El Rancho II
My granddaughter and I both ordered the chicken burrito El grande. They brought us a small bowl of cold chips. We didn't like their salsa, so we asked if they had some queso which she brought. The queso was bland white cheese. It didn't have flavor at all. We were starving so we ate it anyway. When she brought the burritos the presentation was nice with fresh vegetables, guacamole and sour cream. It looked great. Biting into the burrito... it tasted like canned chicken with some beans, honestly I did not taste or smell any spices whatsoever. I ate the vegetables and maybe two bites of the burrito. I'm pretty much of a tightwad so I usually take all of my leftovers home. I didn't even want to take anything home because I knew I never wanted to eat it again. Also I was quite shocked when I got the bill that a small bowl of queso cost $9.50. She told me it was specially made there, but again, it was white bland cheese with no spices, so I can't understand what the recipe would be. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The place was clean.
Waitress was nice and attentive, restaurant was very clean. I think the chicken in my enchiladas was very bland.
