I visit once before and the food was good. I visit recently and the chicken Saint Paul sandwich was greasy, didn't taste any eggs. The special fried rice was dry. I won't go there again. The ceiling was dirty and the wood work was not clean.

***Buyer Beware*** Read to the end! This is typically my go-to place for Chinese Delivery, but after today I'll be ordering from somewhere else. The Crab Rangoon, Veggie Egg Foo Young, Pork Egg Foo Young on the St. Paul Sandwich, and the Tortilla Strips for my soup were all cooked in old, dirty grease, and burned on top of that. The only thing I could eat was the Hot & Sour Soup. We got a partial credit and I told the lady to refund my card because the food was disgusting and I didnt intend to order from there again and she said, " No problem. We don't need you. I put on black list." Awesome job, Chin's Wok. Awesome. P.S. She said it would take a month to get a refund on my card.

I ordered a hot braised chicken wing combo plate and chicken steamed noodles. The noodles were ok but the hot braised chicken.. you could tell that the chicken was cooked in old oil and probably days ago. The crust on the chicken was so hard it was unpleasant to eat. And the sauce tasted like it had cinnamon or maple syrup in it.. kind of off putting from what I'm used to. And the crab ragoon is not crab ragoon. No crab cheese or crab in it.. It was stuffed with a lot of shredded cheese and I'm guessing mayo.. not sure... but I was disappointed to throw away so much food.. the combo was $12. I only ate the rice which was tasty.. Nice man who works there but improvements are needed. He explained that he works the store by himself.

Lettuce was old sandwich was the size of a thin fish patty or something it didn’t even fit the bread the bread was thicker than the sandwich was totally disgusting a waste of my money $7 for a plain St. Paul and plain fried rice is a rip off they didn’t give me a fork and was out of everything u asked for they really need to be shut down who do I contact I wish I could give zero stars

Everything is good here been going for over 10+yrs. Fav is their tea, crab Rangoon, hot braised chicken (bone in) platter… Saint Paul literally everything!! Not a big rice eater so not sure about that I really pick over it but yes 10/10

I'm disabled and I call when I'm out front on a handicap spot and they bring my food out. I have never had an issue, they have always been kind and pleasant. This IA a good family with a great business...

SAVE YOUR MONEY… DON’T ORDER HERE! I will never return to this nasty chop suey. Horrible customer service. The food quality was hot and bland. Lastly, if you ask for extra egg, onion, or scallions. They’ll charge you for it. However, they do NOT give it to you. I’ll rather go somewhere that can follow simple instructions for food I AM paying for. HUHAN Chop Suey did an amazing job. thankfully!I highly suggest them over No.1 China Restaurant! SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!! No.1 china restaurant is horrible.

Good place with friendly service. It's probably not the best food ever but it definitely hits the spot and is worth checking out. Service is always friendly and quick

The food and service were good, but I was completely shocked by what was considered a whole order of shrimp fried rice. It was nowhere near a full order.. every other place I’ve been to serves way more rice than what I received. When I asked about it, the staff didn’t have much to say. Let me show y’all what a REAL whole order of shrimp rice looks like with more than 6 shrimp… something that’s actually worth my money. I won’t be coming back. What y’all gave me was a half order at best but I’m paying whole order prices. Please get it together. * the picture below is from china peace not the rice house. Also located on Lindbergh / hwy67

314 Day: I placed an online order for a WHOLE order of Ultimate fried rice cuz I didn't wanna cook or buy something for dinner so whatever I didn't eat for lunch, I'd have for dinner. When I got home and opened the box, to my surprise, the box wasn't full! The pic i posted here was at this moment. This rice was $12 and change (menu price) and they got the nerve to not fill it??? There's was no shrimp or ham in the box; only beef. Then, the 3 crab ragoons were hella small (I didn't take pics of them). They were $3.79! I haven't ordered ragoons in years so I don't know what happened with the sizes. I usually order from the original location, which is like about ten minutes from my house, but since they're closed, I been ordering from this one. I've been reading all bad reviews on here b4 I posted this, and it's a shame that one place has so many repetitive complaints. I don't think I will b ordering a whole order from this location or crab ragoons ever again. Oh, and I ate all the rice for lunch, so I'll have to make something for dinner. SMH

I tried this place a few time thinking that maybe they had an off night. However, my duck and noodles were pretty bland. Also ordered duck fried rice and they barely put any meat in it twice. I was really disappointed. Too many other options to waste money here. Not recommended

