Dim Sum Café
The best Dim Sum in Summerlin! Very friendly, relaxing and enjoyable experience. The chow mien is tasty and crispy. Veggies are fresh. The sesame balls are delicious, better than we had in Los Angeles. Will come back soon. Happy Chinese New Year!
Overall a fantastic dining experience. Lots of options for dim sum and other food. Food items are delicious. Highly recommended.
Noodle Exchange
Amazing experience! Located inside Gold Coast. This is the beef and lamb with Thai soup base.
I actually came to the Gold Coast to gamble and I must say this casino is on my top 5 casinos in Vegas. I ended up gambling for quite a while and I requested comps for the Noodle Exchange and they gave me $50. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and I was so full afterwards. They do have the Hot Pot and I plan on taking my daughters next time because they have been asking to get a hot pot.
Thai Style Noodle House
Had them for takeout and was not disappointed. Everything was good but some items were better than others. This isn’t a place to go out of your way for but if you live nearby then it should definitely be in your rotation. Crab Rangoons were excellent. Fish cakes were solid but only get em if you like them already as they’re not for everyone. The basil fried rice was good as was the duck fried rice. Take your pick. Chicken wings were okay, nothing great but they’ll do. Pork belly was fine and the rad na even better. There are better places for Thai if you want to pay more or impress someone. But if you want a good meal for a good price then this spot will serve you well.
This is one of my favorite Thai places to eat at specifically just for Boat Noodle Soup. This place doesn’t get super busy and they also open pretty early. The service is pretty fast and they have a variety of Thai dishes. My main reason for coming here is specifically the Boat Noodle Soup. If you’ve had Pho, Boat Noodle Soup is pretty similar but with a more heartier taste to it that just makes it worth it. A hot warm bowl of noodles and meat is all you need to want to come here. This was also our first time trying the Roasted Duck Noodle soup and I actually really like that as well. It has a much cleaner flavor but still has depth to it. The duck is pretty good as well and they give you different pieces of the meat so that it can change it up a bit. Just like any other Thai place, you can always choose your spice level for whatever you feel comfortable. They have a spice tray on the side as well so you can add additional heat/flavor to your dish. The vibe of the place is pretty chill as I’ve only really been here in the morning. It’s nothing fancy but just enough aesthetic to feel like you’re in a Thai restaurant.
Louie's Noodle
Noodles are delicious! Despite the atmosphere was so so but we don’t mind 😝
The noodles from here are amazing. They easily beat out noodles that can be purchased in LA. They should strongly consider selling to supermarkets so that more people can have access to their products.
Ping Pang Pong
This place has some amazing food. Served in family portions. I highly recommend. The best hot and sour soup I have ever had. Very much impressed. Staff was on it and luckily not too busy when we went. Would highly recommended. Gobo beef was amazing. They did a tremendous job on the menu and will certainly be stopping in again. Normally I am not big on going to a different casino for food, but this place changed that
We went for dim sum at Ping Pang Pong and it didn't disappoint. We arrived shortly after they opened and the carts were rolling through the restaurant. Couple of the dishes were not as hot as I would expect however we ordered a couple that had to be made from the kitchen and they were excellent. The restaurant is located in Gold Coast Casino.
Tim Ho Wan
Food was great! Reminded me of being in Vancouver for Dim Sum. A nice modern restaurant inside of the Palms. Menu is friendly and approachable for newcomers but also has the expected staples for Dim Sum. You can order from the clipboard and reference the picture menu. I ordered the steamed rice roll with shrimp, steamed shrimp, dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, fried rice with barbecue, pork and shrimp, blanched, broccoli with garlic, garlic, string beans! Servers were nice and helped people around me with questions. I also noticed they had regulars coming in too. Overall, convenient location and solid food. Would go back again.
I’ve been coming to Palms for a while and usually see this place packed. But this past Saturday, it was quieter than usual, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise to discover this hidden gem! They have a unique ordering system: they provide a picture menu and a sheet where you simply mark the quantity of each dish you want. It’s straightforward and efficient. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, with perfectly balanced seasoning, and the customer service was exceptional.
Panda Express
I came here with my friends at 7:05pm on a Sunday evening to grab food really quick as we had something else planned to do. I got the 2 entree plate and medium drink combo. I got fried rice with honey sesame chicken and orange chicken. The cashier was Oscar and he was friendly. All The staff say “Hi, Welcome” when guest enter, which is pretty cool. We ate inside. It did start to get a little busy. The orange chicken was good, with no complaints. The honey sesame chicken was not as good. I had gotten it from a different location the day prior and it was delicious. The rice by itself was a bit flavorless, to me. It tasted fine when I paired it with the chicken. Beverage wise, the sweet black tea wasn’t good but the Fuze raspberry tea was perfect.
