Had a great family experience on New Years Day - first time bringing my toddler to Friendly’s and I had so many good memories of going as a kid that I was sure I would be disappointed as an adult. The place was spotless and the servers were attentive and kind to our 2 year old. The food was great and so was the ice cream. Overall a great experience and another great memory all these years later! Thank you!

Door dash and uber eats takes priority over call in customers. The food is good, possibly the best from shoreham to rocky point, but the service is garbage. Told 40 minutes, I went in 1 hr later, Still not ready. Waited another 30 minutes. Still not ready. 40 turned into 2hrs. Had the nerve to ask for payment at 1 hr mark before I got the food. Not happening. Was given a 20% discount for waiting 2hrs. If you can't handle the orders coming in...stop taking orders. $99 out the door for sub par food.

We had gotten take out. The fried rice tasted like the rice was old, it only had the rice and pieces of pork in it no onions or scallions. Very bland. The boneless ribs were put into a container and a small fresh 1/2 teaspoon of BBQ sauce put on top of the first few pieces then nothing on the rest they were very dry and hard. The pork eggroll was filled more with cabbage than anything else it was disgusting. So sad that no one wants to do their job anymore. It’s not like we weren’t paying for this food and asking for it for free. We will never go there again.

Second time stopping by. This place is 10/10 underrated spot. 9$ FRESH fried falafel. The fries and samosas come free on top. Free side of sauce. If I'm in Ronkonkama, I'm going to stop here. (We all have our favorite halal spots- THIS is mine) Totally worth the price. The staff are kind, helpful, and consistent. It takes 10 min to get fresh food (as expected) and they communicate well with customers. I feel special for finding this spot and will be back with friends. :)

My first time visiting here. Do not judge a book by its cover. The outside looks old and when you step in it doesn’t look the best. But the food is made fresh and tastes great. The owner is very nice and I placed the order ahead of time. They gave extra sauces on the side and food was made on time and tasted great. By far my favorite gyro place in Suffolk county. I got 2 combo over rice and a falafel sandwich. The price is also very fair and best of all food tasted great!

Wow. Just wow!!! This place and its food is amazing. We have been going to another place for years but it was further away and cash only. Having passed by this many times we decided tonight was the night to order. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Thank you for your amazing service and even more amazing food!! Can’t wait to try more of the menu, tonight we started with Thai Tea, spring rolls, chicken satay , Drunken Noodles with beef and chicken pad Thai! My wife and kids LOVED it!!!!

My favorite Thai spot!! We usually get take out but every time we ate in we were impressed with the service. The lady at the front desk is friendly and so welcoming! The food is amazing. My go tos are: green curry with chicken and chicken drunken noodles…last time we ate there I tried the glass noodles with tofu. The fried chicken wings appetizer is addictive. Clean, no frills spot…love their Thai iced tea also!

We had an incredible dining experience at Tweed’s! The bison burger, fries, and bison cowboy steak were all absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was beyond satisfying. Our server, Ellysa, was amazing so kind, sweet, and attentive. She checked on us frequently to ensure everything was perfect. We were celebrating a birthday, and Judy, who I believe is the owner, even came over to personally wish us a happy birthday. That thoughtful touch made the evening even more special. We drove about an hour to try this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Tweeds is a gem, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional food and warm, welcoming service. We can’t wait to come back!

This landmark building is beautiful inside and out. There is a bar almost the length of the restaurant that has an ezcellent turn of the 20th century vibe with news articles and artifacts celebrating its political connections to presidents and leaders of both parties along with stuffed animals adorning the walls. The food was cooked fresh and the staff was professional, diligent and very courteous. The food took over an hour to arrive even though we were there for lunch and there were only 3 other tables with about 10 other customers there and the waitress kept apologizing for the delayed food because of new years prepping.

One of the best breakfast spots on Long Island. Gave me great service the first time I ever walked in and today the service was fantastic. I have been to a lot of places but this one is by far the best. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves the southern hospitality with a New York twist.

If you want diner food like Grandma made, this is your place. It's a local joint. It's been there a long time, it seems. Friendly staff and good food. Nothing fancy. A good, quick bite. Crowded and small so make sure you have time. Cash only.

Jans is the best Chinese food in a 50 mile radius easily. Their seafood lo mein is to die for the dumplings are really good. I love the sesame noodles. Spring rolls are good. Sesame chicken is good. Everything is just really really good and the people are so nice. I absolutely love eating there when you order takeout it’s really fast. And the place is not overpriced. It’s very affordable. This restaurant needs to stay open for another 200 years at least.

Best Chinese on the Northfork. Great customer service, always fast and the food is always delicious.

If I could leave more stars, I would! I’m visiting my sister’s family from NC and this is one of their favorites, obviously for good reason! The service was impeccable, food was delicious, and the owners were so kind and especially loving to the kiddos as well. Highly recommend from someone who has been in the food service industry for 25 years.

While the Royal Sushi Platter was quite delicious, I am really writing this review to commend this establishment on its customer service. My dad inadvertently ordered the wrong entre and the waiter immediately said no problem - and allowed him to re-order. This is probably not always the case at other restaurants do kudos to Matsulin! The food was very good though and reasonably priced. Parking is easy too in their back lot.

I bought a lunch and it was pork inside so I wanted to go back to store to change that. I just entered the store and the lady who is working there, started to yelling at me suddenly?? I didn’t get it anything. I didn’t opened my mouth and said anything. I just entered the store with wrong order packets and she immediately started to yelling at me. I’m muslim and I’m not eating pork so I just wanted to change the food. I said ‘ i just want to change and pay for new order’ but she never and ever listened me. Nonsense and very rude. I never suggest anyone to eat and order from this store.

Food here is ALWAYS FRESHLY COOKED. Prices went up a little, but what place hasn't gone up?? They take care of your order very fast. Delicious food.

This place is a hidden gem, the staff is so friendly, the food is better than any1 else and they have great prices. My wife and I love coming here when we have a free night from the kids. Try the Thai iced teas, but be careful because there addicting, it’s a unique taste that you won’t find anywhere else. My wife gets one everyday

We really enjoyed dinner here tonight. The menu has something for everyone- sushi, Japanese, Chinese Thai etc and we ate a little bit of it all. The sushi ( even the veggie ones) were very fresh and the maki rolls were well stuffed with fresh veggies . Kids loved the udon and beef, husband had generals chicken, mom had shrimp pad Thai( nice big shrimp) and everyone enjoyed their meals! The only word of caution is the pad Thai is very mildly spicy so if you like no spice I’d mention that to them. Will definitely go again

How many restaurants can entertain and satisy 22 people? The food was perfect and everyone raved about their selection. They put us in the back area, so we were not disturbing the other customers, or perhaps we were back there, so we were not being distracted. First, they brought waters and then took our orders asking how people wanted their meals prepared. Then soup or salad, fried rice with spinning eggs, a fire show, and lots of friendly chatter. There were a few squirts of saki in people's mouths and some airborn broccoli. Then came the meat , fish or vegetables. Everyone received a generous portion of fried rice and vegetables. With a tip, it averaged $20.00. The servers were very friendly. One person ordered sushi and sat with the rest of us. Only one person had enough on their plate for take home. Everyone asked to schedule another luncheon here, so we will be back. While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, Marge commented about all the high volume takeout service.

I could say something like this: “Definitely worth visiting, especially if you’ve never been to hibachi—great show, very fun experience and decent food!” But! You, dear owners, deserve only one star for including 18% gratitude. Pay salaries to your staff and let guests decide if they like your place or not! 🤬
