Fuzhou Gourmet
Come here for the inexpensive home cooked fu zhou cuisine experience! Definitely recommend the mix noodles and all their wontons, fried taro was crispy on the outside and fluffy within. Been coming here before they even had a Google page, cures my homesickness all the time!
delicious and affordable. lots of good quality food for the price. tried their fried rice noodle and lamb pot, total
Dumpling Daughter Brookline
I am sad… there used to be a location in Kendall Sq. I used to get the veggie dumplings and frozen packages all the time. On uber eats there’s this buy 1 get 1 free deal for the buns. I was excited since I haven’t gotten their stuff since 2022-2023 I am not sure what changed. It was like I went to the store and baked them or microwaved them? They were definitely not steamed or had the texture of a steamed bun. It definitely was like untoasted bread. No rise. What happened to the vegetable buns I swear they used to be green and had more than cabbage and carrots? Sad to say it was an expensive and disappointing take-out night. 9/10 would not recommend unless you’re in a bind and you can’t go to a store to buy frozen ones. Would of preferred to received them frozen, I would of been able to actually steam them. 🫣☹️ I gave 5 for atmosphere because at least I was at home. I gave an overall 1 for effort.
We got a variety of dumplings to try, everyone enjoyed the steamed and fried dumplings, especially the petites! The sauces were very tasty. The fried Brussels sprouts are where it's at, though. They were addictive and I abandoned my tofu/rice to demolish those instead. Prices weren't bad compared to anything else in the area and the service was amazing and quick. Excellent Thai Tea as well.
Hong Kong Cafe
Food was not to bad order a combination plate to eat whie doing uber and i had to go back and skilled for a plate why is does not come in a tray idk, but food was good.
Ordered food on Uber eats and the sweet and sour chicken picture looks completely different than what we got. We got some chicken fingers that with horrible breading, not edible at all. Fix yourselves, wasting time and money. Just horrible. The pictures show what I mean, sweet and sour chicken looks good on the picture but in real life it’s just sad.
China Pearl
My husband and I will come here whenever we crave for dim sum. Servers are always friendly although they only speak couple of English words. Some aunties will come and offer foods from their carts. They have steamed, baked and fried items. In my opinion, prices are affordable enough.
The fastest restaurant we will eat in and out of! It truly was the worst dimsum I have had in Boston area. The beef rice roll had a strange flavour The shrimp roasted rice roll was horrible The seafood smells really bad and the meat is very poor quality
Paik's Noodle Korean-Chinese Food
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken for dinner and the sauce was in chunks. Never seen a kitchen was okay serving anything like this. Also, the cashier never mentioned that the entree doesn't come with any noodles or rice. She could have easily asked the customer to help generate revenue for the business and also provide a better experience for the customer. Also what's the point of this side dish? The container probably cost more than the actual food
Everytime I eat here, I always end up getting the stir fried noodles. It’s so yummy with a perfect balance of the vegetables/ pork and noodles. Overall big portions for most/all of the food at a low cost and the food comes out extremely fast. If your in the Quincy area def recommend coming
Sarku Japan
Delicious delicious delicious! Not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from but my food tasted great. There’s a reason they’ve been here for as long as I could remember. I ordered double chicken and was loaded up. Fast, efficient, friendly service as well! When you order takeout it comes in a plastic container that comes with extra teriyaki sauce.
This place used to be decent back in the days but now it’s just awful. You would expect paying $10 for a meal it would at least fill you up. It seem like they played Tetris and tried to stack and even put the portion to make it seem like they filled up the box but it’s the opposite. I got 4-5 piece of cabbage that they spread out to fill 1/3 of the box, little rice that they spread out to make it seem like it’s a lot and 7-8 tiny piece of chicken they spread all over to it seem like you got lots of chicken. I opened the box and was shock, I mixed everything together and it actually only 1/3 full but they tried to make it seem like it was full. Their way of ripping people off is crazy. I ordered 3 box of chicken on their mobile app and got so little. When I got home I put all 3 box together into 1 it actually only filled up 1 box. I paid over $30 for the meal but got at most $12 work of food. I would of got tons of food that can feed 2-3 for $30 at any other legit restaurant.
