Ordered here for the first time tonight because our usual place has been closed for renovations for the last several months. Placed an order for delivery online and scheduled to be delivered when we got home from work. Order was on time, driver was friendly and followed my delivery instructions. Food was good, portion sizes were a let down, for $80 it didn't seem like much food at all but the food was tasty, fresh, and I didnt have that post Chinese stomach uneasiness that comes from most places probably because the food wasn't super greasy which was nice. The boneless spare ribs had a good flavor but we're a bit on the dry/overcooked side, the chicken fingers were also good but some were dry and some were perfect. The white rice was fluffy but not mushy, the duck sauce was on point, the friend shrimp was good, the beef teriyaki was super tasty and the crab rangoon was DELICIOUS. I feel like the dryness can probably be explained by the fact that we were ordering for the first time on the busiest day of the year for Chinese food- New Year's Eve. Online ordering was easy but be forwarned that even though it doesn't say it anywhere, the online orders are fulfilled by DoorDash, which was kind of annoying because I specifically don't order through them anymore since every time I have ever ordered through DoorDash the prices are higher and the portions are significantly smaller than they would be if I just picked it up myself. Which honestly if I'm willing to pay for delivery I don't understand how it's ok for DoorDash to charge more PLUS charge a delivery fee for less food. We will not be ordering delivery again for that reason but we do look forward to trying takeout again sometime.

Got the combination plate with yang chow fried rice crab Rangoon and chicken wings. Rice not fresh. You get 3 crab Rangoon and 4 wings not whole wings either for damn near 16 dollars. Crab Rangoon is just full of cream cheese nothing else..asked for wings well done and they weren't.. soggy as water. just terrible.. will not be going back

Ordered fried rice from them today. The fried rice was flavorful and cooked just right, and the shrimp sushi was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for good Asian food. Highly recommend!

I got quite a lot of food of a random variety here with my coworker and everything is incredible. I even came in early for my order and expected to wait and everything was perfectly on time! Super fresh, and really good quality. They were even kind enough to help me bring it to the car even though it's cold out.

Was in total shock. We ordered food to be delivered. At the time it wasn't a good time in my home. When I got shocked was the delivery driver looked at the receipt and looked at me and said you no give tip? Like really? You just asked for your tip? You see people are upset and you have the balls to ask for a tip. I won't ever order from there again.

As others have said this location is definitely under new management and it is for the worse, you can pretty much disregard any reviews from under the previous owners older than at least March of 2025. Phone orders now seem to go through a call center with customer service agents that aren't even familiar with the menu, I got tired of waiting for the woman I got to take her third pause to still not figure out what a D15 was and just hung up and went to make my order in person. The food will likely vary with what you get but from my experience has taken a drastic hit in quality. The fried rice was bland and pale as if it had never even seen heat of an actual stove, the crab rangoon was practically just pure cream cheese, the boneless spareribs which would usually be very well cooked with a good char were limp and soggy and the sad excuse for an eggroll (usually my favorite) at first just seemed far smaller and soggier but after taking a bite doesn't even have the same fillings. In all honesty the quality was closer to what you'd expect from the frozen food section of Walmart than from even take out Chinese.

This just became the best Chinese Restaurant in Plymouth. food was fantastic. Everything was very clean tasting. When I left. I didn’t feel bloated like most Chinese restaurants. The Service was top notch. Everyone was very friendly. And to top it off. They have the Chinese Zodiac placemats. I have always wondered why most Chinese restaurants stop giving them out.

Probably the best place in Plymouth to go for Chinese now. Sushi is not bad either. Fried ice cream for dessert was delicious and I've been there twice now and both bartenders were very friendly. Great Service!!

I have been ordering from this establishment for years and the food has always been good. Unfortunately, I will not be returning because the quality of the food this tike around was poor. Most of my order is going to waste, especially the chicken wings, which no one bother to eat more than one piece or finished what they served themselves. I'm assuming the chicken wings came out dark and tasted like dirty wet socks because they have been recycling the cooking oil over and over again. Whatever you do, don't order the wings.

