Panda Express
I am usually the first person to not complain and just take what I get but I’m sorry this is inexcusable. I paid $9 today for a bowl full of rice and literally four pieces of beef (yes I counted lol). My wife’s bowl had 5 pieces of small chicken (she got the chicken breast and green beans). What a joke. Let me be clear I despise being THAT customer but this is just NOT okay. You can’t expect people to pay $9 for rice. You’re shorting people to cut cost. I’ve worked in fast food and I’ve seen managers tell employees to do shit like this to cut costs. Do better. Definitely won’t be back.
First of all, I posted a review when they first opened and it got deleted. Second, when they first opened, the food was good. ( I order from here often ) now it isn’t the same. They always gave me sweet & sour sauce when it states clearly on my order that I want soy sauce. But today, I ordered 2 orders of spring rolls. When I picked it up and got to my destination to eat there was only 1 order. Went back and the guy at the register tried to tell me there was only 1 order until he looked closer at the receipt, then said sorry and gave me my second order. They didn’t taste very good. It’s not as good as it was and my order is hardly ever right. I’m not sure I’ll ever order from here again.
Ingcredible
I haven't ate at this place in many years. And when I got my food today. It was okay, it wasn't something to brag about. Also my food wasn't really that warm. So i'm not sure if I'll return.
Came in the other week so excited for their crab rangoons only to find they've cheapened the recipe, leaving a subpar product in every way. No reason to ever return unless you bring the originals back, sorry! They were the best part left of House of Ing :(
China Palace Restaurant
I’ve not been very satisfied with the Chinese takeout scene in Lansing but China Palace absolutely redeemed that. This place will be my family’s go to takeout place from now on. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the food was hot. They also have great vegetarian options. We got the Buddha delight with vegetarian fried rice, lo mien, and spring rolls— delicious! The price is fair given the state of the economy. For the two of us we spent about $30-35 dollars. I ain’t mad about it. The location is less than preferable both inside and outside but frankly I don’t care too much given I was in and out very quickly to get my food and go home. We will definitely be back.
Walked in and ordered, food was ready quickly. Went and ate in the car and my bourbon chicken was amazing and the fried rice went perfectly with it.Egg roll was extra crunchy and the filling was great.
Kin Thai
I definitely had high hopes. I was at the Lansing Shuffle for an event and tried the food at this restaurant in the food court. I wanted to love it. The presentation is great. But the Pad Thai wasn't great just a flavor profile I wasn't like any Pad Thai that I'm used to. Also, the Crab Rangoon Nachos were okay. But I think what is needed is more of the plum sauce or whatever that is which makes the dish so ask for extra. After a few bites it just got too creamy and crabby and needed that sauce to cut it. We ended up throwing them away. Regular Crab Rangoon would be better.
I had the Pad Thai and it was actually spicy compared to any place I’ve ever tried in Michigan. Very interesting flavor profile, almost citrusy, but I definitely recommend Kin Thai! I’ll probably stop by another time to try their other dishes as well.
Ingcredible
Good food and super fast as advertised! The chicken i got was labeled spicy, but i think that only applies if you’re polish or german or something… i would give it a 0.5/10 on the spicy meter… literally was sweet and sour chicken. Was GREAT… just …sweet.
We love this place. Over time their meal deals contained 2 ½ spoonfuls of each choice to one scoop of each choice. Though I love the place and the staff, there is not enough "bang for our buck" to eat here.
Panda Express
First time to order from Panda express a chinese place and the food was average. The order came later and some of the sauce was spilled into the bag. The orange chicken was tasty, but all the rest from teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken was really average. 3 stars is more rhan enough for the food and the store.
I love that they have a plant based chicken dish called, "Beyond Chicken." I had just that one dish and I asked for the cheapest portion available for I didn't have much cash. The portion I got was so small, it surprised me. It was delicious. I gave one piece for my friend to try. It was actually satisfying. I tend to have a large appetite. The staff was patient and kind. I will return someday.
