Well, if you would like a bag of greasy spilt food all over when you arrive home with no Utensils, then this is the place for you. Unbelievable! I guess business owner must not have any quality control...i place an order picked it up to take to a 12 hour shift and when i arrived at work 20 minute trip the containers they use leaked! All over inside the cheap bag on my car seat! NOT OK! I SPENT OVER $20 ON A MEAL that was a greasy mess! No napkins no fork just a big greasy mess! Oh and the time it took to clean it all up... wont be back to this place EVER AGAIN! also better add all that grease that was used in cooking kung pao chicken made it not so great in tummy town and that was only 1/4 of it i tossed the rest glad i did. What has happened to businesses anymore they tripled the prices and give you crap food and crap service and still expect tips!..

Hi , my name is Blake I’m a manager at Golden Corral so if you eat out some of you may know me. Obviously I deal with many customer complaints but I’ve never experienced this . Me and my family went to dinner with my dad here for dinner on Christmas Day and half way through the meal my step daughter pulled a finger nail from her mouth . We showed the manager before taking a photo because I was nice enough to give a chance to comp our meal since we weren’t going to finish . Instead the manager quickly discarded the nail and came back from the kitchen claiming nobody had nails in there . None of had nails , plus it was like half a nail . It would have been very hard to miss losing a finger nail that big . They tried to give us two of our meals free , since my dad had paid for us , he gave them the option he pays full price and never comes back , and we leave a review about the finger nail my step daughter could have choked on and how disgusting it is that she had someone’s nail in her mouth , or give us the meal for free . But Mary Christmas to us. It wasn’t right . So I’d be careful here , their cooks don’t seem to care when their nails fall out because there is no way they couldn’t have noticed , and their management really thinks that anyone would cut off their nail for a free meal on Christmas . I have money and a manager a restaurant I would never try to get a free meal if it wasn’t the right thing . So disgusting . I won’t eat here again as a protest of integrity and because I’m worried what else could end up in the food .

Love, love, love Corner of Tastes! I've yet to have anything that hasn't been incredible. My favorite might be the ping pong chicken, but I'm still working my way through the menu and enjoying every moment. The people here are wonderful, kind and considerate. They offer free soup while you wait.

First time coming here with my family. The food came out hot and in the amount of time that they stayed (

We went to Mar's Chinese on a Friday night around 7 pm. No waiting. Ordered the hot and sour soup, which was very well with the right amount of sour to flavor. The portion size was a lot bigger coming out in a small bowl. We also ordered the pot stickers, which were excellent. I think they are made on site and are some of the best I have had. Our main dish was the Kung pow shrimp, which we ordered mild. Flavors were good, and it tasted very fresh. Service was quick and friendly, and this was for $40 + tip.

We ordered 4 combos - 2 pork fried rice, pork chop mein, and fried shrimp, 1 rice, chow mein, and egg roll and 1 rice, fried shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken for 4 of us. All of us got at least two full meals out of our combos, it's a lot of food. Good amount of pork in the rice and chow mean, but the chow mein was more cabbage than noodles. My big problem though, is the egg rolls. What is all this black stuff inside?! It's extremely off putting and I couldn't eat them.

I have ordered from Green Tea for years, always consistently excellent food, this time the owner went above and beyond delivering my dinner in the snowy weather, can’t thank them enough.

We (my 17year old daughter and I) ordered 1/2 size chicken lo mein, 1/2 size crab puffs and 1/2 size sesame chicken. There was no meal that would accommodate what we were craving and it cost us almost $50. Everything was dry. There's no crab in the crab puffs. The sesame chicken barely had any chicken in it, it was mostly batter. And the chicken lo mein was just noodles with soy sauce, Panda Express is better. Save your money and goes to House of Bejing! We would have but they were closed. Never trust a drive through Chinese place. We thought we would give it a go but never again. We both threw up our dinner. After reading the reviews, I hope we don't get food poisoning.🤮

Very expensive for potion size. None of the dishes had a pleasant flavor. Placed an order for take-out and order was incorrect. When I called them back they stated "we made a mistake" oh well. Would not recommend. $80 for this and 80% was thrown away.

Had lunch. Food was not tasty. It came out on time but flavor was off. The temperature was OK. Veggies were cooked well. Part of the meats on my were over done. I was there with a friends; however, we had a reservation, prearranged. It was busy. I got my food but never received my beverage order, (hot tea). Restaurant was clean. Lots of parking.

The service here was quite pleasant and considerate! I did my customary tasting of pan-fried noodles and it was fairly decent and yummy. We also tried their general tso tofu which had an excellent if not really spicy sauce. Would be down to come here again should the opportunity present itself!

