Siam Spicy II
Ordered Spring Rolls, fried wontons, Pad see ew and Rice chicken Soup. Amazingly quick service. Great service. And food was super delicious. Would recommend all the above food. Chicken rice soup was super yummy and hot and spicy for the cold weather.
First time here. The food was delicious and the size of the portion was also good. I liked everything about what I ordered but I would probably suggest adding a bit of spices to the beef as the beef was a bit tasteless itself but with the noodles was fine. The lady that was taking orders was very nice. I recommend this place and if I’m around the area I’ll go back.
Mala Land
Pretty basic set up. I personally didn’t care for the soup. Flavor was off. Selection was fresh. Popcorn chicken was amazing! Just personal preference. Would I come here again? Probably not.
Very unique experience. You get to pick out your own ingredients and choose from soup based or stir fry. We ordered 1 stir fry and 1 soup version of the entree. Stir fry was good alternate if you don’t want soup. But, the soup is very good. They have different spice levels to choose from. Mild could be hot for some, just heads up. They also use a lot of szechuan peppercorn in noodles and soup. So if you never had them, might be a different experience for you. But, we liked the flavor! Also don’t skip out on the popcorn chicken! The batter was very good, nice and crispy! Definitely must order. Would recommend to come and check out!
Soora Korean Restaurant
Amazing Korean food! The flavors are very authentic and the service is fantastic! I will definitely be back. Most menu items include spicy flavors and pork, but there are still other options if you don’t like spice or pork. Cannot stress enough how fantastic the service is!
Review of Soora Restaurant I decided to visit Soora Restaurant after hearing great things about it online. Since it’s known as a popular spot, I was excited to try it out. I went around 4 PM, and the restaurant was pretty quiet at that time. Parking was spacious, so finding a spot wasn’t an issue. First Impressions When I walked in, the restaurant had a very old-school feel to it. It wasn’t dirty, but it definitely looked a bit worn out. The tables, chairs, and even the carpet on the floor all felt dated. These days, there are so many modern and well-decorated restaurants that this place felt a bit plain in comparison. It didn’t give off a particularly cozy or stylish atmosphere, which was a little disappointing. The Food I ordered four dishes: Tangsu-yuk (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork) Gan-jjajang (Black Bean Noodles with Stir-Fried Sauce) Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) Yangnyeom Chicken (Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken) Side Dishes (Banchan) Before the main dishes arrived, they served four types of side dishes, and I have to say—they were all delicious! They were so good that my expectations for the main meal went up even higher. Gan-jjajang (Black Bean Noodles) This dish had a rich, smoky flavor with a sauce made from onions, zucchini, and meat. The wok-fried aroma was strong, and it tasted amazing. After trying it, I immediately understood why so many people recommend it. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal! Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) The jjamppong also had a smoky flavor, but the broth itself was a bit bland. It wasn’t terrible, but it lacked depth. Adding extra salt wouldn’t have improved it, as it felt like the seasoning itself was just weak. Compared to the jjajangmyeon, this dish was underwhelming. Yangnyeom Chicken (Korean-Style Fried Chicken) The sauce was classic Korean-style—sweet, spicy, and flavorful. One thing to note is that they only serve drumsticks and wings. I personally didn’t mind, but my family was a bit disappointed that there weren’t other cuts of chicken. If you prefer a variety of chicken parts, keep that in mind. Tangsu-yuk (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork) - The Star of the Meal! The best dish of the entire meal was definitely the tangsu-yuk. If I ever come back, it would be for this dish alone! The pork was perfectly crispy, and there was no strange smell or greasiness from the meat. It was simply delicious. However, I did find the sauce to be a bit too thin and watery. I usually prefer a slightly thicker, stickier sauce, but after eating more, I got used to it. It was just a different style than I expected. Final Thoughts Overall, I enjoyed the food, and the staff was very friendly and kind. However, the restaurant’s atmosphere was lacking, and some of the dishes had minor flaws. The gan-jjajang was fantastic, and the tangsu-yuk was absolutely amazing—I would return just for that. The jjamppong, on the other hand, was disappointing, and while the yangnyeom chicken was good, the limited cuts of chicken might not be for everyone. Would I come back? Yes, but mainly for the tangsu-yuk! If you’re planning to visit, I definitely recommend trying it.
Gift of India Restaurant
I visited Gift of India and tried some snacks along with coffee and tea. The taste was average, but what really stood out was the poor atmosphere. The ambiance didn’t feel inviting at all — it actually made me hesitant to eat there. The food containers weren’t clean, which gave the impression that the food might not be fresh. Despite that, I still went ahead and tried the snacks, and they turned out slightly better than expected. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of taste, presentation, and overall cleanliness.
Good Indian restaurant at Farmington Hills. Large vegetarian menu is available. Two parts of the restaurant. One serves fast food like pizza burgers, rolls while the other serves traditional Indian food. Other restaurants have good seating area. We ordered pizza and it was good. Overall experience is satisfactory
BD's Mongolian Grill
I love eating here. The restaurant was very clean and organized. The staff kept the food prepped and ready for everyone. The cookers were very nice and cooked everything perfectly. This was definitely a 10/10 for me. Can’t wait to come back.
