This review is based on my initial visit. Restaurant was clean, older furniture and decor that gave you a nostalgic feeling. I sat on the lounge side. The bartender Ming was a one man show. He did a good job managing all the orders from that side. Older crowd at the bar. Everyone appeared friendly. My chair was probably as old as I am. It was also very comfortable and relaxing. The one thing that really matters is the food! When try out new to me places, there are some staples that I get. Hot and Sour Soup was old school, had a very nice flavor with a kick to make your eyes water. Highly recommend! Egg Rolls are some of the best of the best. Traditional New England/Polynesian recipe that is heavy on celery and pork with a crispy outer layer. These are a must! Spareribs on the bone were meaty, tender while having a crisp on the outside, and full of flavor. Absolutely delicious!! Beef Teriyaki was moist, marinated throughout and very tasty. Very much recommend! Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was some of the darkest that I have had. The sauce was very much like the Lobster Sauce we grew up on. Had a very nice flavor to it. The Shrimp were only about 30 seconds overcooked but were still delicious. Also very much recommend this dish! For an old school place my only complaint was they didn't have hot tea. I don't think I got a Fortune cookie either. Overall it was a nice experience. Not a fancy night out, but good old school Chinese food in a happy atmosphere. Excited to try some of their other dishes.

Worst place ever charging almost 40 dollars for two lunch specials also the beef broccoli which I order chicken not beef was empty I had more vegetables than meat rice portion unacceptable price unacceptable I order low mein since when does low mein comes with rice never comin again here .. this is the second time first time was a headache too when I call they said we don’t talk English and when I went in person he was perfectly fine speaking English to me

My friend has been praising this place for years, so today we went to out for our girls night out. It was 6pm on a Saturday, it wasn't busy and when we walked in, a very nice lady greeted us with a huge smile and sat us immediately. She came over and chatted with us, my friend and I are "Chatty Cats", and we like when service workers engage. We asked for her recommendations and everything was amazing. I have to admit General Gau's Chicken is not for me but my friend kept raving about it so we ordered it. They even served us a discontinued item, the West Nile soup. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD. I was impressed with their flavors, we didn't need any additional sauces.

Under new management!!! I had heard good things but had to try for myself. You walk in and have a great view of the huge kitchen. They are still training but that didn't change the great service. I ate in the bar area. All of the tables were full, that was a good sign. I had the pleasure of talking to Kevin who now runs it. Great guy, very approachable. They have a fantastic lunch menu that you for the most part get to pick the items. Endless combinations. Their Hot and Sour Soup was absolutely delicious! They use an old school recipe that is full of flavor and finished with sesame oil. I wanted to lick the bowl. My combo was Lobster Sauce with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. First let me preface this by saying I've reviewed around 100 Chinese food restaurants on here. Their Egg Roll is most likely the best I have ever had. I dreamed about that Egg Roll all night. Probably will tonight too. Lobster Sauce and Pork Fried Rice were delicious! I also really liked the flavors in the very tender Orange Beef. Starts with that tangy flavor and leaves with just a little kick. Hot mustard is 🔥! Great duck sauce too! Really excited to see their comeback. More excited that my experience exceeded expectations! Go check them out! Edit: Went back to have the Spareribs on the Bone! These are some of the best of the best! 6 very meaty, flavorful, perfect char, juicy bites of heaven are absolutely delicious and worthy of a cross state drive! Picture of them added! I also added another Egg Roll pic that looks like a dragon!

Ordered noodles and orange chicken. It was only 7pm and almost all the food was empty. I got tiny little bits of chicken that was more bread than chicken. The noodles also had more cabbage and onions in them than actual noodles. I wasnt expecting much and was still disappointed.. never going back

I used to Panda Express on the west coast so gonna all the time and just moved here so tried this one All sides I tried was really elegant and good. I have three stars not because of the meat but mainly for the rice and noodles feels little less favorable and taste so different from west coast panda noddles and fried rice which is amazing One note, feel portion little less than west coast but still good

The order i received today 12/ 25/ was not what I expected. As a long time customer I always bragged about your food. NO MORE. Everything in my order had little or no taste. Food quality was poor, tasted cheep. Thanks for the memories, NO MORE

I used to order from these guys all the time, but then they hired a phone service. I called in today and they told me I couldn’t order an extra spring roll to satisfy the delivery fee with my combo. I’ll be ordering from Shabu Lee going forward.

Nice staff, great portion. But the food is a little bit sweet for me.

I have tried Great Chow a few times over the past year, initially for takeout chicken wings...very good. Unfortunately, when I have tried their lo main or fried rice or other items, they are not very good. On my last visit , I tried the House Lo Mein and discovered canned mushrooms, baby corn and water chestnuts, baby shrimp, chunks of pork, soggy broccoli, pea pods and noodles in a congealed sauce and overall it looked and tasted like smoky mush. I don't know that I would try anything else after that experience.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant at the moment.. the food tastes like good Chinese restaurants did in the early 2000s, which is hard to find nowadays.. the service was fast, but didn’t feel very friendly as the other places in the food court. I get the sesame chicken, the chicken and broccoli, the sweet and sour chicken, and the fried rice. It was all very flavorful and hot right away. It’s actually a pretty decent portion for the money ($17).

