Placed an order- combination plate of Garlic chicken and rice with an egg roll. Got home began eating and bit down on a rock. I called to let them know she told me the rice was good? And she didn’t know why there was a rock in my food. The meat in the garlic chicken also taste old I thought I would try this place once more, unfortunately I can no longer eat at this establishment.

This is a hole in the wall, Chinese takeout restaurant. No one comes here for the ambience. I come here for the food and low prices. They have great lunch specials and all day combo plates. The quarts of food are also super. The Kung Pow beef is my goto. A great value!

We now drive to Maple Grove to enjoy P.F. Chang’s menu. We were sad to see the mall at Edina make changes that impacted that location being open. But it is worth the drive. The décor is in lovely oriental style with tables, booths, and bar seating dining options. The Chef’s Feast is a good deal. My mom grew up in China, so being able to order signature Asian, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Mongolian, and Chinese food dishes is important to us. For at least 12 years, the Chicken Lettuce Wraps (wonderful peanut sauce), and Chicken Pad Thai have been among my personal favorites. The veggies are nice and fresh. This time, I ordered the Mongolian Trio, and mom had the Crispy Honey Chicken. Both were excellent, as well as the Egg Drop soup for our starter course. The brown rice was perfectly prepared. The Mongolian Trio had only a few shrimps, some chicken and was mostly beef. While the flavor was excellent, it has a bit of a “pasty” taste if you try warming up left-overs the next day. Seems like too much cornstarch is used in the sauces. The service was great. The potions are of fair size. It is also easy to order online for sushi delivery and also for pick-up. For individuals who have dietary preferences, they have multiple gluten-free and vegetarian entrees on the menu. We’ve been fortunate to gain parking near the door in a free space. You may want to come early during the prime-time dinner hour to get parking. Highly recommend!

I have been to this location twice now and the first time during the day time was amazing! But this last time was very horrible. There was a hair in my soup. Not to mention it is extremely dark in there so if it wasn’t for me using my flash I would have known and would have ate the hair very gross. And the service was very weird, there was a long wait before our server came and it was SLOW like only 3 tables in total. When she did come she was rushing to leave out table and stop talking to us. She messed up our order and walked away before seeing if we would have been okay with the other item of food. She didn’t come over for refill or anything and when I asked her about the hair in my food it seemed like she didn’t care and was like “we can do anything because you have the bundle” the manager was also not any better and basically asked me “what I wanted” because they could give me a discount for having a hair in my soup which again I must remind you is very insanitary. And again she was very short and rushed off. It appears at one point the other co workers were hyping up our server but we weren’t being rude if difficult so it made us feel very weird. The food was ok but the service was bad. I would recommend it’s empty in there for a reason.

I ordered a bigger plate via delivery through the app. The food was delicious but no sauce, not even for teriyaki chicken. I called store and very nice man answered named Pye. He apologized and went out of his way to listen and said he would correct it. I'll definitely order from here again. Thank you Pye.

My last review was not so good bc they let me stand out in the cold and didn't open the door but last Friday I went there and omg I had fresh everything! Plus, the people who helped me were top 10!! Treas, I think 🤔 is his name, he is always so kind and polite that man deserves a raise!!

The service was excellent. I was helped immediately, and my food arrived in 10 minutes or less. It was hot and fresh. They provided napkins, plastic utensils, sweet-and-sour sauce, duck sauce, soy sauce, and everything was nicely packaged. I ordered sesame chicken and cream cheese wontons, and both were delicious. I would highly recommend Hong Kong, and I will certainly be a returning customer.

Real hole in the wall type place. Ordered a few times and the food is always amazing. Delivery and customer service, not so much, but it's authentic American Chinese food. You gotta get: the teriyaki chicken, the hot sesame noodles, the egg rolls, and the general tso's chicken. I think about the teriyaki chicken in my dreams. Seriously so good.

Got some orange chicken and fried rice. I think I just got some brown rice with a few peas in it. The orange chicken breading was awful, as was the sauce it got coated in 1/10. Terrible. I could have spent two more dollars and got hot food from an actual Chinese restaurant.

Most authentic Chinese around. Just don’t get the kung pao chicken after 6pm. They leave it out too long.

