Clean, neat restaurant. Great Customer Service with a Smile ☺️😁. Hot, Fresh Food made to order. Easy to park. TasteeToo!!! Mongolian Beef, Pork Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls were great.

Lunch time is my favorite. Quiet ambience, one of the few restaurants in the East Bay where I can actually hear so well! I have ordered many things on the menu and never have been disappointed. The service is attentive and friendly. Good too, for a larger group. And I like the view of the green and peaceful hillside.

I just ordered some pot stickers to go. They were ok, but not great. They included a spring roll which made the very small order of pot stickers tolerable. The one-person staff was very nice.

The place is a bit torn down. I talked to the guy in charge (who's not confident in his english), he said it was robbed this year. The food was not even average, I ordered the famous "Lion King" and i could tell that the fish they used in it was probably the cheap kind of Salmon. Overall, 3/5

Very delicious and affordable American style chinese food. I always get the 4 item box, every time it's packed full. For less than $15 you can easily get 3 full meals out of this option. Honestly almost 4 meals. They always have the options you want like noodles, fried rice, orange chicken, broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork... don't sleep on the sesame chicken either. The value here is pretty unbeatable in my eyes. Quality has been more than acceptable for what it is too. Service is always prompt and friendly even when busy, which it usually isn't too busy. Inside isn't much going on but there is seating. I always get food to go.

Everything you want in a fast Chinese take out place. Yummy food. Big quantity and inexpensive. My only complaint wish they put more char siu sauce on their bbq spare ribs but otherwise a very good restaurant.

I needed wholesome food fast, so I ordered take-out. I give it a 5 for taste and the quality of food and 5 for the service. They made it fresh and fast and the lady was really nice when I came to pay. But I give it a 4 for atmosphere because it was only 8pm the place closed at 9:30 and the place was completely empty. I was shocked because the pictures on the window look amazing and I thought it would be packed. It would be a nice place to have a big family dinner. I'll be back to try more.

I wanted 2 orders of shrimp fried rice and a order of mixed veggies. The old lady I guess can't understand English that well and thought I only said 2 orders of shrimp fried rice with extra veggies..... For the 2 shrimp fried rice plates I was charged $31.00 wow 😳 I didn't get my mixed veggies and was told I added more veggies for you. I'm thinking the veggies were inside wit the rice ..... For her more veggies meant more carrots and more green onions. Idk who eats a pile of green onions, let alone me being the type of person who really doesn't like carrots. I sent in my boyfriend to get my money back. Lady tried to act like she couldn't refund me my money acted like she didn't know how to give a refund, inspected the food to see if we touched it got mad like she was wanting to accuse us of already eating. Tried to have my boyfriend sign for my refund, I really don't think she should be taking orders. Have her just give out orders/drinks. Don't have her take orders. Don't have her accept payment for orders. I just don't see how anyone can mess up what I said. 2 orders of shrimp fried rice and a order of mixed veggies. Instead I got 5lbs of rice, a mountain of green onion nasty carrot shreds, and 3 shrimps in each container. Smh 🙄 they still haven't given me back my money. Absolutely ridiculous

Great place to have a good time with family and friends, the food is delicious and fresh.

LyLuck is now under new ownership. Dine in is available again and they are open 7 days a week now. The food still tastes great like before. There has been a change of menu items, so check the menu carefully. I have provided the new menu in my photos. My takeout order today was my usual order in the past which is still on their new menu. Glad to have their dining area open again. Good luck to the new owners.

We love getting take out from the Flower Lounge. They have the best hot and sour soup in the Bay Area, that includes chicken and shrimp. We love their fried rice and we regular get a vegetable. All the vegetables taste fresh and are cooked perfectly. The staff is very thoughtful. I don’t think they have an order system, you just have to call in, but it’s definitely worth it.

I odered the orange chicken, thinking that this place would be better and fresher than the place around the corner, but it was so hard to eat, i think they reheated it and dumped sauce on it. They gave us two day-old fried chicken. No good! Never going back!

I am very confused as to why this restuarant is one of the highest rated restaurants in Monclair! The rating is what lead me to choose this restaurant as a lunch spot for my date and myself. The server/waiter was unengaged and not very attentive. Although the resturant was nearly empty accept for one lone diner, he had very specific idea of where e wanted us to sit without any openness top opposition. We spent a fair amount of time choosing our menu selection, making sure to find what we would most enjoy, but the food was nearly flavorless and lackluster. I mean, it was at most decent and not a total flop, but certianly not worth returning to especially considering the price (two entrees for a total of nearly $45 before the tip).

This place is amazing!! Flavor is on point in every dish we have had. This is our second time back and I can’t wait to keep trying new dishes. Absolute favorites so far are pork fried rice and sesame chicken but everything is amazing.

The two of us enjoyed a chicken and prawn lunch special with soup and tea. The soup was delicious, the tea was lovely and the entrees were fresh, well prepared and perfect portions. The service was friendly and there was no rush to order or leave. A thoroughly delightful experience and we will be back to try other dishes.

