SmoQ-N-Meat BBQ
Lobby could use some more decor as it seemed bare, but the owner was so nice and very friendly about explaining the menu and had a fantastic music selection playing. The brisket mac and cheese was so good I couldn't think about any other food for the rest of the day! Also got an order of brisket sliders and burnt ends. The House BBQ sauce was phenomenal and great for dipping my fries into. The chef hooked me up with some fatty meat as I love the fat and was even kind enough to let us try the lemonade and tea... we loved both and got a cup of each! Great service and great food. Stopped here when traveling back to WV from PA, and it was awesome! Perfect algorithm find on Google Maps when I searched up BBQ near me when traveling. A neat thing in the lobby was a map where he had people put a pin where they're from when they came to eat there. So cool! Would recommend to anyone near or far!
Great spot! The gentleman was in there working alone. Taking & making orders. Yet he was able to maintain a great attitude and served our food to us with LOVE! Would DEFINITELY come back again…all the way from NYC! Brisket goes crazyyyyy!
Mandarin Express, Chinese Halal Restaurant
I ordered the chilli chicken and General Tso's along with fries. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The chili chicken in particular was flavorful and had the perfect blend of veggies and chicken. The service was also very good. The guy behind the counter was friendly and answered my questions patiently. I'll definitely be back.
Good portions. But I explicitly asked for spicy fried rice with extra soy sauce. The fried rice is completely bland with no flavor. The chicken is also not seasoned at all. They may have other better options but I would not recommend the fried rice.
China Wok
Just started coming here and this is definitely are new go to place for Chinese food! Food is always fresh and hot, portion sizes are very large and prices are lower compared to other places in the area. The combo meals are enough to feed 2-3 people. So glad we found this place !
I came here nearly 20 years ago and never left. A Tribute to the Family That Became My Own I've been coming to this Chinese restaurant for nearly 20 years, and what started as a simple visit for a meal has turned into a bond that has deeply enriched my life. It all began when I was a mechanic and the family brought in their car for repair. I remember them facing a frustrating situation with a mechanic who had claimed there was an animal in their car, and when they came back to pick it up, the car only drove up the street. To make matters worse, the shop was closed, and they had already paid for the repairs. Even in that stressful situation, I saw their kindness, and I’ve watched them grow from that point. Over the years, I became more than just a customer—I became a friend. I came in frequently, sometimes every other day, to share meals, help with the boys' homework, and simply enjoy their company. The family was incredibly generous and their kindness extended beyond the restaurant. They were more than just a family running a business—they became my second family. The Singapore Mei Fun and the Hot and Sour Soup at this restaurant are unmatched. I've traveled across four different states, trying many Chinese restaurants, but none compare to the flavors and warmth I find here. The food is just a part of the experience—the true beauty lies in the connection we’ve formed. Through the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to celebrate Christmases, birthdays, and other special occasions with them. I’ve shared in their joys and milestones, and they’ve shared theirs with me. Occasionally on holidays, I would bring a card, and sometimes they’d surprise me with one as well. The moments we’ve spent together have been the highlights of my life. These wonderful people have taught me much about love, acceptance, and community. My time with them has shaped me in ways words can hardly describe. In my own small way, I’ve tried to show my appreciation by helping around the restaurant—cleaning windows, fixing things when needed, and even offering a hand with repairs at their home. I hope these little gestures have conveyed even a fraction of the immense gratitude I feel for them. When I eventually leave this earth, I want them to know just how much their friendship has meant to me. I will forever be thankful for their generosity, their kindness, and the love they’ve shown me over the years. I wish them nothing but the best in all they do. Thank you for being a part of my life
Panda Express
Ordered two orders of double walnut shrimp with fried rice. As I don’t live anywhere near this store, it was not in my best interest to return back and dispute in-person. Had one of the two orders for lunch. Had half of the second order for dinner. Somehow, the meal was not satisfying as I was accustomed to at a different location. Rice had lumps, shrimp was cold and did not taste fresh from the stove. It did appear that big rice and shrimp may have been leftovers from previous day and as such me being an early morning customer was its recipient. I did feel the after effects the following morning. I spent considerable time sitting on the throne in the bathroom. Perhaps, I should have come in the middle of the day ensuring that the dish would be fresh off the stove. Food poisoning! Needless to say, i may not be returning back to this location.
My daughter went there last Friday, April 4, 2025. She got an absolute horrible case of FOOD POISONING that lasted over 2 days, with stomach cramps and vomiting the whole time. She finally had to go to the ER as her symptoms were only getting worse, not better. It was during lunchtime when the place was fairly busy, so food wasn't sitting out in the front but obviously had been in the back. She called and spoke to the manager, who didn't seem to care. Never, Ever, going back. Have reported them to the health dept!
