp & way too much soy sauce or whatever they use... It was the darkest fried rice I've ever seen. Pork egg rolls were a nice size... Order too a long time, but it was Friday night and they were working hard. Place is just basic. Pretty much mostly food to go I think. Would definitely get that War Won Ton Soup again!
Called ahead and ordered a take out dinner. I had the pork with mushroom And my husband had the general tso and we split an order of crab ragoons. It was a total of $35. In my opinion it wasn't worth the money. The portions were huge but the food itself was very bland and didn't have a lot of flavor to it. The food was hot and fresh. The ragoons were the best thing out of our whole dinner It took forever to get their attention when we got there and then was told it still wasn't ready when they said it would be in twenty minutes so we waited an additional 10 minutes. I wouldn't go back.
Jack in the Box
I picked up several supreme croissant breakfast sandwiches and 2 double jack burgers for my husband. He wanted to have them for several meals over the next few days. Drive thru wasn't crowded, and at the pick-up window, only waited less than 5 minutes till I revived my order. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Will visit this location in the future when I'm in the area.
Great food and fast pace. Amazing staff. Met this one lady I believe her name was Karen. Beautiful young lady and very nice. Wasn't sure what to order and she advice me to get the jumbo jack. Very delicious by the way. Karen and her staff were very friendly and very fast paced. Very demure if I do say so myself. It's a 5 star for me.
China A Go Go
TAKE OUT QUICK & GOOD. Order to-go via app regularly. Food ready in 15 minutes. Order correct, hot, and tasty. See photos of what we like and order usually. Wor won ton soup is a meal in itself. (See photos of two orders of it to go.) New posted menu, too. (See video.) If our order is larger, we request and get egg rolls instead of white rice. This restaurant location has a good food health department inspection record, too.
Oh boy! What a place! Fast Chinese food made to order, not a water trough in sight. The food is decently priced and super delicious, I would have easily paid double for the portion sizes I received. Thank you guys for feeding me, I can't wait to come back♥️