Everytime I come there’s always something. Came here before and ordered a chicken St. Paul but I got shrimp, I’m allergic by the way. I came today and the guy charged me 335. For rice because he double tapped the number 3. Because I apple paid I have to wait to get a $90 refund because they only took what was available on Apple Cash but what if I really needed it. Then he tells me he doesn’t have that much cash in the drawer, I see why. So had I never asked for a receipt I just would’ve been got

Food sucked, service even worse. The girl serving food looked like she wanted us gone immediately. Denied a sample, aggressively kept asking "AND?" And "is that ALL?" To my older parents. I understand having bad days but at least try a little.. the food was less than decent. The noodles were dry and cut into pieces so small you couldn't pick them up. The orange chicken had us questioning if they put the orange sauce on it and the pieces of the chicken were 99% breading. They had no cold bottle drinks and the soda machine is surrounded by wet dish towels. Napkins and cutley are behind the counter and they glare when you ask. My parents were both very disappointed as was I. Charley's is the only saving grace of this mall. Going there next time, they deserve my business.

Food was tasteless and dry. Portions are small. Top of all, there was a worm in my broccoli! Just noticed it after I was almost done with my food. I felt so grossed out. There was no manager in place, which is bad. There should always be a manager in. A refund is not even enough to fix this. Just gross.

Best Chinese food around. They are always fresh and the food is made to order. It’s a husband and wife that run the restaurant and they are the only employees so wait times may run long if they are busy but we always call in and give them time to make the food before picking up. It is definitely worth the wait! Some of our favorites are the sweet and sour chicken, tangy chicken with a side of hot oil, beef and broccoli, and their house special lo mein. Can’t go wrong! Plus their crab ragoons are on the sweeter side which we love!

The lady that works the register is extremely rude. Last time I was in there she gave my father a pork fried rice and insisted that it was beef like he originally ordered when we could clearly tell that it wasnt and refused to give us a refund or even just remake the order. The time before that she gave me the wrong order and when I got out to my car with it, she proceeded to open the door of my vehicle and ripped it out of my hands before explaining what happened. If your so bad off that you need to be rude to customers, call them liars, and touch their personal belongings then maybe you need to shut your crap hole down or hire more help. I've tried having grace with this place time and time again because they have good food and its just two people who works there. They are extremely short staffed for how much business they get, and they are very short with customers because of this.

The buffet had several items to choose from. The crab ragoon were delicious. You have several main dishes to choose from, fruit, dessert, seafood, and more. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. Would recommend.

This place made me lose my 5 year no barf streak 😡 (I got food poisoning). When I laugh I crap a little thanks to the diarrhea, trying to have high spirits but its tough ngl 😔. It's definitely on the expensive side, taco bell does me better than this, on the toilet and with the food. [🚨Be advised, food poisoning inbound🚨]

Not a lot of dine-in customers when we came but the staff were busy with mobile orders. I like the choices of the usual offerings - plenty of chicken dishes and a dish or two of beef, and it seemed just one shrimp dish. I had the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Beef with Broccoli. I am not complaining but merely suggesting that they introduce new ones. While they work fast, the staff seemed to be overworked.

Well everyone has a bad day. They forgot something. Not worth driving back to fix it. Double check your orders before you leave

We accidentally called this location instead of the one off 79—a mistake we’ll never repeat. The service was noticeably slower than we’re used to, and the prices were higher than expected. As soon as we sat down to eat, it was painfully obvious this wasn’t the Chinese food we were anticipating. The mushy texture, bland rice, and tiny portions were immediate red flags, and it only got worse from there. Despite its unappealing appearance, the taste was even more disappointing. It didn’t take long for us to realize our error. A quick Google search and a glance at other reviews confirmed our suspicions. We’ll never order from here again.

The service is always very quick in the quality. The food is very tasty. I routinely, frequent this place at least twice a month from the house fried rice to the spring rolls and eggrolls, the vegetable dishes and the beef and broccoli. It’s all very tasty. It always served piping hot and ready when I show up. If you’re in Lake St Louis area, you should absolutely stop by Green China. If you can’t take it home maybe you can take it to the park it’s always gonna be wonderful.

Very small serving size for the prices of the food. Fried rice was overcooked / mushy. Not enough white rice for specialty dishes. Customer Service was not friendly First experience with Chinese food in St Louis and I was not impressed. Coming from a large city with plentiful portions and food that pleasures the palate. I will not be back.

I've been patronizing this business since the early 80's, somewhere during that time frame the owners changed. The father is very rude and disrespectful. But I would always come back. I tried to place an order on the phone and the owner was rude and disrespectful (as usual), so I hung up. I called a few minutes later and the son answered. I proceeded to place my order. I also mentioned how rude the older man was. When I picked up my food there was a thin piece of curly metal in my noodles. I will not be returning.