This was a bit of a drive for us. The BD's in Dearborn closed down so now we have to drive to Canton. Good experience though. Better than Dearborn. They were staffed well and everyone was pleasant. We were bummed to hear about the "no eggs" due to Bird Flu outbreaks. That's not their fault though. Their heater isn't working right now so be prepared.
BANGKOK FLAVOR 2
Amazing food, been going here for a while and never ran into any issues. **UNLESS YOU HAVE SOUTH ASIAN LEVEL SPICE TOLERANCE STICK WITH MILD** Very spicy and good, but white people taste buds be warned 😁(picture is half eaten, servings are huge)
I have been coming to this restaurant for years. Supporting them. Today I took a friend for lunch came inside a young lady was at the back table folding bags and didn't greet us. We sat down when the owner or manager came out on the phone and when off of the phone began filling ordersand never acknowledged us. When I asked if they could help he threw his pin down and I asked if there was an issue he again sighed. We got up and left he said fine you can leave. I've interacted with this man in several occasions supporting his establishment. Never Again! Phone number was removed from my phone after years. Hopefully you get better service. If you decide to go.
China House
I ordered from China House late at night, as it was the only place open, and decided to try it for the first time. They serve halal food, which is a plus. The place is small, with only a few booths for dining in, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot. I ordered the Singapore noodles, but they were just okay—nothing exceptional. They didn’t stand out as particularly memorable. However, the service was great. I placed my order right before closing, and they were kind enough to wait for me to pick up my food, which I really appreciated. Parking is convenient, right in front of the restaurant. Overall, it’s a solid option for late-night cravings, though the food could use some improvement.
Very good Chinese food in Canton. Some of their dishes are really exceptional eg. Their General Tso’s chicken. The crispiness of the chicken stands out, I asked for the sauce to be more spicy and less sweet and I was just floored by it. Makes an excellent pairing with the noodles, my preference over rice that day. Must have while your in Canton. Their hot and sour chicken and Singaporean noodles are also really good. As a side note they are Halal also, for folks who care.
Chin Express
New Management, so disregard old negative reviews from before 2025. Dumplings here are the BEST and I highly recommend trying them pan fried. Food is very authentic to classic Chinese preparation. If you want to try their bao, call and order ahead as it takes time to prepare. Ownership is kind and accommodating and you can hear them working hard in the kitchen!
Everything was amazing but the dumplings were the best! I highly recommend calling ahead because the food is made fresh to order and it takes some time to add that much love! The staff was kind and it really reflected in the food!
Big Moe's Kitchen - Canton
First time eating at this establishment and I discovered it only by coincidence of trying to find an open restaurant on Christmas Eve and I was 100% satisfied and happy with the whole entire experience. Service was above and beyond. Very nice and professional. Food was out of this world excellent. Will definitely be coming back for more! Very clean and good atmosphere also.
I’ve been Rocking with Big Moe’s since his first location in Wayne in the gas station and man has the place come a Long Way! Food Always fresh always tasty and a menu that can satisfy everyone! I highly recommend Big Moe’s You cannot go wrong! When you hungry n can’t decide or just don’t know…. Just hit up big Moe’s!
LA Coney Restaurant
This is just half of my corned beef sandwich from last night. My other half of the sandwich that I ate last night didn't have mustard really. The bread is so soggy that is falling apart.
I was sad to see the Albanian omelette contain so much pork 😭 as an Albanian Muslim, I’m always trying to support my people in their businesses. I ended up ordering something completely different. It was delicious regardless.. I’ll be back again.
Rafic's Falafel
First time trying Rafics after seeing a lot of people posting about how good their food is. Let the place setup not fool you. They have a great variety of food. I loved their Mix Grill and their staff are friendly and very helpful. Their sauces are delicious. Keep up the great work.
Rafic’s Falafel is hands down the best spot for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine! Their falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor in every bite. The tahini sauce is heavenly, and the fresh pita bread ties everything together beautifully. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick takeout, Rafic’s never disappoints. If you’re a falafel lover, this place is a must-try!
Bangkok Express Cafe
I recently made my first visit back to Bangkok Express in quite some time, and it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane! This place used to be one of my go-to spots to take my Aunt Bertha in between her doctor visits and physical therapy sessions, and it holds a special place in my heart as we approach a year since her transition. We always ordered the sweet-and-sour shrimp (no heat), adding extra onions and shrimp for that burst of flavor! Walking into the restaurant, I noticed they’re still operating with the COVID-style wrap and cover, so there's no dining in anymore, which was a bit disappointing. However, the warm welcome from the family that runs the place made up for it. They were incredibly friendly, and it felt great to see familiar faces. The food was just as delicious as I remembered! While chatting with a couple who were visiting for the first time, I was happy to share my recommendations. I’m glad I could provide them with an accurate review based on my past experiences. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Bangkok Express, and I look forward to returning again soon. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for tasty Thai food and a friendly atmosphere!
First time stopping here. I usually get Drunken Noodles but asked for something similar. She recommended a different but similar dish that was excellent! Good portions, fresh and great customer service.