Please stay away from this establishment as if your life depended on it. The cost to quality ratio for this food is among the worst I’ve ever seen. It costs $14 for some of the worst quality/smallest quantity of food I’ve had the misfortune to come across. The rice was burnt, the meats were drier than the Sahara desert, and the mushrooms were completely raw. Words almost cannot do justice for how much I dislike this place. I’d give it a -100000000 if I could

China Chopsticks Inc.

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the portion sizes to be more than generous, easily enough to satisfy a hungry appetite. I particularly enjoyed the chicken lo mein. The general gau chicken, however, was a bit too oily for my liking, and the egg rolls were rather bland in taste. I'm not entirely familiar with Chinese cuisine, so I'm unsure if that's how they are typically prepared, but it didn't quite suit my palate. On the positive side, the price point is quite affordable, and the restaurant offers decent seating for those looking to dine in. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price.

Best Chinese food in Quincy hands down! I have lived in Quincy my whole life and I only come here for my food! It’s family owned and you can see the love and care they put into cooking their food! Amazing quality! Great portions! My favorite place!

Lucky Dragon Restaurant

Stopped in for a bite at Lucky Dragon in Quincy .. Ordered a combination plate, which was Pad Thai with an Egg Roll and 2 Peking Ravioli. Pad Thai was very fresh, light and flavorful. Apps were old school—just how I like them. Delicious meal. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Small restaurant, very casual—more of a takeout type place . Lots of people coming and going with takeout orders. My bill came to $16.58 with tax. Would stop in again in a heartbeat.

The crab rangoon, teriyaki beef, salt & pepper chicken wings, were so flavorful. The sesame tofu was surprisingly delicious!

My boyfriend and I decided to visit this restaurant after a long and chilly day spent in the rain. We were seeking some comfort food to warm us up, and hot pot seemed like the perfect choice. It was actually the first time that Edward, my boyfriend, had ever been to a hot pot restaurant, so we were both excited to try something new together. We didn't hold back when it came to ordering. We treated ourselves to the A5 Wagyu, which was absolutely worth every penny. In addition to that, we also indulged in other delicious fixings such as quail eggs, a mushroom combo, watercress, and lamb. The variety of ingredients made our hot pot experience even more enjoyable. One particular highlight of our meal was the pork bone broth that we selected. It was bursting with flavor and added an extra layer of richness to our hot pot. I highly recommend giving it a try if you ever visit this restaurant. Aside from the tasty food, the restaurant itself had a charming atmosphere. It's an ideal place for a casual get-together with friends or a romantic date night. There's even a bar available, which adds to the overall experience. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more pleasant. All in all, our visit to this hot pot restaurant was a delightful experience. We left feeling satisfied, both in terms of our appetites and the overall dining experience. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for some comforting and delicious hot pot.

Easily the best Hot Pot in Massachusetts. Dare you to prove me wrong! This place has a great setup. You can easily seat a group of people for a long dinner or sit at the bar and have a pot all to yourself. The cuts of meet are very fresh, very thin, and a broth selection to satisfy all taste buds. I’m a big meat eater, however what I think sets this place apart from the competition is the vegetables. Large selection and everything is as fresh as it gets. I personally love going for lunch for the all ya can stuff buffet.

East Chinatown Restaurant

Small place that cooks authentic dishes from my childhood restaurant memories. We went at a slow time - 2p on a Monday - and were the only ones eating. The waiter was efficient and helpful and understood my Americanized Toisanese. We got everything exactly the way I asked for them to be cooked. Food is old school nostalgic and very reasonably priced for the generous serving size. It’s a small space so it is usually packed when we walk by but we went in today because it was post mid day lunchtime so we sat and ordered right away. Would definitely return to try more menu items. It’s a large menu.

This was our first visit to East Chinatown Restaurant, based on a Google Maps search. It seems we arrived close to closing time (within 2 hours), as many of the tempting Chinese BBQ options were already sold out or past their prime. Additionally, the staff appeared to be winding down for the day, resulting in minimal service and a wait for our food to be cooked. While the food was affordable, it lacked flavor and presentation. On the bright side, there's a small parking lot behind the restaurant (in addition to street parking), which is helpful to know. We plan to return at an earlier time to experience the full menu and hopefully, enjoy a more attentive service and tastier dishes.

Part of been a chain restaurant is the taste is pretty consistent with their other locations. If you want the full experience of adding everything into the hot pot on your own be sure to tell the waitress. Otherwise they put everything into the pot in the kitchen. We had the pickled veggie with fish, golden soup with beef, and chicken broth for kids. The first two were very tasty, the chicken broth one was mediocre. They also have some unconventional appetizers for a Yunan Rice Noodle house, like Salty Crispy Chicken 盐酥鸡 which turned out to be pretty good. Very friendly and patient waitresses.

Staff was very friendly. Service was quick. Very attentive. I got fried pork and it was delicious. Came with a little dry rub substance that reminded me of thanksgiving stuffing. I didn’t use much of it, it didn’t need it it was so good. We got the pumpkin pancakes. Excellent! I got the spicy beef soup pot. The wife got the chicken soup. Everything was very good. The beef was slightly tough but not so bad it wasn’t good. The only reason it’s not a 5 is that the soups could use just a tad more noodle. Other than that it was a great lunch.