New Mei Garden
Today i buy food in this place and was horrible the rice no taste the egg fo youg was a disaster. Everything was tasteless like was cook two days ago and was to much money I wount be buy food there anymore. i do not recommend this restauran to a friend. Nasty food
Food was mediocre at best. Spring rolls and crab rangoons were over cooked and Shrimp Pad Thai was not even close to what it should be. Definitely would not order here again.
Quan's Kitchen
Love love love the food here! We’ve tried several local places since moving to Weymouth a year an ago and they were disappointing, then we found Quans. What a game changer. We’ve tried loads of different things on the menu and all of it is yummy. Good price for the quality and serving sizes. Staff are friendly every time we go in. It’s pickup or delivery only so the parking never looks busy. Super easy to order online. Can’t recommend enough!
For me, it's one of the best Chinese Food take-out in the area. The overall here is a very tasty food, with a very big portion and make you feel your money is worth it. 10/10
Tai Xi Hot Pot
Nice cozy restaurant fresh food and great boba drinks. They have hot pot and very good entree. The owner personally made our drinks and explain how to order and recommended some great dishes. It was a hot day out. So we didnt try hot pot .we tried some nice boba like melon which was very satisfing and my daughter got the toro milk boba and she was very happy with it. Everything we had was so delicious and it was a very clean and fast .
I made a dinner reservation for five people, including my three young kids—my 3-year-old daughter and two sons under 9. When we sat down, we were told we couldn't order from the regular menu and had to choose hotpot or a special menu. I explained my kids have seafood allergies and can't eat hotpot, so I wanted to order regular menu items for them, but they refused. I'm a regular customer and never had issues before. I spoke to the male owner, mentioning there's no problem when his wife is around, but he didn't seem to care and said they just changed the policy, even though I was there for lunch three days ago without any issues.
Golden Crown
I have been a costumer at this place for years but today 1/30/2025 i but chicken wing fried rice lo mein and spare ribs the rice was not fresh, i like my chicken wings well done they was burn, and old. i get heart burn. The place was dirty and i saw a mouse dirty place
Horrible experience. Anything fried was cooked in old, burnt oil and tasted absolutely rancid. The smell alone was unbearable, and I ended up throwing all the food away without eating any of it. Complete waste of money. Avoid at all costs.
Ruby Thai South Shore Plaza
Not cheap but the food was decent. Service was friendly and fast. The spicy chicken wasn’t very spicy but it was just to right for me. I was glad they had vermicelli noodles :-). It’s. .50 extra charge but they are yummy!
Portion was too small, add another $1.25 if you choose shrimp but what I got was 3 pcs of tiny shrimp that covered with veggies 😔. Ruby Thai at Providence Place served better portion than this. 2 meals with 2 entrees and a drink cost $30 Fried rice 6/10 ( rice was wet) Mango chicken 7/10 (not too sweet and chicken was crispy) Shrimp and veggie 4/10 (seriously only 3 tiny pcs) Eggplant and tofu 5/10 (tasteless) Noodles 8/10 ( al dente and fresh) Spicy chicken 7/10 ( just too sweet for my taste bud)
Pho Countryside
Pho Countryside is a must-visit for authentic Vietnamese food in Quincy! The restaurant is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the manager at the front welcomed us like family, which made us feel right at home. Ambiance was nice and casual. For our appetizer, we shared the Banh Xeo—perfectly crispy with fresh veggies, absolutely delicious! For our mains, we had the Pho Tai, Pho Saté, and Bun Rieu, and each dish was packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!
Great service, passable viet food. Broth was decent for pho, but for that price, it’s ridiculous that there’s so little meat for an extra large. Everywhere else the extra large has bigger portions. The rice dish, the meats were ok, but the fried shrimp paste left much to be desired. Not crispy coming out. Not much other flavor in fish sauce. Overall, go only for convenience otherwise go elsewhere like pho so 1.