Decent spot. Same as other Panda Express so you know what to expect. Seems little more overpriced than other locations though
Express Hibachi
I love this little place because it's close to home. However while the lady was making my food I noticed how many times she touched the money , touched her clothes and face and also typing on her cell phone all while cooking my food. Not once did she wash her hands. I'm sorry that is not acceptable when making my food. I did ask for my money back, because we already have to deal with the messed up things that are happening to our food and how things are genetically made these days, I'm sorry I could not watch this happen and go home and eat with family and get sick because of this. When I told the lady about my issue she got mad right away, instead of fixing the problem. So if you go here , please take care and be mindful of people that are in control over your food.
The food here was very good and big portions without it being crazy expensive!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food came was very fresh and again it was very good!! This is some of the best fast Japanese/Chinese food I have had! It was also nice to get out of Vegas and away from all the same types of foods/people. This was still close to Vegas as we are on vacation! Again I would definitely recommend this place and the food is a 9.2/10!!! 😁 What we ordered: I got the combination dinner w/ steak and shrimp hibachi. My sister got the kids orange chicken meal. My Mom got the Singapore curry noddle. and my Dad got the General Tso chicken!
Ondori Asian Kitchen
From my initial phone call to make reservations, to finishing an awesome birthday dinner for our dad's 88th birthday, everything went smoothly. The food was served quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Manager Veronica, server Asami, and all of the team worked seamlessly together. Thank you everyone for making the night memorable. Please come in and witness this incredible culinary oasis!
My wife found this based on what we were craving and reviews and ratings. Ordered soy sauce pan fried noodles (added chicken), chicken fried rice, cucumber salad, California roll made with brown rice (add cream cheese, escolar). The food was served pretty quickly but that didn’t affect flavors or presentation. Everything was excellent and delicious. I especially enjoyed the soy sauce pan fried noodles because I’ve tried this dish many times at other restaurants but Ondori would compare to a dim sum restaurant (Empress Pavilion) I used to frequent in downtown LA CA. My wife asked if she could have her sushi roll with brown rice instead of white. Our server explained that it would be different textures, which my wife said was okay. We liked that Elise cared enough to let us know. Our server Elise was very friendly, super helpful with our questions and able to accommodate our requests. We appreciated other servers and bus folks like Juanita asking if we needed anything else. Parked in their covered parking structure. Give Ondori a try of your looking for Japanese and Chinese dishes.
Lucky House Seafood Restaurant
I came across LuckyHouse Seafood Restaurant and noticed it seemed to be a grand opening. Curious, I decided to give it a try. When I arrived at 4pm, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only two other people dining. It made me wonder where are the customers? The menu looked interesting, but the prices seemed high for the overall ambiance of the place. Still, I decided to try it out. I ordered the House Fried Rice and the Lucky Roasted Pork. The food wasn’t bad at all; in fact, it was okay. However, I did find it a bit pricey for what it offered. One downside was the service. The server had difficulty understanding my questions, which made communication challenging. In the end, I just ordered something simple that I was craving at the moment. Overall, the food was decent, but the pricing and service could use some improvement. I hope they work on these aspects as they establish themselves.
I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail in the decor. The dishes are not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience from ordering to dining. Whether for a gathering with friends or a family meal, this place is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning! Teriyaki Madness
Ordered online and my food was sent to the wrong restaurant location. Refused to refund me or help in any way. Was forced to either spend an hour in rush hour traffic or lose my money. Employees were rude and unhelpful. Horrific customer service. Hoping this review spares someone else from having such a horrible experience. Avoid avoid avoid.
Honestly this place used to be so good and I have frequented this place for years. They used to use real sliced steak for their bowls. Now they use some really cheap and crappy meat and it’s loaded with salt. They give you SO MUCH rice as a filler and whenever I ask for less rice and more veggies they don’t ever listen. Quality went way down but the price didn’t. Unfortunately I’m just over this place.
Ohana Hawaiian BBQ
Terrible service, I placed an order over the phone. The guy I spoke to was unprofessional. He didn’t even ask me for a name or number so I didn’t give it to him. He said it would take 20-25 minutes so I said ok. When my partner went to pick it up about 15-20 minutes later, he told him he was there to pick up my order. But when he went to pay, that’s when the cashier handed the ticket to the back. So that means he didn’t even place the order until my partner paid for it? So he had to wait another 20-25 minutes. So it took about 40 minutes total for 1 item. I don’t understand the difficulty it is to place a simple order over the phone.
I don’t know why Hawaiians and even non Hawaiians for that fact would pay $17 for a little portion of meat two scoops of rice and some macaroni salad. It’s beyond me. $17 can get you a breakfast buffet at Southpoint during Pacific hours $17 can feed you for two meals at chipotle $17 can get you a lot of stuff besides 6 ounces or less of chicken two scoops of rice and macaroni salad can you imagine the margins on these plates again? I feel sorry for Hawaiians and I don’t know why they do it.
