Absolutely amazing food, you can taste the love and care that goes into preparing these dishes! It's fresh, flavorful and the hospitality is so welcoming. The young gentleman tending to customers was polite and happy to accommodate and serve us. The ladies in the kitchen were timely and diligent in preparing our plates. This place sets the bar high for any competition, keep it up!

The service and the food here was exceptional! The dumplings, soup and wrap that we got was so fresh and delicious both my husband and I finished every bite. Definitely will be coming back here on our next trip to Portland!

03/04/17: 4.5 out of 5 - It's a small eatery with big flavors. There's been some added items to the menu and a few more family members helping out. Although it's been a long while, the food and service is still good to go. If not sure what order in this Asian eatery don't fret. There are menus with pictures. So try this eatery once and decide for yourself. Enjoy! 12/2015: Family owned and operated, this place has a such a great variety that it's a great place for everyone and anyone. The place is simple, reasonably priced, has pictured menus for easy ordering, tasty foods and the people are friendly. You can eat in, get it to go or just call it in. Just be weary of the shared parking; it can be a bit tight. Otherwise, this place is a great eatery in SE Portland.

Consistently made dishes. Good portions and food comes out piping hot. Complimentary tea and water. Our go to dishes are the fried flour cakes, sate noodles, and kimchi or salted fried rice varieties.

The food is quite exquisite and well worth the price for its reasonable portions. The environment is clean and the staff is friendly. Would very much recommend eating over here every once in a while.

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding in every aspect! The food was a true delight – each dish showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients and expert culinary craftsmanship. The [specific dish, e.g., grilled steak] was particularly memorable with its perfect seasoning and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Crews are very kind and caring for customers. Owner lady is a very helpful and generous. Foods are good. We love sushi dishes. Dragon roll is a little bit spicy but so delicious and tasty. My kids love to eat ramen noodles, I ordered a General Tao Chicken and Lo mein noodles those were great and so yummy.!

I really enjoyed this lovely gem. The hot and sour soup was delightful, as was the rest of the food. Next time I am in Portland, I will have to come here again.

We have tried this place twice & both times great experience one dine in & second was take out . Nothing spilled & everything great portions . Will definitely be going back for dine in .

typical of what you'd expect for the restaurant but the food was definitely not what I'd hoped for. I got the kung pao chicken, expected something spicy. Very bland and unappetizing, I didn't ask for any modifications so this is how they normally prepare it. I would not eat here again, Panda Express has more flavor and is cheaper

Flavors were excellent and authentic! So many dishes I’ve never tried and then of course the classics I know and love! Will be back for sure.

09/01/2024 (Sun): The restaurant has a spacious and bright interior with about six round tables that seat eight people, making it perfect for large groups. We tried several dishes: Roasted Garlic Seafood Fried Rice in a Stone Wok ($18.95) Sizzling Ginger Oysters ($19.95) Szechuan Twice Cooked Pork ($18.95) Each dish was delicious, showcasing the chef's skill and flair. The oysters were large and plentiful, which was a nice surprise! 09/29/2024 (Sun) We ordered: Ma Po Tofu ($14.95) Farmers' Style Braised Pork ($18.95) Eggplant & Chicken Sauteed with Salty Fish ($18.95) Once again, everything was delicious, but personally, I wasn't a fan of the strong smell of the salty fish in the eggplant dish. However, aside from that, the dish itself was very tasty. As for Chinese restaurants, at least in my experience, they often have staff who aren't very friendly (sorry!). However, here, every staff member was smiling and very pleasant.

02/16/2025 (Sun) The food here is always delicious, and the chef's skills are excellent. Today, we decided to try some dishes we hadn't had before. We ordered Steamed Clams ($22.95), Sesame Beef ($21.95), Sautéed Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce ($17.50), and Seafood Crispy Noodles ($14.50). Each dish was quite generous in portion, and they all came with rice, so we were absolutely full. Personally, I liked the eggplant the most. As for the seafood crispy noodles, the version at East Harbor is much better. The beef had a strong flavor, so having it with rice was a must. The clams were actually quite large, more like hardshell clams, and since the sauce was simple, it might get a bit monotonous unless shared with a group.

