Our takeout order was hot, fresh, and delicious. Generals chicken with white rice and an egg roll and Generals chicken with brown rice and an egg roll.

I placed my order over phone when I got there the lady told me I never spoke to her. She lied directly to my face because I remembered her voice. I then placed my order at the counter and waited. Food came back and smelt burnt and tasted burnt. How do you mess up rice at a chinese place? you get what you pay for here

First time trying this place for take out. The food was not great. The chicken fingers were over cooked (almost as if they were refried), the lo mein noodles were overcooked so they were soggy and just disintegrating in your mouth, the fried rice was decent and the dumplings were good. It was a lot of money to throw away so much food. We won’t be returning.

The first time I ordered Orange chicken and I thought maybe it was an “off” day because the chicken texture was tough and dry like old or recooked chicken. Almost not being able to tell The breading and the meat apart….i I gave benefit of the doubt and ordered same dish a second time, a week or two later and sadly it was consistent with the first order. Rice is okay. Spring roll was slimy on the inside. I really Wanted to like this place seeing that it’s the closest Chinese food restaurant for 15 minutes distance.

Neat and clean little place, operated by a charming couple. Ordered egg foo yung, pork fried rice, chicken wings, and egg rolls. Everything was yummy, hot, and fresh. The wings are a bit smallish, but great tasting, and you can order them with no batter. Highly recommend.

They left a broken stick in my beef teriyaki. No surprise it broke, 3x too thick. Was surprised to bite it. No knife skills, no ethics. It's OK food if you're drunk, but get ready for bungee traps

Great place to come for a quick bite friendly service if there is no food that you like they will make it fresh and give it to you I would say food taste good and delicious and hot

Julia - Customer service was fast, friendly and easy to talk to about food choices. She did not make me feel pressured and offered suggestions about the choices offered. Although I might not eat there at the 10:30 open time, I am sure to swing by and grab a bite once again. Because if this, I might try their othet locations as well.

not the best. Everything tasted pretty bland unfortunately. It is very cheap and you get a lot of food for the price which is great but I prefer china wonder or places in the mall. The rangoons are just sort of sour cream cheese. Orange chicken more sour than sweet, the fried rice was good. Overall id recommend this place if youre looking for a lot of food cheap but not if you want good chinese.

I love chinese food so much but Jade has it down when it comes to the dishes portions are always spot on and price is always right. Please come down they always cook everything super fresh for you.

This was the worst food I have ever had, the chicken fingers must have been two or three days old. I got this thru door dash against my better judgement, I could not eat the food cost me 30 dollars. I don't think I'll be able to eat for the rest of the day. Even the smell is bad

Though as small place the food was delicious. We have been to places from Townsend to Shirley and more. The beat all. Great portions and reasonable price. I will go back every day if I could. Try them.

I wasn't gonna order there because there delivery driver hit my truck while it was parked at my house and then drove away my neibor watched him and told me he then came back and didn't say nothing I call him out on it and he completely tried to lie about it but only reason. I did order was because some losers left there menus on my truck and in my yard and I figured hey heard they got new owners why not give not a shot but the beef lo mein was so nasty huge onions no flavor so gross the meat if u can even call it that was just chewy couldnt even get apart it's like rubber thinks it's that fake plant meat not real or grown in a lab or something like wth the rice and beef and broccoli gross again not real meat and no flavor or sauce to put on rice I got egg rolls but I didn't even bother to try cause I'm assuming they will be gross too don't know how anyone could say anything thing from here is delicious guess there delusional really should get new owners again or they should switch up who they buy from and get different noodles and meat cause what they have now sucks ass

I grew up on South street in Athol and have always been able to rely on this Chinese place. Unfortunately, with the new ownership, this has changed. The beef and broccoli sauce had absolutely no flavor and the texture of the beef was completely off. The food wasn’t good at all and I am so disappointed that I gave this place another chance. Save your money, get food from somewhere else.

I don't go here for the atmosphere. It's a pick up and go home kind of joint. I've been coming here since my Fitchburg State days in the 90's. I moved to Leominster recently and Jade is still consistent and inexpensive. I hope they never go anywhere!

General Tso's chicken was delicious. Extra large serving size filled the whole takeout container. A definite 👍.

Just tried for the first time and got a 24, general Tso's chicken with spare ribs and fried rice. It was pretty good! Service was quick and easy.

Great for takeout, service is always fast, food is hot, servings are generous. The chicken fried rice is fantastic. Chicken fingers are huge, and actually have decent chicken in them, not the small little types that have a thinner, darker batter that tastes like burnt oil. Wings are always good size, too!

Don't waste your hard earned money here. Not only did the order not come correct and they charged us extra for things we didn't get or didn't even ask for. The food is so bland. The rice is awful. No flavor at all. Might as well just eat white rice. The crab Rangoon filling isn't terrible but the dough is gross and not cooked right and there is like a teaspoon of filling in them. The ribs dry and again not flavorful. General tso's wasn't terrible either. Beef lo mein, also flavorless. We will never go back here. What a waste of money and a huge disappointment. Either don't get Chinese or go out of town. Would be nice if Winchendon had another option for Chinese. My guess if they are even a tad better than Freinds Garden would put them out of business. I am really not sure how anyone enjoys this Chinese food?! I'd rather give a zero rating but guess I have to choose something

Ever since they moved to a separate delivery system my food has arrived wrong, cold and usually late. The delivery company is rude, doesn't care if you're food is wrong and is incredibly non committal about your purchase. They apparently can't read sigg age either for apartment complexes. I guess finding the first unit is beyond the new delivery drivers. Now, I've ordered here for almost 28 years, but this experience was such a sour event I felt the need to leave this. The "manager" I spoke to on the phone was the same customer representative I was already speaking with. Said he'd grab his manager, and then cleared his throat and had a conversation with this next door office mate by saying how he put me "on mute" to "find" a manager. Then presumed to pretend to be a manager on the call; promising to be more careful next time. Never ordering again after that appalling experience. I'll just go to sawa instead and pick it up myself.
