House of Lee
I’ve patronized this place for many years and the food had been consistently delicious. For the last few months the food hadnt been that great but last night I stopped in and my order was amazing! Just like old times. Not sure what happened those last couple of times but I’ll be back again for takeout.
This is the worst restaurant that I’ve ever been to. I used to come here 10 years ago and the food was good but today I ordered three dishes and they were all horrible. Specifically, the shrimp egg foo young. It was covered with a thick tasteless chalky soup gravy that taste bad. My husband had two others dishes and said that he would never go there again. This used to be our go to restaurant years ago but it’s definitely not the same.
Asian Wok Restaurant
Fast for lunch and tasty classics. Adding the menu here for those interested in supporting the locals~
They have great food. Fast delivery. And I did a large order for a family get together and they were willing to have it done an hour before they officially open.
The Orient Restaurant
Food was pretty solid. Never had sesame chicken without sesame seeds, but still good. Didn't get pictures of the sushi, but very solid. Got Volcano and the lacey (I think?). Both good. Huge entree portions.
Very nice restaurant. I will be returning. I believe the owner took my order. It was packaged securely so nothing spilled in the car. My wait time was less than 10 minutes during off-peak times. I ordered the small Mongolian Beef and a small Egg Drop soup. They even added a side bag of crispy strips for my soup! Everything was very very delicious!! I've tried many Chinese cuisine restaurants around White Marsh, Essex, and Nottingham and this place is the best by far. Both for great quality food and atmoshpere. The owner was extremely nice and polite. He told me they recently renovated too. The owner should be proud of his accomplishments :)
Super Wok
I walked in and the place was clean. The cashier took My order and was pleasant and helpful. I ordered the Orange Chicken with Fried rice instead of white rice and an Egg Roll, instead of charging me separately, she suggested the combo and saved me money. The food came out quick and I was able to sit and eat in the restaurant. The Food was so good.
I love superwok. The owners are extremely friendly. She always gives me candy for my daughter and my food is always delicious and perfect. It isn't a sit down place so don't expect it to be glorious but the flavor and customer service of this place will keep you coming back for more. Highly recommended.
New Han Dynasty Restaurant
I ordered the Orange Chicken combo for $14.95. It came with the chicken, chicken fried rice, egg roll, egg drop soup and some chip things. Everything was very very good except for the chips, lacked flavor to me, but were just a bonus. Will be trying again!
This sushi was amazing!!!! If I remember correctly all of this was about $25, totally worth it. This has definitely become my new spot for sushi. It tastes delicious, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly.
Bob's Shanghai 66
This place has officially ruined all other Chinese restaurants for me!! The food is some of the best Chinese food I've had and the service is very quick once you get seated... There was a 10 minute wait when we arrived on a Sunday, but it wasn't too bad considering how goo the meal is... We've tried the spicy pork dumplings, the original soup dumplings, the scallion pancakes and my picky son had the Shanghai noodles with shrimp. Everything was delicious and came out hot and quick.
This Chinese restaurant is delicious! We were in the area and decided to stop by here because they indicated that they had soup dumplings. The chow fun was delicious and had the right burn that I would expect. The noodles themselves were also extremely fresh. I would get again. The fried pork dumplings were good for what they were, but the had a thick wrapper and didn't really have a crisp that you would get from a fried food. This is more Northern Chinese style so that is typical of that region, but I wouldn't get the fried dumplings again. Lastly, we got the regular house special soup dumplings. These were amazing and they had a ton of soup in them! I would 100% come back here for the soup dumplings alone. Highly recommend and would want to try out a few other menu items next time I stop by.
East Pearl Restaurant
We went to this restaurant as a group. This restaurant serves Hong Kong or Cantonese style foods. The food was good. We tried many dishes family style and shared. The fried pork belly stood out as the group's favorite. The string beans were my favorite dish.
Very good place for authentic Hong Kong style food and atmosphere. Tastes amazing and a great place to go with family or friends. The staff are nice and get the food out fast. Highly recommend going with friends or family, the bigger the group the better.
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
Ordered House Special Fried Rice to eat in. The interior is spartan, with an unused buffet taking up space and bicycles parked next to it. Walls need painting. No tapwater available, only bottled water for sale. The House Special Fried Rice wasn't -- it was yellow rice that was not stir-fried, which is the entire appeal of fried rice. It had a smattering of proteins but no egg and the rice was entirely tasteless.