Decent Chinese food, I enjoy the crab Rangoon and shrimp friend rice, general gaos chicken not spicy at all. I ordered the passion fruit smoothie, it wasn’t available but they still charged me for it and gave me a nasty mango smoothie. Don’t like the service and the lady is so rude, always rushing.

First time at this restaurant and I will not be going back. I ordered sesame chicken, Pad Thai, crab rangoon and pineapple fried rice. The Pad Thai was white and loaded with thick slices of onions. It smelled like a mixture of vinegar and dog poop. It was inedible. The sesame chicken had a vinegar taste. It was edible but not good. The pineapple fried rice was ok (there were green beans mixed in the rice). The crab rangoon was ok. It had a very pasty texture. They did give a side of sauces and fortune cookies!

Great Chinese takeout! This place is fast becoming our favorite Chinese takeout place. The Eggplant in Galic Sauce is fantastic ! My wife really likes the MooGoo Guypan

Great value, quick service. Idk how they move so much food at such a rate, but I am one happy camper. This is the McD's of Americanized Chinese Cuisine. *chefs kiss*

Great Chinese joint! I've been going here for many years and Connie has always run a great restaurant from cocktails to plates. Can't wait to enjoy another mai tai!

Absolutely the worst Chinese food we have ever had. It was New Year’s Eve and the place was busy, of course. We ordered some vegetable fried rice general tso chicken which came out as orange chicken and it was awful. Just breaded chunks with tiny little pieces of chicken hidden somewhere inside with an orange sauce that tasted gross. The eggroll was OK but overall, this place is horrible, dirty silverware, dirty dishes on the table. The floor was dirty. The place smelled funny. We only went because it was about the only place open. If you want good Chinese food don’t go here. Worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. $50 for crappy food. Will never go back to this place.

Went to the Maui after hearing it had been rated best in the area. Food was great! Drinks were pricey & weak. Bartender was a great guy & the patrons at the bar were super friendly & lots of fun! Will definitely go back for the food

We got the vegetable fried rice, spicy green beans, crab rangoons, and salt and pepper shrimp. The rice was average. The spicy green beans were not spicy and were a bit overcooked. The crab rangoons had a thick dough. I like a light crispy dough, and it was just cream cheese and no crab. The shrimp was also in a thick coating, not light and crispy like it should be. It was also very very salty.

THE BEST CHINESE FOOD AROUND. Ping and Kong work so hard as a married couple to make your dining experience just perfect. The food is always wonderful. They do a lot of take out for sure but we always dine in and love every moment of it. Great luncheon specials that are usually enough to take some home. It reheats well too. I know the building doesn’t look inviting but please don’t let that fool you. It is always nice and clean so no worries. Just GO AND ENJOY.

It was the first time I ever ordered from this restaurant and it was delivery. I can’t begin to tell you how awful the food was, loaded in grease. My stomach was so upset. I was in the bathroom twice during the night I had such pains from the grease everything was saturated. And the tiny portion of boneless ribs for $15 was outrageous. We couldn’t eat those either all grease. Terrible food!

It has some of the best Chinese food south of Boston. Their consistency and quality are very good. My favorite is General Gau's Chicken. The only downside is they are takeout only. But the upside is my orders are always ready when they told me.

This review is a long time coming and I apologize for not leaving one sooner because we are BIG fans! We order from China Gourmet regularly and the food has always been delicious, the staff is friendly, and they’re always fast so the food arrives hot and fresh. The quality is consistently excellent and the portion sizes/value really can’t be beat. They’ve also accommodated allergy requests when we’ve had guests eating with us that had dietary restrictions. We’re so fortunate to have this restaurant close by!

An absolute delight, tucked away in the quaint Depot Street Market of Duxbury. This Chinese restaurant does it right. Friendly service, great food, and solid Mai Tai's. Its quality of food and drink blows the competition out of the water. I'll have to disagree with other reviews stating that this food lacks taste/quality. I've never been disappointed with it one bit. A great stop for takeout or dine-in experience. Thanks for staying in town so long!

I could not give zero stars so they get one. Had food to go on Thursday . Basic order. Tasteless, dried out, insipid. Ribs were overcooked, mushing was a gushed mess as was the family style tofu. Absolute waste if money. Never again.
