Really liked this place. I'd say it's an elevated more classy version of a regular Chinese Buffet. You get 2 buffet price options, $58 vs $78. Depending on what your preference for drinks verses the unlimited menu food options will help you decide. It's a good variety of food out on the buffet with sushi options as well. The food on the menu where you order with the waiter to me could've been more seasoned but everything was overall good. Come hungry so you can get your money's worth! Nice atmosphere and service too!

The food was not good at all the steak was good everything else not so good everything was cold except the soda Alan was our server he’s so nice gave us good service wish the food was better buffet food was not good either our whole party we came with didn’t even leave the restaurant yet and we were running to bathroom 😩

my first time coming here and it won't be my last.this is a small place thats big in hospitality and delicious food. I had the jalapeno yellowtail and it was the best I've ever had.we also had the fried oyster crispy crust and moist and flavorful inside.everything my party ordered was delicious and to top it off the owner gave us a complimentary bottle of sake to take home.

First time at Liki and saw some good reviews so I had to give it a try. It’s a small cozy place in Amityville. The food was great from appetizer to dessert. Prices were very reasonable. Calamari was large and crispy. Salad was crunchy. The sushi was great. Tasted fresh and all the food was prompt. Highlight of the night was the orange chicken. Absolute best orange chicken I’ve ever had. And I love Asian cuisine. This is a great choice if your interested in sushi and or Asian cuisine. Will definitely be coming back!

Take out experience: The food was pretty delicious 🤌🏻 Neptune’s platter and General Tso’s were great! Highly recommend! One thing was a bit confusing though — prices. First of all, they’re different offline and online, which is not the best practice. Second, they’ve charged couple bucks more for no reason 🤔 Resume: go in person, enjoy the food and keep an eye on the bill 💸

I came in for dinner with my boyfriend and they had a great happy hour menu from 5pm-7pm at the tables and just learned that at the bar the happy hour is ALL DAY! Will definitely be coming back for that deal next time. It had a bunch of rolls , drinks and hot foods for under $10 which is amazing. The food was delicious and the rolls were fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for more. Yum yum yum 😋

We heard about their special in honor of their anniversary and decided to give it a try. We ordered veggie spring rolls, dumplings, a curry dish and vegetable coconut rice dish. SOOOO GOOD!!! My only regret is not going to this place sooner. Super friendly service and everything we got was perfectly seasoned and we could tell it was fresh and made to order. Compliments all around. Can’t wait to try more. Should’ve gotten the coconut cake!!!

I loved the family owned restaurant. The waitress was super friendly and always helped with our requests promptly. Additionally, I really liked my Pad Se Ew with the chicken. Reminded me a bit of chicken w.broccoli

Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday and we were sat right away. The place is very clean and tidy, but nothing exceptional on the eyes in terms of ambiance. The real star of the show is definitely their lunch specials though. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Pepper Noodles, both with chicken. A perfect sized portion for lunch that comes with a drink and is only about ten bucks a person is about one of the best deals that you can find around these days. Deal proposition aside, the food is also delicious, I was craving a second bowl of noodles after the first and already had me thinking about what I was going to order the next time I come back. Would have liked if the waitress checked in on us a little bit more, especially since we were the only two in the place at the time! But we were still well taken care of at the end of the day and she was very polite. Parking can be a little tricky being right on Wellwood, you can park along the street, but I'd recommend veering off to the side streets for one of the municipal lots or parking just on a less busy street.

My friend was in the mood for an Indian, chicken and rice dish. There's no Indian restaurants near us so I suggested we find a Thai place. We decided on Thai Basil Lindenhurst. Food: We ordered the curry samosas, and vegetables chicken dumplings as an appetizer. The chicken and vegetable dumplings were delicious. The veggies gave them a nice crunch and the chicken was seasoned well. The coating on the samosas was too airy. You could tell they weren't homemade. The filling was lacking potato. The samosas were the only food i wasn't crazy about. I ordered the Garlic Chicken entree. The spice was perfect. Decent amount of chicken. I don't like mushrooms, but whatever they did to cook them dried them out a bit and made them slightly chewy, but in a good way. I enjoyed them. A lot of bamboo shoots. I mixed my rice in and it made it even better. Service: The service was okay. The staff was friendly. Food came out fast and correct, but we had to call someone over for a water refill and for the check. If we didn't we would've been there a while. Otherwise, no issues. Atmosphere: The restaurant was quiet, but kinda boring. There's a lot of space and it looks clean. Its just kinda empty. They could do more to decorate and it would go a long way. Overall, I definitely want to try more dishes and I'm looking forward to coming back

