The steak and cheese egg roll are great, but I had to order chicken wings. I wish I would’ve checked my food. Y’all really gave me these tiny half of wing/ whole chicken wing. 2 stars for the egg rolls that’s it.

The food I just received was cold. My fries are soggy and the chicken is old!!!!

P praise God the name of Jesus Christ China chef has been very disrespectful they had some good food ,at one time.. but they were very disrespectful.. don't even respect the minister man of God ,,you called them, and just let them know, that they shorted you or they food didn't look right and they cuss you out ,treat you real bad.. treat you like you're nothing,, like they can just take your money and just talk to you any kind of way don't appreciate there customers,, don't value there customers ,thats not right...have no professionals ways .I'm going to be real no matter what....they Rong& need to improve.impress me .if I ever buy from the store again

A very reasonably priced all-you-can-eat buffet with a large variety of good food. The lunch buffet is $11.99 ($10.79 for seniors). Hard to beat those prices. So many good things to try. Not their fault that my friends and I left groaning because we ate too much.

The food and service was horrible. I was continuously harassed by the servers and so-called management. I came for the lunch buffet because my grandbabies like their desserts. However the selections available of foods and desserts was not of the previous status as before. I was totally unsatisfied with everything. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate this restaurant as negative ten as far as food and service. I will never go there again. Try Golden Corral. The food and service is much better and more value for your money.

Being a customer at this carryout, I have noticed that there has been a dramatic change with their delivery service and I noticed that customers are being unapologetic and not being understanding. FYI when delivery service is backed up please be mindful that there is only one driver at this current time. Thanks... Your valued customer.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There is a Danny’s next door, another Chinese place on Livingston by Popeyes, and another one two lights up but do not go here. The OWNER is the worst person ever. Rude. I just complained about an order and she reminded me maybe 25 times she don’t care because she the owner. Yes the short lady with glasses. She got in my face. Thank god I’m not the same person! Instead I walked out and wrote this review. From this encounter I got she thinks customers need her food. Therefore, I just went to the next place to get wings. The disrespect from this owner deserve to be recognized.

I ordered chicken and broccoli. It tasted like cleaning supplies. I should have read the reviews before going there. I spit the food out and won't finish it. Plus the chicken tasted too rubbery. And I was hungry too! Really unfortunate because its near my house.

Ordered the double cooked pork. It definitely tastes several days old. It has a weird funky flavor like when you leave your food in the fridge for days and it gets a sweet yet awful sour taste. Smells how it tastes. The fried rice is very bland and doesn’t look fresh either. Shrimp was good though. The cold sesame noodles were the worst. I believe they slapped peanut butter with a bit of sesame oil on the noodles. It’s goopy and absolutely difficult to eat. Needless to say, the food was not finished and I ended up eating homemade food. Guess it was a sign.

Late night munchie spot with the subs i be getting all the time. They small but clean and the food good at a good price. They have drinks available like beer and soda. The menu is simple and is straightforward. Good experience but make sure to add up your order before you pay to make sure you not getting overcharged. 4 stars maybe I might stop by for a lunch special.

I honestly can’t tell if people are being blackmailed into writing one-star reviews for this restaurant or if their experiences were just that bad, but I completely disagree with the low ratings! While Golden House Chinese Restaurant doesn’t offer indoor seating, they more than make up for it with their incredible food. I’ve been coming here for a long time, and it’s about time I left an honest review. The food here is simply AMAZING. I’ve ordered the orange chicken and sesame chicken several times, and every single time, I’ve been blown away by the flavor and quality. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a quick bite that doesn’t compromise on taste, I highly recommend Golden House Chinese Restaurant. It’s easily one of my favorite spots to grab delicious Chinese food. Quick note: I ordered my orange chicken with no broccoli. :)

The spot is small, no seating, not that near, but it’s made for takeout. Although I have no business eating this junk food it tastes pretty good. Customer service is good, workers are friendly. Speedy service. Portions are good for the price.

A Complete Letdown If I could rate this place below one star, I truly would. The presentation upon arrival was shocking—unappetizing and carelessly thrown together. The chicken rice noodles were tasteless, unseasoned, and lacked any redeeming qualities. The chicken was somehow both uncooked/overcooked in appearance— flaccid.The noodles soggy, and the overall flavor was a greasy, bland mess. This place should not consider itself a restaurant—it’s clear they lack the basic knowledge of cooking and food prep. Having had a much better version of this dish at Meiwah in Chevy Chase, I deeply regret not making the trip there instead. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better spot.

What a great local, no frills Chinese take-out restaurant! We had been looking for an affordable, fast but tasty American-Chinese cuisine and Golden House fit the hill! We ordered several dishes including beef with broccoli, Chinese eggplant with chicken, moo shi vegetables, pork lo mein, and spare ribs. All dishes were made correctly and delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We ordered on Uber eats it’s absolutely disgusting. Even the spring rolls are an edible. The chicken I ordered is beyond my imagination. It looks like it comes out of a dog pâté box. Gross

AWFUL! Roast pork fried rice was greasy; seasoned with onion only - no vegetables. The tofu in the hot and sour soup was not fresh; moreover, the soup's flavors were not balanced. It was discarded. FOOD was delivered within the stated time frame.

After moving nearby I knew I needed to try this restaurant and I’m glad I did. The lo mein is fantastic and the perfect dinner after a long day. I ordered delivery so unfortunately I didn’t experience the service but if it is half as good as the food then I’m sure it’s amazing.

Food it's so delicious, especially shrimp broccoli 🥦 People are very kind. I have never been disappointed. Only thing it's that they should remodeling and paint the lobby, to make it look more presentable and nice.✅️✅️✅️

He over charged me on purpose and lied about it. I was charged $12 for 4 wings and fried rice on the menu the price was $9. Total rip off. I confronted him and he lied. I will not come back.

Has delicious Chinese food, their steak & cheese egg rolls are great! Some weird people hang around there though. I'd definitely call and order to be in and out of there. Don't do the delivery, they take over an hour to get your food. Guy calls and tells you to get out of your house. Still expects a big tip, even though your food is cold and he won't get out of his car.

Is always good to buy hot food and the best china restaurant i have been at.