I hadn’t been here since they changed ownership. What a nice change! Food: 5/5 - there are 2 kinds of menus - Chefs Special (authentic Cantonese dishes)and Westernized Asian food. We had a hankering for authentic Chinese food. They did not disappoint! Thanks to ‘uncle’ who made us a delicious meal. Our favorite were the chicken chow fun and deep fried pork spareribs. They accommodated our requests to skip eggplant in one dish and to cook another dish less spicy. Atmosphere: 5/5 - place was newly renovated with new furniture and a fresh coat of paint. Clean & inviting place to dine whether it’s a small or bigger group. Service: 5/5 - our server was great and offered some suggestions. Overall I’ll definitely will be back when I am in the area again! If you want authentic Cantonese food, this is the place to go. Make sure you ask for the authentic menu.

Ordered vegetarian chow mein and received 98% bean sprouts, 2% broccoli. NO noodles. My husband didn't check before bringing it home. The spring rolls are OK.

Place could use some updating for sure. However, it did look clean. The staff was super nice and the food was great so I can't complain about that. They seem up really care about their food and customers. This was not our first time in. It definitely won't be our last either. Prices are good as well.

Golden City 0

Golden City is a Hazel Dell neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. The price is good especially since the portions are very generous! They were busy with lots of carry out orders and almost all seats filled on the evening we went.

I ordered Pot Stickers (6) for $7.75, Crispy Spring Rolls (2) for $2.75, and the Golden City Combination Fried Rice, which includes shrimp, chicken, and pork, for $7.75. The pot stickers were huge, packed with flavorful meat, likely pork, and even better with the pot sticker sauce. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy, filled with veggies, and complemented by the sweet & sour dip. The Golden City Combination Fried Rice was tasty, with a surprising amount of shrimp for the price. My only minor complaint is that it could’ve used just a pinch more MSG (the "cocaine of cooking," as Uncle Roger says). Including a canned Coke, the total bill came to $21.97—a great deal in today’s tough economy. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars! I highly recommend Golden City!

Amazing! We came in on the evening of a snow day and there was only one lady working but she was so nice and served us well. The portions are HUGE.

This is absolutely my most favorite orange chicken in town! Good quality chicken and delicious sauce. I've always had excellent service. I've been getting this orange chicken for 17 years and it never disappoints!! It's literally the most freaking delicious!

New Peking is where the old Jerusalem Cafe used to be. We love trying new places especially if they're in our back yard! We were immediately greeted by a young gentleman who set our table up and returned shortly with soup. A great touch and we thought the service meter spiked at that point. We ordered Orange Chicken and Four Happiness. Food was fresh and flavorful and we stuffed ourselves. The menu is quaint and not loaded up with 100's of dishes, which we like. Dining in was great and recommend that over takeout any day. Really had a great experience and will be a frequent flyer here.

Loved it!! Probably some of the best potstickers and crab puffs I've ever had. I really liked the House Special Lo Mein, it was very well made! My brother's Orange Chicken was not very good, however. It really lacked flavor and the coating on the chicken was a little too dense to be enjoyable. Maybe the spicy orange chicken has more flavor? I tried to tell him to order that version. But we both really liked the place! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I fully expect this to become my go-to local Chinese restaurant!!

I love their pineapple chickn. The sauce is great, the veggies are delicious, and the chicken is perfect. The tofu has a nice snap to it which I've never gotten anywhere else, the sauce is so good, and the veggies are nice and fresh

Had lunch there January 2, 2025. It was absolutely delicious. Not shown was the hot and sour soup, which is the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced. I have eaten there for dinner too. I don’t know the name of the man who greets you when you come in the restaurant, but I am going to find out. He is so welcoming.

Pretty decent food, nothing too special but good. Service was awesome and my daughter and I were the only ones in there so the ambience was nice. We ordered sweet and sour soup, shrimp fried rice, bbq pork, spring rolls and salt and pepper shrimp. There were huge pieces of shrimp in the rice, sweet and sour soup was good and the salt and pepper shrimp had lots of good veggies. The spring rolls were a little too mushy and pork dry. I can see myself revisiting and trying something new.

Very unique setup. One half is a traditional Chinese Restaurant and the other half in another room is a Sports Bar with pool tables and pinball. I went to the Restaurant and you couldn’t really hear the bar side which is nice. The food was good and the service was very friendly. Sports Bar was busy and seems like a solid place to hang out, not often you get to have fresh cooked Chinese food and then go play pool.
