Visited for the first time and the food was gross. The rice had an overwhelming taste of butter, which wouldn't be bad if that's what I ordered. The pork spareribs were 80% fat and the meat tasted stale. Never returing.

We love Quan’s! The food is usually delicious and fresh tasting. We love the veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, kung pao chicken, general gao’s chicken. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The decor is impressive. Great place for a large group or dinner & drinks with friends, or a quiet family dinner.

This place reminds me of old school Chinese restaurants! There was a pot of tea! The food was fresh filling and delicious! We got a combo app of boneless ribs, wings, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. We also got a small beef teriyaki, general gao's chicken and pork chow mein. Everything was great! We stuffed ourselves! We took the leftovers home to my friends husband! He loved it to! We shared a scorpion bowl, too. The bill was 60 bucks. There's no way you could go wrong!

Just your everyday average looking place with great food, drinks and service. Served quickly and food comes out very hot, fried appetizers are hot,crispy and not over fried or dried out. Some of the best chicken wings I've had. Haven't been disappointed yet.

We lost a treasured restaurant, an amazing part of the community. The employees will be missed. The town will never heal. Chinese food as good and consistent as the food that was served here will never be found elsewhere. RIP South China Gourmet I wouldn't have made it this far in life without the food you made.

The portions are laughable. For the amount they charge I'd expect at least ⅓ more food. Speaking of the food, it was not bursting with flavor. In fact, it was quite mediocre. I was looking for a new place to try and this is not it. However, the service is slightly better than average. Lastly, the over all decor is drab, dreary and depressing. In a word, terrible.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but felt compelled after we had such good Chinese food! All of the meat- from our beef broccoli, to our beef teriyaki, to our chicken fingers was all very fresh and extremely tender. We are in Lakeville and have tried all of the area Chinese food. This was our very first time trying Kings Garden and we will be back! Everything was very flavorful and fresh, the portions were also very generous. I also appreciated that although our fried food was fried in oil that it was not too oily or soaked, usually my stomach just can’t handle that amount of grease- Kings Garden’s fried foods were NOT oily and soaked in grease. This Chinese takeout is among the best I’ve had in my life! Pleasantly surprised! If you’re thinking of trying them, think no more! This will be our “go to” now for Chinese, even with the longer drive.

This is the only Chinese food restaurant I know that has consistently good food. The pork strips always dry though so avoid those. Lobster sauce is very good.

We've gone here for years & keep coming back. Your Server if you go in the evening will probably be Tina who is the hardest worker any restaurant could have. Sweet & polite, remembering what everyone ordered in her head. lol There's a long bar if you want to sit at whenever, we go to eat our fill! Never had a bad choice of anything ordered & we leave stuffed & with leftovers. Highly recommend going there.

I came here before an evening meeting for work. Perfect place to take myself out to dinner! The food was delicious, and the service was great. Atmosphere was very low key and gave me the perfect opportunity to sit, relax, and prepare for my meeting.

Lilly behind the bar is amazing! Love her so much! Food it's always the best.

Food is ok specially since is not pricey. I think is a good place to good with a big family since they have options and money friendly things, but not my favorite flavors

Ordered deep fryed shrimp and oysters with oyster sauce.got 99 perfect deep fryed coating and 1 percent shrimp. No oysters at all. Will never order from here again!!!! I'll drive to New Bedford to order from Grand wok and get decent Chinese food for a good price from now on. In answer to your response, you're correct. I said I got a shrimp and oyster dish. What I actually ordered was the $20 seafood platter described as fried shrimp and scallops deep fried in egg batter and sauteed with select vegetables in oyster sauce. As I said in my original review, tons of batter, a few scrawny bits of shrimp and after cutting open even more thick batter I DID find scallops. 4 of them. Sorry but this was NOT worth $20. Finally there was NOT 7 shrimp. There was 4 SCRAPS of shrimp and there was only 4 scallops in this $20 dollar order. Sorry if you think I'm trying to tank your business. I'm only telling you that you need to correct the one dish I ordered from you in order for me to spend $20 dollars in your restaurant ever again. P

I stopped for lunch, vegetable rich and egg rolls, staff was very courteous and pleasant. The only problem and it was my fault. I don't eat mushrooms and there were mushrooms in the rice. Just picked em out 🤷🏽‍♂️ and everything was good

They are not too friendly. I asked for the lunch promotional spicy shrimp. But it only came 4 pieces of shrimp with a lots of vegetables and rice. Not worth for the money I paid.

