Ordered takeout on 1/6/25. Very pleasant on the phone and in person when picked up. Hands down the BEST Hot and Sour soup we have ever had. They will make spice levels on the soup too. Everything we ordered was amazing. The Almond boneless chicken was perfect and the gravy was superb. Also ordered Vegable Moo Shu which was also the best we ever had from any Chinese restaurant in Macomb County. Crunchy vegetables and very tasty. Will 100% order again and looking forward to it.

I'm seeing some negative reviews however we thought it was good! My order was taken by a really pleasant man who said it would be ready in 10 minutes! I teased him that I would barely get out the door because it was so fast! We had General Tsau chicken, crab ragoons, orange chicken, and cashew chicken combo meals. The portions were large and we shared between three hungry adults. There is definitely another whole dinner for all three of us for tomorrow. The egg rolls and fried rice were good as well. The order was ready easily within 10 minutes and we were pleasantly greeted upon arrival for pick up. So I'm not sure why the negative reviews! I liked it! I don't not often, leave a bad review. I'd much rather not leave a review and forget about the place. I ordered VIA doordash, so I can't not complain about temp. It was actually pretty hot given it's coming via doordash. The quality of the food is absolutely horrendous. I ordered the following - Crab Ragoons - Fried dumplings - Sesame chicken /w Shrimp Fried Rice - Sweet & Sour Chicken w/ shrimp fried rice Crab Ragoons was filled with ONLY cream Cheese and the Deep Fried shell was VERY stale and reheated Both my combo platters DID NOT come with the Shrimp Fried rice I paid extra for. Zero Shrimp and a few chicken chunks Sweet and sour sauce seemed a little... Off. In color, taste and texture. The only thing that was good, was the Fried Dumplings. Everyone has their personal preference and experience. This was mine. Good luck to you all that do eat it, but I didn't finish and will never have it again.

The food was probably the worst food I've ever ordered from a restaurant. It tasted completely wrong. My husband and I both did not like it at all. The rice had a strange taste. The chicken was so dry on the inside. I do not recommend eating here. Peking Kitchen in Kimball is way better if you want to drive a little.

I've been here multiple times and it's not a terrible place but could be better. There is a large variety of food on the buffet but some of it is not always very hot. The service isn't bad. The staff is friendly enough for the time you interact with them. The place just seems dark inside and not always has the appearance of being the cleanest place. For the price it could use with some updates and improvements.

Tried this place for the first time today before work. I got to go food, Total cost was $16. Their buffet had no selection, Lots of food like old and dry, Barely any food at all. Very little options of anything. Once I ate the food; It was nasty and had poor flavor, Seemed very rubbery, The broccoli I had had a bunch of very hard plastic pieces in it. The overall inside of the restaurant appearance is old, nasty and disgusting. Does not look like it’s been properly cleaned in decades. Unfortunately, the cashiers had no idea. I was waiting to check out because they were too busy talking with their friends. Overall, I would stay away from this restaurant. Not good food, Bad (slow) service, Not clean, No food selection. This might be the worst buffet I’ve ever been, In the history of bad buffets.

This place looks super run down and doesn't have great up keep. The lights on the sign are burned out, booth seats are crackes, bathroom doesnt seem to be taken care of either. The service and all the employees are very nice. Always friendly! My opinion about the food, I absolutely love the fresh raw food that's available to grill. All the buffet items seem like they sit under the heat lamps all day. I think with the right amount of up keep and proper management, this place could be the best!

Place was busy and the food was pretty fresh most of it was pretty good some noticeable mentions were the coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon and the sushi 🍣 The service was good she hustled kept my drink filled the place is slightly rundown but looked clean for 2 of us on a.friday night with 2 drinks the bill was 32.00 not bad.

I only gave a 3 for atmosphere because my husband goes in to pick up our food so I can't really say, but am I missing something about Mongolian beef? I asked for no onions, and my dish basically came with half onions, 1/4 other veggies (those of which I don't mind) and 1/4 beef. 13.95 for a bunch of crap I had to throw away because I hate onions. Egg rolls and rice are good, and I do like the sesame chicken. So it's a 2 for that. 5 for service because my husband said the worker was very nice. But I can't justify Mongolian BEEF only having about 1/4 beef, sorry.