Love coming to this spot !! Good foods

The RANCID taste you notice is from the toxic vegetable oils IE seed oils that every restaurant is using these days for cooking. They need to return to healthy animal fats made by nature and not the artificial fats made by man using chemicals and chemical processes. The cats out of the bag now. We were all lied too about healthy saturated fats. These man made vegetable and seed oils are causing the obesity, as well as diabetes, cancers, and heart diseases. The studies and graph results conclusively showed the timelines parallel the increase in these fake oils and ailments. Fast food and all restaurants are slowing harming us. But it is not their fault. People need to start informing them. Spread the word.

We visited today and will again this holiday season. Staff was attentive and frequent our table to make sure we were content. Spacious and clean seating area. Love the walls. Clean bathroom The food was delicious

I came here for the lunch special and it was a high-end, fancy experience. Each course was amazing- I got the miso soup, salmon carpaccio, sashimi, mochi. Quality of the sashimi and raw fish courses were fresh and the flavors complemented each other very well. The food was delicious and quantity was not overwhelming for each course. The ambiance was very nice and relaxed. Would definitely recommend a visit here for a special occasion!

Cute quaint place! So many menu options that I can't wait to try. The Mee Ga-Thi was my favorite with fresh noodles in a delsih sauce. Basil duck was seasoned so good and tender as well as the basil chicken. Food was fresh, warm, and so so tasty. I look forward to coming back and trying more items. Our group of 3 loved it so much, thank you for your food!

I’ve been going here since it opened. The food is always exceptional. Vegetables taste fresh and crisp not soggy. Everything is cooked well. The food is not greasy which is hard to find with alot of take out Chinese restaurants. Some of their dishes I actually crave they’re so good (both Thai and Chinese menu). Sauces are always excellent. Hope all the best for oakdale pad Thai and Chinese.

I live 3 blocks away. Its my go to place for Chinese-Japanese food. I always get delivery and its always hot and ready to go. Their Pad Thai and Gen. Chaos is best Ive ever had. The sushi is top notch and the avacado salad is to die for. Great place.

Went here for dinner tonight. The place is pretty nice and the food is good but the waiter he is a Spanish guy is a horrible waiter. He spoke to us pretty rude and his answers to the question was like he couldn’t be bothered. I was so pissed off at this guy with his attitude. He should not be a waiter and not even work at this place. Honestly my brother in law wanted to leave but we really wanted to eat there. We asked to change the waiter which was a little better but not great. The pictures on the menu are apparently not what they serve. That is confusing to me but it is what it is. My bill was $70 and his tip was a great $3. You’re lucky I even tipped you. If you go and you get the Spanish waiter just do yourself a favor and ask for one of the Asian waiters.

Finally found the Best Chinese food aka ( Asian Gourmet) on Long Island. The sign outside does say Chinese food but as seen on the menu it clearly states its true roots. ASIAN GOURMET The food here is absolutely delicious. The sesame chicken was the best I’ve ever had. It was light and crispy, so flavorful with its delicate sauce. Nothing like every other Chinese food you’ve ever eaten. The dumplings are homemade here and they are outstanding. I highly recommended you make a special trip to try the food here. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Ordered for Christmas Eve dinner. I had Happy Family. Had it many times from other restaurants. Very little chicken, beef and only two shrimp. Mostly vegetables and fake crab meat pieces. For $18. I was very disappointed. Seasons Chinese restaurant in Deer Park gives much more meat, and five jumbo shrimp for $15. I guess south shore rents are high. $12 for a quart of fried rice. Would not mind the price if the food was great. $165 dollars and only two bags of noodles included! Will be driving to Deer Park next time.

Greatest little place, owned by the sweetest most authentic Japanese couple. Best sushi I have ever had, incredibly fresh, simply delighted to be handed hot steam towels to clean my hands and face before eating, loved the experience, great choices- can’t wait to go back. Don’t let the tiny facade fool you- you are walking into a delicious restaurant- not to be missed.

We had an exceptional first experience at Takumi. The staff went above and beyond, making the evening truly memorable. The food was not only authentic and fresh, but bursting with flavor. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was incredibly kind. We’re already looking forward to returning to see Kiyomi and explore more of the menu!