Bo Bo Chinese Kitchen
I went to get takeout a couple of weeks ago and I keep forgetting to post the review. I like to try new restaurants, and I have a penchant for Chinese food! I ordered the general tsos chicken combo and crab rangoons. Extremely disappointed! Rangoons have very little filling, and they were pasty. Not what you expect! The tsos was overcooked but the sauce wasn't bad. Rice had an overwhelming taste from the frozen peas. I would recommend to drive around the corner and go to Asian boy. Still my favorite. I'm not being overly descriptive but once I got to this point I wasn't interested in going further.
I order Uber eats and door dash from here it is my favorite Chinese spot in Elkton MD beats the rest of the competition... the food is so good!
FLAME KABAB & GYRO
This location is very unpretentious and simple but the food is delicious and the guys behind the counter very much care about your experience. Parking is easy there are plenty of places to sit because it’s not that busy and again, the food was delicious you could spend many times here just trying different things and I don’t think you would find something you don’t like. Everything is a variation of beef, chicken, shrimp, and lamb. Excellent experience. The food was repaired fresh when I ordered it, and the wait was only a few minutes. They also have a good selection of desserts if you have a sweet tooth.
My first time there and I got 2 lamb gyro and a side of fries and you got a good portion of fries for the price! But the gyros were AMAZING! It had a huge amount of lamb on it! I was super pleased! My new favorite shop and will be trying the rice bowl next time!
Goodies Restaurant & Carryout
Food is very delicious and size portions even better.
My very and my very last time ordering from here… something is off Idk. I got beef and broccoli with white rice my sauce was sweet and just tasted off. 5/10
David Chu's China Bistro
Great food, excellent service, we were seated immediately, and our server attended to our needs efficiently without being excessively obtrusive. I had beef spare ribs (kosher place, no pork) and chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce. My wife shared, and she had egg drop soup. Delicious meal. The place was packed because it's Christmas Day. Service was prompt and efficient. Free parking lot out front. Wheelchair accessible. If you're looking for a kosher Chinese restaurant, David Chu's in Pikesville is the place. I recommend it.
Egg drop soup was good but we the wontons were pretty plain and just noodles. The soup was average but I also understand that it is a kosher eatery. Ordered the one soup item and came out to $15 which seemed steep. Overall, I would go again but would want to try other dishes to see if the soup experience was an outlier or the norm. The fried noodles or the Chinese casserole and Moo Goo Gai Pan loo la like other good dishes.
Wing Wah Restaurant
Chicken wings, chicken with mushrooms, onions & broccoli was delicious. The coleslaw they serve as an appetizer was really good as well.
The hostess was welcoming and pleasant.. comfortable seating. Food was wonderfully seasoned. Green tea served complimentary. I got the shrimp egg foo yung, my niece the shaken beef and broccoli, from the dinner menu which included an egg roll and soup of your choice, she got wonton, I ordered chicken and rice. No complaints. Plenty of parking in the rear
Jacky Chan
Hey this spot used to be like that when I was a kid. I came to get some wings and fried rice. Bad idea. The wings has a weird taste and the fried rice wasn’t fried, just smothered with onions. I never seen fried rice so yellow smh. The half n half pretty cool, get extra ice wit it.
I called my food in “ Shrimp Egg foo Young”. This was my first time eating chinese food here and it is very good. My food was made fresh and the lady on the phone was very nice!
American Asian
I love this place! I have never had a bad experience after eating here dozens of times. The lunch special is a great deal, today I tried the Mongolian Beef... the beef was tender and the flavor was on point. I've tried so many things and they're always excellent. Also have to call out the Singapore style fried rice, I get it with chicken, it's a must-try if you like curry.
The taste of pad thai was nice (good amount of hotness and other flavours). The quantity of chicken was enough as well. As always, lots of veggies in Red Curry. Good Cost to Quantity ratio. Would recommend this place for non veg noodles
A Asia Restaurant
I orders Udon noodle with. The texture was way off as if it wasn’t beef and the taste was spoil. The shrimp egg rolls were if they had sugar in them, very sweet.I was refused a refund and the customer service was egregious. If you want good customer service and good noodles I would highly recommend Wok in Wok out in Frederick and the beef have a nice chew. The beef at A Asia is extremely soft as if it’s another meat.
Food ready very fast, staff friendly and while we ordered carry out, dining area looked neat and clean. Food tasty and portions very ample. Vegetable spring rolls were crispy but oil flavor overpowered the limited filling. Singapore Chicken Rice Noodle with vegetables lacked vegetables other than a few wisps of carrot and onion. Beef Drunken Noodle also void of vegetable. Compare photos of what we were served to photos online. Not sorry but disappointed on lack of vegetables.