3.5/5 stars The restaurant has flourished very well from several years ago, pre-covid and post-covid. Arrived at open time of 11am today, Tues, 01/07/2025. The price was decent for an adult lunch at $16.99+tax. The oven wasn't working yet this morning so they gave a 15% off for everyone (No pizza, bbq pork, or other baked goodsz but I'm okay without it). The food is so much better than several years ago. The flavors of the stir-frys were very well done and not overcooked and looked very great & fresh. The food bars were very clean and maintained constantly. Self serve beverage bar (included in buffet price). The noodle soups were very good- not spectacular but very well done for a buffet. Better than some restaurants. Fruits were very fresh, condiments (pepper, etc.) were good, and clean! Service was excellent compared to before. The servers were very attentive and polite. The noodle bar lady was, eh. She did the *look at you, tossed the noodle in the bowl very abruptly, poured the broth, unhappily set the bowl on the counter for you, and turned away)* type of employee- that appeared to hate their job. But, when I sat down, another person (not Hmong) went for a bowl, she was *happy-go-lucky* and "How are you?" with a huge smile. Mind this, I asked for fish sauce and she looked at me and said in Hmong, "Nyob tos rooj nes!" (At the table), like I've been there yesterday. Rude. Would I go back? Absolutely, if I'm craving a variety of Hmong food. But I won't be nice if you're not nice lady. Tipped my server well because they deserved it.

I like it.. I get so exciting to see Hmong food especially where we lived it’s nothing like here. Prices is fair and love the way it’s self serve..

Ordered delivery through the mobile app and it came fairly quick in less than 30 mins. The quality of the food is pretty good at this location although on my bigger plate, the rice was a bit skimped.

I have ordered twice here, the bigger plate. They got my order wrong. They only had chow mein, none of the other 3 entries. They replaced it but I had to drive to pick up which beats the logic for delivery. And their bigger plate isn’t big. It’s just like the regular order. A bigger plate should have servings for at least 2 people. I’ve ordered at the one in Roseville close to my job and I ate for 2days for my lunch. Let’s say I will not be ordering here anymore. They’re mean with their servings!

We came here for lunch, owners are super nice and sweet towards us. We dine in and ordered a lobster 🦞. The owner was friendly letting us know they have two types of pork. Crispy and glazed. She was speaking 5 languages, so so talented! Recommend for lunch, while we were there we did see a lot of take outs which we have done in the past!

The combo platter was the best thing ever! The duck sauce was thick and sweet, the get on the chicken was perfect, and the BBQ pork was well flavored. The beef tendon was so soft, it melts in your mouth! Con: The skin on the roasted pork was hard. I’ll have to come back next time for seafood. ❤️

I wish they had an option to give 0 stars. My guest and I got food poisoning from eating at this place. They serve your food on styrofoams. The restaurant appeared filthy. The food was taste less. The only thing we tasted was the burnt hot oil. They need to do better.

Like breakfast, I didn't think you could screw up Chinese food. Our experience with their food proved me wrong. The fried rice is more like brown rice with nothing to it (do not pay extra for it). The cheese puffs have zero flavor, except for the oil from the fry. The egg foo young looked like.....and it was not good. The sesame sauce was OK, but not much flavor elsewhere...same with the chow mein. The portions were small and relatively expensive, but it filled us, and that is about all I can say. The 3.9 stars are generous.

The Chin Dynasty with Fried Rice, Bourbon Chicken and Thai Curry Chicken was deeelicious!! The dishes succulently moist (and not dry as in a few other places I have been to), and the seasoning was perfect. The server was professional, efficient, and friendly. The restaurant was highly clean, including the restroom. I recommend this Leann Chin 100%.

Out of all of the Leeann Chin locations that I've been to, Knollwood has always been my go-to location. Why? It's clean, easy to find convenient parking, televisions in the dining area usually tune to sports or the news, and friendly staff. Food quality has almost always been consistent and you get a substantial portion at a fast-food price. I've tried Panda Express and Hy Vee's food court and Leann Chin always comes out on top.

Had an appointment nearby and decided to eat at this Leeann Chin location instead of driving up Route 7 to Knollwood Plaza. Ordered my typical chin dynasty that consists of two (2) 1/2 entrees over fried rice. I got the usual firecracker shrimp and the second option was the sesame chicken. Nothing short of excellent, the store was clean, the food was hot.

Don't recommend the noodles at this location, 3 out of the 5 times I've been here it's tasted like play dough. The rest of the food is good. Service is great.