I only go there for the pork fried rice in the pork lo mein it's good and it's cheap and you get a good portion

Update: Happy to report that New China has improved a great deal! I ordered the Pu pu platter, house fried rice and Peking ravioli which were all delicious! Their egg rolls are fantastic and the best around! They are filled with ground pork and veggies just like I remember them being elsewhere from years ago. I'll be back for sure! This place runs hot and cold. Lately the quality of much of the food has not been good. In fact I threw out half of it, which I've never done in my life. The peking ravioli was very good, as was the crab rangoon. The chicken chow mein ( not even sure that was chicken) was tasteless and the chicken had an odd tough texture. The batter on the chicken fingers and shrimp completely fell off upon picking it up... what??? Do they have a new cook? Are they buying low quality ingredients to save on cost? Idk... I gave them a shot once again but will try elsewhere next time. 👎

I just want to thank everyone thant works in this establishment, especially the workers and gentleman that was working last night... My grandmother had ordered food from here and locked herself out of the car and had to wait until AAA came to get her keys out of her car. You people showed her nothing but wonderful hospitality and helped to restore my Faith in humanity that there are still good people out there in this crazy world! Food was ok it's the other things that took away from rating. Stores hours are inconsistent and two the seating area/waiting area is gloomy, dark, and you get the impression that you're just a number no interaction. The waiting area/dining area is about 25 degrees

Worst place ever. I walk in food is sitting out on the table. Where is the board of health? They said 25 min I was there in 15 it was ready. My crab rangoons, ice cold. Same with the chicken fingers they didn't make them fresh it is clear as day they didn't even drop the Rangoon in the frier. How hard is it to fry it fresh????? Don't say 25 min and have it done in 10. Make it fresh and tell me 45 I don't care. Beef teriyaki terrible Rangoon's terrible. There's a reason why the other place on depot at was 2 hour wait. Never again.

Food was actually very good. And im hard to please....place was very cold but its freezing outside. New to area ill be back..........this review was over a year ago. I returned Feb 13th 2019 after a long day I ordered 50.00 of Chinese Food. The crab ragoons, as Ive seen others say, were rancid and sour inside the rice was unseasoned and had balls of white rice clumped. When i called the next day ..the owner could care less. I will never eat here again. Never.

Highly recommend for functions The one bad thing that can be over looked is the older environment could use some updating especially the bathrooms.. But food is great a function room is large service was perfect they supplied perfect amount of food. An you can’t beat the price for a large gathering. An plenty of parking.

This was my favorite place for delivery BUT this time we received crab rangoons smashed inside the entree box and completely soaked with juice making them horrible. We got the wrong order of soup. My entree was 90% large pieces of green peppers and 4 small pieces of chicken with a few water chestnuts. I called back to tell them and was told, "I should have told them to pack the crab Rangoons separately and sorry about the other things. I'll tell my manager." My orders are always over $80 so it's not cheap. Last time I'll be ordering here.

I ordered 4 combination plates, 1 pork fried rice , chicken fingers , pork strips and beef teriyaki . 2 pork fried rice , chicken wings and beef teriyaki . 3 white rice with chicken fingers and last one was beef fried rice chicken teriyaki and boneless spare ribs lean . also ordered a small beef and peapod . when i got home and took my food out of the bag , combination plate #1 was missing the chicken fingers and also combination plate #4 had beef teriyaki ( i ordered chicken teriyaki ) the non american lady was very ignorant to me and told me i ordered beef teriyaki for the last one when i said no i didnt . i dont eat the beef i only eat chicken teriyaki and i also had it write down on a paper so i wouldnt forget everyones order . she said she only missed one thing but i told her no you messed up my other plate and she kept screaming at me saying i said beef when i didnt . i order from here all the time i get the same plate every single time . but for the non american lady to tell me that i ordered something i dont eat is mind blowing . tell me why would i order beef teriyaki when i dont eat it . im going to show you what i wrote for the 1st and 4th order . i dont know how someone so ignorant to customers like she was still has a job when she is screaming on the top of her lungs . also isnt the first time she yelled on the top of her lungs to a customers because i witness it last week when i was in there picking up my order. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN . very unprofessional .