Panda Express
I did an online order, there wasn’t a line in the drive through… one person. So when I got up to the speaker… I was told it wasn’t ready. Okay, I’ll just wait in the line. They said I could drive around or come in? I usually just wait my turn in line….so I went inside… waited in the walk in line… explained the situation and they were rude? Said that’s how it works… that they were busy. I totally understand, I waited in both lines to be serviced… they acted like I asked the whole world just to act like I was a walk in? It was just an odd and weird experience? Just put me in the line when you’re servicing WALK INS? Left the same time as someone who was a walk-in? When the manager asked if I was taken care of, employees spoke over me to respond. I totally understand the service industry, and normally I’m not one to complain when it’s fast food. So heads up, just walk in and never mention using their handy app. Also got home and I have 1.5 pieces of meat. Honestly. Changing this review to one star.
🐲Panda Express, with its signature orange chicken and wok-fresh dishes, has become a staple in the fast-food scene. As you step up to the counter, the tantalizing aroma of sizzling sauces and spices fills the air. But how does this beloved chain fare when it comes to taste and quality? Let’s dive into the menu and explore the highs and lows. 🥡🥢 Panda Express nails it with their iconic Orange Chicken. The crispy, tangy bites of battered chicken coated in a sweet and savory orange glaze are addictive. Pair it with steamed white rice for a classic combo that never disappoints. 🍜🍚 In summary, Panda Express delivers consistent flavors, especially with their Orange Chicken and Chow Mein. So next time you’re craving a quick Chinese fix, swing by Panda Express. 🐼
Panda Express
This one was not good. The taste is awful. Stale meat that you can’t chew on… and the hours are NOT ACCURATE. Walking down to eat and have to wait for 60 minutes for food is ridiculous. The staff plainly tell you, “we CAN’t change the hours”. How unfortunate.
The wait for a mobile order is ridiculous. I understand that there is usually a LINE of students waiting to get their food using combos. I went up to the counter and asked for my online order that was marked “completed”. I was RUDELY told I could not get it, and instead had to wait in the 30 minute line. The lady at the register laughed at me asking. Honestly, why allow mobile orders for this store (which specifically say in the app you can “skip the line”) just to have people wait 30mins-1hr. By the time i got through the line, the food wasn’t made yet. Which is fine, it would’ve been cold after waiting so long anyway. The staff was extremely rude though, and I always try to be positive and kind. While they were giving me my box, another girl asked if she could have her order and they just pointed to the back of the line (which was longer than when I got in it). When my food was being made, they barely put anything in there (less than a half scoop of food) and just threw it all together. All in all, the staff is so unkind and unpleasant (which I can understand given the amount of people they serve, i’m sure it’s frustrating.) and this store should NOT allow mobile orders. I am a student at MSU and i will not return. I’ve never left a bad review before but this was an insane experience.
New Rice Kitchen延吉烤串
I have passed this place so many times and tonight I decided I want to try a new place. This food was AMAZING!!!! It is so well seasoned, cooked, and most importantly delicious. For the portion I got (which was pretty big) was definitely worth the price ($11). It doesn’t seem too busy which is sad because this place is well deserving of the food they make and deserves all of the hype!!!! PLEASE consider coming here next time you want something quick for yourself, a gathering, etc. Great place.
The only legit Chinese BBQ place in central Michigan. Ask for their BBQ/skewer menu. I recommend their lamb skewers and Northeast-style dumplings. They serve slowly. Be sure to call to order at least half an hour before you arrive.
Perfect Chinese
Check the quantity in your order. They do not give you the amount of food they advertise. We ordered a quart of orange chicken that cost over $13. It was nowhere near a quart. A quart equals 4 cups. They give you 3 cups worth of chicken and call it a quart (4 cups). They fill the edges with 6 pieces of broccoli to make the tray appear full. When I called, I was told the manager was unavailable and would be called back. They blew me off and didn't call back. They are ripping people off and appear to be okay with it. I would not recommend them to anyone. We will not be back.
Perfect chinese is so far from the truth its unbelievable... If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered shrimp fried rice and egg rolls for lunch and it came out as American yellow rice with peas and chives with shrimp (no Asian seasoning and definitely not fried rice) the egg roll only had cabbage inside and the people that work there were extremely rude. My husband thought he was going to get jumped for asking for duck sauce so he came home without it... I'll never order there again... 30 dollars worth of lunch straight in the garbage!
