Great food n really decent prices. The staff is pleasant enough and the atmosphere is relaxing. Only 4 stars because they don't seem to pay too much attention to detail of orders. The parts of my order that weren't modified came fine. However, despite requesting no onions in the lo mein for my daughter, there were onions in it, and we did not receive my side of rice, as the order stated it came with. Just check your order before you leave. Other than that an absolutely delicious place to eat.

We stopped in for a quick meal around 8 pm. General Tso with lo mein and black pepper chicken with rice. The food was great, and the service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

This is the place you keep going back to for staple Chinese take out. They might not be frilly, but the food is perfect every single time. My husband and I have eaten from here for 8+ years!

I don’t get the bad reviews because this is the best Chinese around. We typically get it delivered and it is always so delicious, fresh, and give generous portions. We never have had a bad meal here. They have great sesame chicken, General Tsos, broccoli with garlic sauce and beef and broccoli. The best of the best is their wonton soup 🤤! It hits the spot when you are sick!

Ordered crab ragoon, wonton soup, chicken & brocoli combo - all came out excellent. I will say I'm used to the crab ragoon being more stuffed & there being more chicken in the chicken & brocoli which also came with carrots for some reason but I can forgive them. Ordered delivery & it came very quickly, delivery fee a little high for someplace 1.5miles away plus tip made it 10$ more expensive but eh man needs to eat sometimes. AND again I forgive them, they are in a rural like area providing quality food, atleast from what I ordered.

As I was already in the parking lot, I took a last minute chance that I could get something to eat at closing time(literally 9:59). They were gracious and kind to suggest and fix a bowl of lomein with shrimp and chicken and charged less than $10. This meal was made even more delicious with the pleasant attitude, helpfulness and kindness of the staff that night. I recommend New China, 2 doors down from The Underground and will visit again, before closing time. Thank you for staying open till the advertised hours. Thank you for your kindness and good food.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my recent experience. I’m not from the area, but my son has basketball practice just a few minutes up the road, so I looked for a nearby spot to grab a bite while waiting. I walked into this restaurant with no expectations, just hungry and trying to support a local business. As soon as I stepped in, the owner (who I later realized was also the cook) greeted me with an extremely nasty attitude before I even said a word. I asked calmly, “Do I just seat myself?” and was met with a loud and rude “NO, no sitting!” I was taken aback by his tone and had to stop myself from reacting the same way. I politely asked why, and he said “No server.” I said, “Okay, I can order and pay, can I still sit and eat my food here?” He angrily shouted, “Takeout only!” as he walked back into the kitchen. Even if takeout only is the policy, there’s a much better way to communicate that. His whole energy made me feel completely unwelcome, and honestly, it felt personal. As someone who lives an hour away, I was hoping to find a spot I could frequent every Tuesday and Thursday while my son practices 4 mins away, but sadly, this won’t be it. I hope this place won’t be it for ANYONE!! Maybe this is why he has no servers… that kind of attitude would push anyone away.

This place really fail us lately. We got stuck wiring for an extremely long time for food. I understand 5 or 10 mins but over 30 mins past the time it was suppose to be ready is completely unacceptable. Please fix this issue.

We came to Chens for lunch on Christmas day. We have gotten takeout from here once and it was good. We were seated immediately and our server was with us quickly. We ordered spring rolls to start - they were good. We had black pepper chicken and mango chicken with brown rice. Everything was pretty good. Our server didn’t miss a beat. Prices are reasonable. There’s plenty of parking although the borough is doing construction right outside the restaurant so there is orange fencing and equipment but you can get in and out of the lot with no issues. Hopefully that road project will be done quickly.

Ate so fast I never got a pic of it all! Love Chen’s! Crab Rangoon’s, Golden Dragon Roll, Steamed Shumai, Spare Ribs and Shrimp Lomein and General Tao’s!

I literally have ordered a million times from here, I just won’t bother anymore. I ordered a great amount of food for them to never show up…. This gives a person a bad feeling no matter how much they want to support you! I’d rather take my business elsewhere than sit around waiting to see if my order will magically be around or not.

When they accidentally sent me the wrong food, I called them and they were very polite and sent the correct food item in only 20 minutes. That is excellent service! And the food was delicious as usual. 10/10 thank you for delicious food and fantastic service😊

Good food. Friendly service. Good prices. Quick to fill your order. Great place to grab some great take out food without the long wait. Give it a try.

The food was very good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Price is also good.

I purchased General Tso's chicken this afternoon for dinner. I have purchased from here for many years. The dish had very little flavor, and no spice. I was very disappointed

Great service, fast and tasty food. It's inside Giant, so not a place to sit and eat but definitely a great spot for a quick meal.

I see a lot of complaints about service, but the lady treated us perfunctory enough unlike the bad service I got for a $100 meal at Freshido in Linglestown! So her basic service is better than what I got for a $100 meal. My husband and son always get the lunch specials, which are fresh and they devour them in one sitting. I get the wonton noodle soup and made to order dim sun & sesame balls. It always tastes good and I'm picky about Chinese food. The one near my house, Hong Kong Ruby, is terrible.

Some of the best best Chinese takeout in the area. We live nearby and this place is always the best bet for good Chinese. We have found the service to be decent, but not friendly. Very businesslike, which is fine from the type of establishment. Prices are reasonable and the different dishes we have had have always been of good quality and flavor. We think they have the best wonton soup in the greater Harrisburg area. They are located in a small strip mall with parking out front. Limited seating inside, always looks clean whenever we enter. Overall, highly recommend for takeout!

I love eating here. The food is good and the problem is it seems like every time I want it they’re closed. I wish they had more employees so they could be open more so annoying.

Well prepared, delicious food. Generos portions Very clean restaurant, courteous. Indoor seating for large party. My lunch special is easily 2 meals

Food ( Egg Foo Young ) was good, no complaints. Generous portions. ( Especially the gravy ) What I am going to deduct points for though is the hidden service fee ! I paid inside at pickup in cash so why an extra dollar. The restaurant was definitely clean . Gave them 5 stars for that.

This use to be my favorite Chinese restaurant ever since they opened. Even when I moved to Fayetteville I would drive all the way to Spring Lake just to satisfy my cravings and today I found a maggot and a worm in my vegetable lo mein. I will not be returning and I suggest you go elsewhere!

This was a hidden gem. I love the selection because they offer Japanese and Chinese food. I really like the sushi 🍣. Try the green berret. The ramen 🍜 was good, but not my favorite. If you want to have a good meal with lots of options this is your place.

Went here for the first time today and the food was 10/10 in my opinion! I got the chicken lo-mein , tuna and yellowtail nigiri sushi, a Green Beret roll, and egg rolls and it was delicious! Not over seasoned or under cooked and the sushi was very fresh! The hostess was very friendly and welcoming as well! I’ll definitely be coming back!