The restaurant is set up a little odd, with most of the place cordoned off. Upon walking in it smells of old, rancid oil... and all of the food ended up tasting of that exact smell. It was likened to oil from great grandma's attic. My son had no qualms with the food, but he is a gross 10 year old 🤣 The service was excellent and the worker was super sweet/polite. The food was prepared very quickly.

I ordered the chow mein through DoorDash but received something completely different. I called the restaurant and was told that I got what I ordered. Either they don’t know what chow mein is or they gave me the wrong thing. I mean, why would noodles come with white rice if I got the chow mein? My wife ordered the pad thai. It’s super bland and has an aftertaste of fish sauce. We will not be eating from here again. I’ll be sticking to real Chinese food at Wei Wei palace.

My family has been coming here for 25 years I believe. Me and the boys stop by and eat all the time. For 8-10 bucks at lunch with a drink can’t be beat for price. Like 12 at dinner. Plus the guy who runs it is super nice. Never had any issues. Love this place. And if the owner is reading this, this is the big dude who stops in with his buddies all the time. The Almond Boneless Chicken is fantastic! I haven't seen it in any restaurants since I moved to the west side of Michigan, so glad I decided to stop in today!

Very nice people. I ordered two different meals and dumplings. All of my food was extremely good. The price is good for the quality too. I was very happy with this place and will be returning!

I’ve gone here multiple times throughout the last year! The wait for food can be long but it’s becuase there’s so many pickup and to go orders coming in! I would recommend doing delivery or pickup once ready so you don’t have to wait! The food has always always been great and the portions for price are fair!

First off, super thankful for restaurant and staff being open on Christmas. With that being said, the food was utterly disgusting. Shrimp fried rice had pre cooked frozen shrimp, possibly half a carrot and 4 peas in total for vegetables. Chicken Lo mein had soggy noodles that you can tell were cooked long long before the order and chicken tasted old and full of fat. would hate to imagine if tried a sushi roll…

The lunch buffet is a good price. Might wanna catch them at the right time so the food hasn't sat for long. The staff is super nice. Visit steel rose forge for a Blacksmith class to burn the MSG off!!!!

This place has fallen off so bad, haven't had a good meal in the last 4 times I've tried. Chicken is always overcooked and this last time didn't relieve a specifically ordered sauce. I've eaten from this place for years and won't be coming back. Do better.

I drive all the way from flint to pick up their food for my son. This is his favorite restaurant and without a doubt the best overall quality we can get. The portion sizes are great when compared to the price! The employees are always friendly, even on a busy Friday/Saturday night. The food is hot and always fresh. I highly recommend them and have been eating here since 1999!

I am disgusted. I started with the barbecue pork, it was salty and dry and I’m sure by the way that it tasted it is old. Definitely not what I am used to when it comes to BBQ pork from a Chinese restaurant. The second thing I tried was a crab rangoon and this is the only thing that I would ever purchase again from this restaurant. Then I tried the house special fried rice. I’m pretty sure the pork in this is the same barbecue pork that I didn’t like to begin with. I’m grossed out about these pieces of chicken skin masquerading as chicken. I was disgusted when I bit into it and discovered that it is actually the chicken skin (See photos). And next everyone’s favorite, eggrolls. Inside of the eggroll is grayish in color, not fresh veggies. As you can see in the pictures, they are so greasy I feel like they were just sat in a pan of grease under a hot lamp. I spent $30 even and could only stomach the 4 crab rangoon.

They shut down the dining in and have carryout only. Almond boneless chicken was good, shrimp rings were great. Only gave them a 4 star rating due to the pork fried rice, wasn't much than just brown rice with a couple tiny pieces of pork . Wonton was also good. I ordered 5 dinners and 2 quarts of soup. They had it ready in 15 minutes and the order wasn't missing anything, prices were also reasonable.

Food was disgusting. Unedible. Hard, dry, no flavor. I was honestly afraid to eat it. Don’t recommend. Don’t waste your money. They wouldn’t refund us either and we just threw it in the garbage. Yuck.
