This restaurant is small . But has a fantastic welcoming atmosphere. And while not busy The person at the counter is very kind. And the music playing helps with relaxing and enjoying the time while u dine in. Also I get free soup if u dine in. Either a hot and sour or eggdrop soup.

I recently dined at this restaurant that left much to be desired in terms of service and quality. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the staff's demeanor was unfriendly. Throughout the meal, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, which made for a discomforting experience. To add insult to injury, when I ordered a bottle of ginger ale, I was served one that was clearly expired. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction was disappointing, to say the least. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to others based on my negative experience with the service and product quality.

Like what is my life. First I find a bug in my shrimp fried rice at a different restaurant and now a stapler at this one. I don’t know if it came from the packaging the rice came in or the kitchen but all I know I found it in my food. The food is good but this is a big safety hazard. I tried one more time. I should have learned my lesson. The new picture are the ones with the hair. Yes hair.

The food didn't really stand out more than just another casual Chinese takeout spot. But their business hours and the fact that a hard hitting late night munchie after "forgetting" to eat the whole day with an empty fridge led me here - I'll bump them up to 4 stars. I'll be honest when I say that I found it rather weird walking into an establishment empty of customers and a full amount of staff behind the counters (5 in the kitchen, 3 up front). I tried to order from their kiosk, which didn't work, so ended up still having to chat with the kid at the counter who looked away the whole time while speaking under his breath. A little confused and very hungry, I finally asked him to recommend a tofu dish he'd eat...and he literally without a blink of an eye starts naming all the tofu dishes off the menu. Lol. Ok, here we go. It's probably hunger hitting hard and the sugar dipping too low that I finally just ordered away. Food came out really fast (note number of staff in kitchen; plus, it's a Chinese kitchen...with that number of staff), packed nicely and got me back on the road home. I didn't think twice as I ripped into the bag seeking hunger reprieve. Tofu with bamboo shoots? Ooh, not bad. Beef with Snow Peas? Tastes good except for the part that you over slurried it...total noob mistake. House fried rice? Let's just say Uncle Roger won't roast you. Will I be back? Maybe. But only when that late night munchie hits again and I've got nothing in the fridge to save a life.

My family has been ordering from Feng Shui since it opened, but the last few times it seems to have rapidly gone downhill. Last time my family ordered from this establishment, a staple was found in our rice. Accidents happen, and we reached out to them about it and they offered us a credit on our next order. This Christmas Eve, we decided to give it another shot and also wanted to ask about the credit in our order. Upon calling to place the order, the FOH said we “could not apply a credit because it was too busy”. What’s the point of offering a credit for future orders if you won’t honor it? The food was subpar from this evening. The fried shrimp was raw, as well as the beef teriyaki. The chicken seemed ok, although the wings were overcooked and we didn’t get a staple in this batch of fried rice so I guess they are getting better. The potential of getting sick is better than having a piece of sharp metal in your stomach. Anyway we will probably not return, since they might offer us another credit, but will refuse to honor it. I also included an odd fortune cookie that although not malicious, is just a strange thing to get in one, but that’s subjective.

We are very happy to report that Feng Shui Kitchen is our go-to Chinese restaurant. They are known for their takeout but they have a couple of tables along with window counter seating. Everything arrived hot and delicious. The Feng Shui Sampler (For One) was enough for two people and I couldn’t even touch my main course (poor me). I now have amazing leftovers. I did try a few bites of the Beef with Mushrooms which had a lot of flavor and large portion. My wife really enjoyed her Home Style Tofu with broccoli dish. The Spring Rolls were huge and my wife also enjoyed them. Many orders were placed, delivered and picked up while we dined here. We were the only dine-in people during our meal. Highly recommend.

The food was pretty good. There was a lot of flavor and things were not too greasy as some of the other reviews and stated. We would definitely come back here and eat again from here. We had a variety of their food and everything came out delicious.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Panda House. The Mongolian beef was a letdown—there was barely any meat, and it was overloaded with onions and peppers, making it feel more like a vegetable dish than anything else. The pork fried rice was equally underwhelming, with almost no pork and very sparse vegetables. For the price, I expected much better quality and value. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

This is the best chill out bar around. The lounge area is sick. Food is also very good. And of course, the staff is lovely

Rice was burnt, egg roll was overcooked, low mein tasted old. Genuinely thought some food tasted good but it all tasted either old or overcooked. Not worth 40 dollars. First time trying and sadly the last…

We showed up at 10:25 on a night they close at 11. We were on home from the airport. We expected okay food and service. What we got was super fresh food and amazing service. We got the Tidbit #1 and Fries. So fresh we had to let it cool down. Amazing. We will be back.

