Evergreen Restaurant
I ordered the General Tso’s chicken. The menu said it comes with peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli. It only came with broccoli, and the broccoli was cold. My fiancée said she didn’t like her dish either, the veggies and shrimp were cooked separately from the sauce with the sauce just being added at the end.
The food was amazing. Beautifully plated. We received it pretty quickly. The decor is beautiful. I did see a waitress give her table excellent service, however once we received our food our waitress never checked on us. The other waitress had to give my grandson his straw for his drink because we didn't see ours on the floor once we received our food.
Lucky Kitchen
Employees eating behind counter while packing people's food and in the kitchen while preparing food. Totally against health department and serve safe standards!! Good way to get people such and spread germs!! Neither one of these employees wash their hands before handling customer's food afterwards
Excellent value, always hot and tasty Chinese food. Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. I'm the mood for Chinese, don't hesitate. Our go-to is sesame chicken, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
China Star
DO NOT EAT HERE. This is the most disappointed I have ever been in a Chinese place, truly. The food looks pretty, but in some kind of uncanny valley situation, it literally tastes like nothing. The bourbon chicken? Brilliantly cooked, completely unseasoned. The honey chicken? If I close my eyes and wish really hard, it might have a LaCroix-esque essence of honey, on leathery chicken in bland sauce. An hour after I ate it? Stuck on the can. Eating the leftovers today? Stuck on the can again. Either the kitchen ran out of salt and gave me last week's food, or this is how it always is. I really don't recommend China Star.
Uber eats delivered my food. I ordered honey chicken and I'm allergic to shellfish. I had a shrimp at the bottom of my honey chicken. I had to throw out my food and I used my epipen and went to hospital to be safe! I will NOT be eating at this place again! I know accidents happen but makes me wonder if anyone else has ever had this issue, but never reported it. I will be contacting the health department tomorrow Dec. 2nd to let them know of incident as this is cross contamination and I could've died if I didn't see the shrimp. I don't like giving bad reviews. But I had no choice! If you have shellfish allergy please be careful! Food was very oily tasting!
Wing Fong Restaurant
I’ve ordered the combo for general chicken and crab rangoon and it was very good. It was creamy and crunchy. The staff was friendly and the portions was good. 👍
Absolutely phenomenal food, excellent service and amazing portions
China House
**China House Review** I went to China House, you see, On Monroe Road, in Durand, MI. It isn't much to look at, no, But the food was good, and the staff said hello. On Christmas Eve, we needed a meal, To celebrate my birthday, it was a big deal. Chinese restaurants open on holidays, it's true, And China House was open, just for me and you. We dined in, though it was quite a feat, For the containers were packed with so much to eat. Chicken on top, rice and veggies below, Eating at home, this would be no woe. The locals came in, they knew what was best, China House in Durand, it passed the test. Friendly employees and food galore, We'll be back for more, that's for sure!
Everything was not good at all chicken tasted like it was refried and rice was old and slimey. Lady acted like I was an inconvenience being there. The kitchen was visibly DISGUSTING must I add.
YPBOR F.M 颐宝筵川菜坊
This is really good authentic Chinese food, I don’t know what the people in these other reviews are going on about. The authentic menu is like 2-3 times the size of their American Chinese selection. Service was good, everyone was friendly. Only thing we didn’t like was the fried rice. Flavor was fine, but had bean sprouts in it which was unexpected. Will be coming back often!
Our experience was fabulous! We were seated pretty much as soon as we came in. Clean tables and environment. Was served our orders at a decent time. Food was phenomenal. We ordered chicken fried rice, veggie lo mein, beer-flavored duck, general tso chicken, black peppered beef! Everything came out delicious. Must try!
China Palace Restaurant
Wow!! The China Palace restaurant is truly spectacular; and the ambience feels very royal. The buffet is very impressive, and I ate an assortment of fresh sushi, shrimp, clams, mussels, blue crab, fish, salmon, egg, drop soup, and many other enjoyable entrées. The squid was also quite delightful. Overall, this is by far the most gourmet Chinese buffet restaurant that I have eaten at in the state of Michigan, and it rivals the best of the best and culinary arts that I have frequently encounter in Washington DC. If you have a hankering for some really good Chinese food, I recommend coming to this China Palace restaurant. I drove 120 miles each way, and it was very worth it!
“My friends and I went to China Place restaurant for dinner, but upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that all the food was gone, with no refills available. Despite asking twice for a refill , our requests were completely ignored. Given this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone—don’t waste your money
Panda Express
They gave me a normal amount of fried rice with an upcharge for the shrimp, which they did not give a heads up ahead of time. Fried rice was also flavorless, but I guess that is to be expected. The employees were nice at least.
Decent flavor, hardly any meat at all. They showed up 20 mins early and i got caught by my boss walking out to meet the delivery driver when i was supposed to be working.
Panda Express
Overall, it was a great experience!! I travel a lot, literally. The customer service at this location has actually been the best thus far !! I went in before closing last night, and the order was absolutely great. Very nice portions and the staff was fantastic... even at the close of business night !! Meaning they didn't rush me, but took their time and listened to the customer... which shows their decorum. I will be a frequent customer at this establishment from now on!! I want to say, Thank you, Carley / Gabby /Trent & The amazing Panda Express Team!!
Visiting from Ohio. This is the first time I've had Panda Express. Absolutely delicious! I had orange chicken - was not soggy like I'm used to. Very crispy and fresh chicken! I also had the honey walnut shrimp - divine! I could not get enough! I had a side of lo mein noodles. Also fantastic - great flavor. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and prompt. Awesome experience. 👌🏻🐼
China Wok
So... this place is really good. Food is amazing. Price is good. Amount is normal for a Chinese place (a lot). My only real gripe is that i order happy family. I only ever get 1 scallop and 2 shrimp. NEVER MORE. NEVER LESS. Wtf? Why? I get loads of chicken beef and pork.... but 2 shrimp 1 scallop.... wierd. I want more. I'm willing to pay if it's the price.
Good food. Small portions
China 1
I got the General Tso's chicken lunch special. The chicken itself was very flavorful with good breading technique. The chicken fried rice had good flavor as well and was NOT dried out at all. The egg roll had a nice crisp, and the inside was fresh and NOT soggy at all. The sweet and sour sauce had amazing flavor and was a big surprise because most sweet and sour sauce taste similar, but this had a unique, better, fresher flavor. I think it may have had real lemon juice or something similar. Their buffet is no longer operating. They informed me that they have tried to have Google update their buffet status, but for some reason, their listing keeps reverting back to showing their buffet is still open. I highly recommend this place.
We buy from here regularly for years now. But every Thanksgiving we get a little bit of everything our family loves. They are consistent, delicious, and large portions. They have never disappointed. Highly recommend the Mongolian chicken but ask for spicy if you like some heat. Also their chicken lo mein is Sons favorite with some sweet and sour chicken. Crab ragoons are always crispy and never greasy like other places. We live 30 minutes from them but always worth the drive.
Panda Chinese Restaurant
Solid, historical Chinese take out in Cedar Springs. Cash only. Don't dine in. Fast service. I'm usually getting crab rangoon, egg roll, orange chicken, and shrimp lo mein. Large portion sizes. They know what they're doing. Classic Chinese take out. Nothing more to it.
We ordered this for dinner and couldn't be happier! The two hard working people that served us were very kind and polite, as well as timely with food we ordered. The portions were very fair to the price charged and most of all the food tasted great! Very clean and fresh flavors and well worth it!