Really great food with big portion sizes. The fried rice has that authentic wok hei flavor iykyk and the honey garlic spareribs were delicious. I also got the fried whole crab which was $45 for those who want to know. I'll definitely be back

The food is good the atmosphere is 30 years old 1 waitress and she kept forgetting our tea so that took forever she's pleasant but forgetful. If we come back another time we will get it to go we will definitely not be eating inside again

Yikes! I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews, maybe it's better in the restaurant and we got to go. Everything tasted so bland. We tried chicken lo mein, beef lo mein, salt and pepper shrimp, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef, and broccoli. There was hardly any beef in beef and broccoli. Salt and pepper shrimp were delicious, and everything else was a miss! The prices are outrageous for the actual lack of flavor. There are much better Chinese places in the neighborhood.

Absolutely awful! I’ve never had Chinese food that was prepared so poorly. Everything was flavorless. I don’t know how you can ruin fried rice … but everyone agreed that it was terrible. The sesame chicken arrived with no sauce for two orders. The “sauce” on the side was ketchup. The chunks of dried fried chicken tasted like the old oil that it was cooked in. The “spring rolls” were mushy and gross as well. The steamed dumplings arrived with no sauce and you guessed it … mushy with no flavor. We’ve all had great and not great Chinese food. But even the not great is still edible… this food was so bad that we chose to throw it away rather than eat it. So many better options. Stay away from this place.

I love this little gem 💎. The service is always great. Fresh ingredients. I'm obsessed with the Shrimp Kung Pao; shrimp is never overcooked, veggies still have their crunch and always a perfect heat!

This is our favorite go to authentic Chinese restaurant in Portland. The food is fresh, hot, and so delicious. The owner is very nice and knows us by name. It's nice to find a place in Portland where my family can order in their native tongue (Cantonese) and have a full conversation. Our favorite dishes that we pretty much always get is the salt and pepper fish, sweet and sour pork, and the Happy Family. We've tried many other dishes as well and they were all very good.

Also known as Chinese Delicacy, the menu features a nice selection of Chinese dishes. Not quite sure why there's Korean on the sign.

Kenny’s is the best spot for authentic soups, congee & other traditional Chinese/Hong Kong style delights. I’ve been coming here for well over a decade. The beef brisket wonton soup (add extra wontons) is out of this world! The chili oil they provide is the perfect compliment. You can chose from several different noodles, too, which is awesome! So thankful Kenny’s is still thriving as it’s truly an old school gem in the hood…

Kenny's Noodle house is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Cantonese noodles & wontons. They prefer you use cash but will still accept card. Three large and filling bowls will cost you $45~55 (without tip) and feed 3-4 people easily. They have lots of options and ample parking. They offer complimentary hot tea but also have a delicious homemade soy milk that can be served hot or cold. The soymilk is on the sweeter side so for those who like a less sweet one I would steer away from it. We ordered their braised beef brisket, shrimp wonton + noodles, & shrimp dumplings. We did not try their veggie appetizers but I am sure they are also very good too.

We bought seafood from a supermarket then came here to have the restaurant chef cooked them. They listed the cooking fees on the wall so there are so many customers bringing their seafood and let the restaurant cooking it. The cooking was perfect. Love all dishes.

This is a solid place to get some authentic Cantonese style food. We ordered a good amount of food to share among the table. Some of the standout dishes to me were the beef chow fun as it had a good charred/smoked flavor on the noodles, the pork rib sizzling pot had really good flavors, roast pork, and the sizzling beef. The veggie dishes were a good balance to the meat dishes (it was sad that they ran out of the seasonal veggies). My friends enjoyed the fish and the egg flower soup. The only dish that was mediocre to them was the calamari.