I ordered here twice, it was good! however, its too oily. greasy. the friend rice, you can taste the oil. but it was still good.

Used to be our go to place for Chinese. We ordered at least every week. Since they've raised their prices so much it's just not affordable for our family of 4. One box of combination appetizers went from $10+ to $15.95. It's too bad because the service was great and they always accommodated us for substitutions. Also the fact that they don't deliver anymore is disappointing. We really miss the 88..

88 used to be a small "hole in the wall" type place for easy pick up. I'm not sure if they changed owners, but the food quality has gone downhill. Even a basic plate ribs. rice, chicken fingers and crab Rangoon is so bland that you don't want to save anything for leftovers. $40.00 I'll never get back (and won't return to).

This is a tucked away restaurant. It’s a great place with a menu so huge you just go for the Buffet. There is plenty of seating. If you’re treating a bigger group the price of the buffet is super reasonable. Under $20. The food is fresh and tasty. The tempura has a wonderful light crunch and flavor. The crab Rangoon is delicious. I didn’t realize soup came with the buffet and was disappointed the waiter didn’t ask me if I wanted any. The dessert is a little sparse, but it’s really about the main course.

This place is a hidden gem must go !!! Yearly tradition love the buffet style and the service is outstanding!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE…Jade has been our go to spot for Chinese food for the last 6 years. When we started going it was on point. As time passed little things started changing wrong orders, watered down hot mustard, less filling in the crab rangoons and of course prices went up. Yesterday they lost our business forever. Called for a pickup our usual order. When we arrived my boyfriend ran in to grab the order and the owner says it is getting delivered he asked how much it was and he quoted $8 more than what we usually pay. He comes to the car with no food and lets me know they decided to deliver the food. He is not firm, so I went in side. He basically was not taking responsibility for their mess up and wanted me to go back home to get my food and pay for delivery and he wouldn’t even look me in the eye or come up with a solution. DISGUSTING!! Keep your OVERPRICED Chinese food.

Way overpriced and it’s not even great not to mention charging me $5.30 for a 2 L of soda. talk about legally robbing their Customers.if you want good Chinese food at a good price go check out Jade gourmet in Wakefield it’s definitely worth the trip. Now that’s the best Chinese food around, go check them out

This place was delightful! The pricing and food was better than anything I have gotten in or around Boston. We got the Plum Duck which was excellently cooked and Lamb and Scallion dish. The beef teriyaki was amazing! Will be back next time we go to Kimball Farms.

Lunch Buffet: good variey snd flavors but not refreshed/replenished and stuff got cold and unappetizing. Go at noon, no later.

First of all I never like leaving a negative review except when one is well deserved. I have been going to this restaurant for over 27 years and the previous owner held it down great. I ordered take out food AD2 Thursday night and I placed the order from the bar as no one was at the front desk. Went in ordered the food from Vinnie (bartender) and had a drink while waiting. Drink was good, get home to eat my food and noticed the rice looked like oatmeal mush... tried a bite and it was so gross tasted like it was 2 weeks old and reconstituted with water and microwaved. Crab rangoon were the only thing fresh as the egg foo young tasted old as well. I called the HK to complain to them about my findings and they questioned where I ordered the food from meaning the bar or the kitchen. I told them the bar so they transferred me to the bar and I spoke to Vinnie and he apologized stating he would give me a free rice next time I visit. My understanding is it appears they sell the old outdated food to bar patrons who they assume maybe to intoxicated to realize so they deflected it to the bar.... not a good business practice and probably my last time ordering anything from there.... I will say many eateries have gone downhill since the pandemic and it is sad.....save your money, stomach and health! Gross food! Beware!

Ordered two all day specials - General Gau Chicken and Sesame Chicken. Both dinners were inedible with basically just fried batter and a few tiny pieces of dark meat. One meal even melted through the food container by the time we brought it home. Rice was very lackluster. Would not recommend.

We went with a Recreation Department run hike group of 16 and we were told they would only give us separate checks if we sat at separate tables so we went to the Purple Bamboo and as all the other restaurants in town they were happy to do separate checks and they added 20% to the tip and the service and food was so good we added extra money to the checks to the tune of around $750 dollars. The owner of this place is both arrogant and a fool for letting us leave (an almost completely empty restaurant) to go to eat at another restaurant in town. Non of us will ever return 👍

Typical Chinese restaurant style decor. Typical Chinese menu. I normally buy fried rice as a lunch since I work in the area. It's always good, piping hot and fresh since I go at 11:30 am. At that time, the service is fast and food fresh.