First time I went there I got the Singapore mei fun which was decent so I decided to try them again tonight. I ordered a regular general's tso chicken which tasted very bland and such a small portion for 12 bucks. I'm glad they offer plenty of sauce packets, you'll need it if you order it. General tso's chicken: 6.4 out of 10 Chicken fried rice was just yellow rice with sauteed onions and chicken, nothing remotely looked like it was fried. I'll give it a 4.1. The egg roll was decent even though it wasn't crispy. With a little help of the spicy mustard and made it a 7.1 which is generous It's in downtown Easton so parking can be limited. They do have some tables inside on one side of the buffet which looks like it's being used for storage and on the other side of the buffet is storage for bicycles.
KungFu Kitchen
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the exceptional service to the incredible food, every moment was a delight. The highlight of my visit? The shrimp dumplings—absolutely bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted. I also tried the shrimp and chive dumplings, and they were just as delicious. If you appreciate high-quality, expertly prepared dumplings, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon.
Our party had a great time at kungfu kitchen. The staff is friendly and every dish we shared was amazing. I especially recommend the cumin lamb. We tried century egg for the first time and it was great. Good portion sizes
Sichuan Jin River
Located in downtown Rockville, Maryland, Sichuan Jin Restaurant specializes in authentic Sichuan cuisine. My wife and I have been loyal customers for over 20 years, and our recent visit reminded us why. Don't expect fancy decor or ample seating, but if you crave spicy Chinese food, especially Sichuan dishes, this restaurant delivers. Sichuan Jin's standout features include homemade-style cooking with generous portions, making it ideal for intimate gatherings with family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Sichuan flavors through every dish. During our recent visit, we ordered four dishes, including the delicious beef noodle soup and a dessert: crispy pumpkin cake with sweet red bean paste. A must-try! Consider try it before dinner – you won't regret it. The price was approx. $50 per person, well worth it considering the generous portions and leftovers. Overall, I strongly recommend Sichuan Jin Restaurant for Sichuan food enthusiasts.
The food was super delicious!! Everything was quick and service was great and prices were so affordable. I highly recommend this place for Chinese food. There is a wide selection of choices to choose from.
Golden House Restaurant
Food was good, not great. I got the sesame chicken and it was just the sweet and sour chicken with sauce on it. The fried rice was okay, the white rice was better. The fried crab rangoons were honestly really good. I would highly recommend them if you stop here.
My husband ordered me a combination dinner of the house lo mein. This dinner comes with eggroll, pork fried rice, and choice of soup. When I opened the bag, there were containers of lo mein and won ton soup - no eggroll or pork fried rice. I called the restaurant and told the cashier what happened. He first said my husband was breaking up on the phone, and he couldn’t hear him. Then he said that my husband had ordered just a full order of wonton soup and lo mein. That was not what I got as the won ton soup container was a small one. He then he changed his story and said he repeated the order back to my husband which I don’t see how he could if the call was breaking up. I told the cashier I did not get what I ordered. There was no attempt on the cashier’s part to make things right. We ended up paying $17 for an order of lo mein and a small container of soup. I will never order from them again. China Moon and Szechuan House are better establishments who care about their customers.
P.F. Chang's
Always great food. Our server was nice & attentive. I will admit, I prefer the old sauce for the lettuce wraps. Not happy they changed it, But everything was so good, that it doesn't take away from the overall experience.
I have been to this location countless times over the years since it opened, and this was by far the best experience I have had. My “fake daughter” took me out for my birthday, which is Christmas Eve. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. The server, Jake, came right over and welcomed us. These days, it’s rare to find servers who genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs and give honest opinions on the menu. We ordered drinks from the bar and his recommendations for appetizers. As someone who has favorites pretty much everywhere I go, it made me a little nervous, but he was spot on with his descriptions. I can never remember if I like the Crab Rangoon at different restaurants, but he assured us they are delicious and people always love them. As you can see by the empty plate pic (oops!), he wasn’t wrong! I ordered the Rising Dragon Cocktail, which was a fancy drink with a fun presentation, and a sprig of fresh rosemary, my favorite! It was delicious. I did stick to my regular, Mongolian Beef. I just love that it’s crispy, but not dry, tender, but not stringy, and has just the right amount of spice. It was cooked perfectly that night, and they didn’t forget the extra sauce I always ask for. My “daughter” ordered the Orange Chicken, if I’m not mistaken (possibly the Crispy Honey), and loved that as well. We sent our compliments to the chef. After our meal, we went to the bar, where the bartender, Jayson, also joined in the festivities and made me another delicious drink (or two!) that I can’t remember the names. (Don’t worry, I wasn’t driving!) As I said in one of the captions, if anyone has a Christmas birthday, they know it’s not often they’re made very special. I was expecting a crowded restaurant with slow/busy service, but as slammed as the Christmas season is, they went out of their way to make it beyond special! This night was all around perfect, I can’t thank you all enough!