I recently stopped by a restaurant for a quick lunch and decided to try their lunch special. The special included a main dish, rice with an upcharge option for egg fried rice, a slice of orange, and soup. I opted for the broccoli beef with egg fried rice. While I found the food to be fine and the staff to be friendly, I didn't enjoy the soup's flavor. A thing to note is that they gave me a small fork.

I work nearby and ordered some take out and they made it so fast. Incredible considering how extensive the menu is! The seafood pan fried noodles was delicious and super fresh!

Authentic Cantonese food, great value and most of all great service. We had clay pot rice and they make their own preserved meats. The restaurant looks clean for Chinatown so it’s worth a try.

I get it some people want the familiar but the choice of eating here is so weird when you’re across the street from the freshest cheapest veggies and best Chinese food perhaps in the country. Why pay more to destroy your taste buds with Panda Express when you can have genuine cheaper real Chinese food a 5 minute walk away? But for suburban relatives that visit just do it to make them happy. 😊 I got stomach upset last time I had Panda Express and Oakland Chinatown dim sum is a good antidote

You’ll find a few Karen’s complaining but it’s a fast food chain for Pete’s sake. Lower those expectations my guys. There’s a few other food spots around but you can get in and out quick here. It’s hit or miss with specific entrees you want sometimes but there’s plenty of options. I like when people complain and make a scene for the entree instead of the other 20 things you can get. I will say the chow Mein has lost its touch. Kinda doesn’t have any flavor whatsoever.

We went on. Friday around 5:00 before dinner rush. The main course food was great especially seafood . However, the whole salad section was only chunks of lettuce and cucumbers. No variety of desserts and they were out of two of them while we were there. The 6 tubs of ice cream were empty. When I told the receptionist, she didn’t seem to care or there wan’t much she could do about it.

Adequate buffet, good value for seafood lovers. When you enter, you'll be greeted and you'll pay $27 per person. The seating forms a U-shape around the food area. I decided to sit in a booth, but there were tables and chairs available too. They seemed reasonably clean and I spotted an employee wiping tables. There isn't a vast selection of food, but there is a variety. The fries were too salty and not crispy, the Jell-O was a bit chewy like there wasn't enough water used, the chow mein and fried rice were decent, the ice cream had to be scooped with the tiniest scoops I've ever seen and didn't have the flavors labeled, and the beef (?), lumpia, and fried chicken were really chewy. The pizza wasn't good, but was edible. The items I enjoyed were rice pudding, California roll, a green ice cream, and fried plantains. The ice cream didn't taste like any flavor, but it was good. Surprisingly, the California rolls tasted like they were made with real crab. Speaking of seafood, they have plenty of it. I don't like seafood, but I know it's sort of expensive, so I'd recommend coming here if you want to fill yourself up on it. I'd avoid the sashimi though. Other reviewers have said that the food is cold. During my visit, the cooked foods weren't piping hot, but I could feel through the plate that they were warm and they cooled down a bit after I had walked around the food area. The restroom didn't smell bad, but it had graffiti and some of the partitions were rusting. At least there was hot running water. Most of the customers seemed to be families. At $27/person, this restaurant is an affordable place for groups to fill up on foods that are barely a step up from the Burger King across the street. I don't expect much from buffet restaurants. This restaurant isn't great, but it's not horrible, which is why I'm rating it three stars. I don't plan on visiting this place again, but I wouldn't dread coming here.

they didnt give me any of my teriyaki sauce, instead gave me 4 chilis and 2 soy sauce, i put in my online order at 12:05, according to the receipt, the order was "completed" at 12:14, yet here I am receiving it an hour later at 1:16. my large lemonade got replaced with a coca cola and and the chow mein has obviously been sitting for a while yet the teriyaki and string bean still feel warm. my question is why mark an order as complete when it's not? not the first panda ive ordered from that has done this, but it will be the last. ive ordered from 4 different stores and they have all done this. completely absurd. however this time i was slight more patient given how its lunch time, however i have ordered at different times for it to still take over 30 minutes for them to even complete my order to begin with. too bad 0 stars isnt possible.

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but sadly Google won’t let me. I’ve always had very bad experiences at this store, ranging from a crappy intercom, unfriendly demeanor of some employees, and frequent shortages in supplies. But what happened today was beyond belief. I ordered in the drive-through but didn’t mention the sauces because I took them as given, and I never ask for sauce until I went to the window to make a payment. After I paid, I asked for some sauce, and they said they only had soy sauce. I said I can deal with not getting the other types of sauces, but I really need the teriyaki sauce, and they said they don’t have it. I told the employee that I don’t want the food and asked for a refund, and she said, “Give me a second,” and went away. While I was expecting some type of excuse to deny me a refund, which I didn’t really think was possible, she came back and gave me a packet of the very teriyaki sauce she just said they were out of. I was very surprised. I exited the drive-through because there were people waiting in line after me, parked my car, and went inside to try to speak to someone about the situation, but I saw another employee telling a customer that they don’t have any sauce at all. Anyways, I talked to one lady, but she had trouble understanding English, so I decided to leave the store because it seemed fruitless. Come on, Panda, do better. Denying customers small packets of sauce that probably cost you a few cents is simply shameful. I will make sure to never visit this store again.
