Chubby Boy BBQ
In order of what I loved the most, my top 3 dishes are: 75 eggplant, 33 boiled fish, and 63 praised pork. You’ll never go wrong with braised pork belly, but it’s not a standout dish here. For appetizers, I tried the scallion pancakes and the fortune beef burrito, both delicious. 65 is American Chinese food with sweet and sour sauce. They did a good job but don’t go for this. Same with the chicken wings, a very mild spice breading at least made them distinct from American style. Included a picture of the teapot because I love it and the tea was good. Almost forgot to photograph the eggplant because I was eating too fast.
After having a second meal here. Without a doubt, I endorse Chubby Boy BBQ. There is a feeling of openness. Both the seating and the restrooms are spotless. Each meal was outstanding. The BBQ was unquestionably the standout. The duck had the appropriate amount of crispness and taste. The roast pork was juicy and mouthwatering.
Asian BBQ & Noodle
Cash only establishment. While I was recommended this place with high praise, I found the locations underwhelming and food was okay. I wouldn’t give any criticism or praise. There is a number of dishes to choose from, ranging from noodle bowls with the meats of your choice. I wouldn’t rave or rant much more
Old school Chinese BBQ and create your own noodles. If you're from Chicago you have to come here. Brings back fond memories of old noodle shop. The roasted duck is a must have.
Yunnan Tasty Garden
Tasty authentic Chinese food. Rice noodles are a little plain to us. But the other dishes we ordered were pretty good. Very fast service too!
We had the spicy shrimp, squid skewers, salt and pepper peanuts, and the stir fried cabbage. Everything was perfectly spicy and flavorful. The food came out really quickly and service was friendly.
Ohana Hawaiian BBQ
Terrible service, I placed an order over the phone. The guy I spoke to was unprofessional. He didn’t even ask me for a name or number so I didn’t give it to him. He said it would take 20-25 minutes so I said ok. When my partner went to pick it up about 15-20 minutes later, he told him he was there to pick up my order. But when he went to pay, that’s when the cashier handed the ticket to the back. So that means he didn’t even place the order until my partner paid for it? So he had to wait another 20-25 minutes. So it took about 40 minutes total for 1 item. I don’t understand the difficulty it is to place a simple order over the phone.
I don’t know why Hawaiians and even non Hawaiians for that fact would pay $17 for a little portion of meat two scoops of rice and some macaroni salad. It’s beyond me. $17 can get you a breakfast buffet at Southpoint during Pacific hours $17 can feed you for two meals at chipotle $17 can get you a lot of stuff besides 6 ounces or less of chicken two scoops of rice and macaroni salad can you imagine the margins on these plates again? I feel sorry for Hawaiians and I don’t know why they do it.
Pho Viet Café Vegas
Nice pleasant place to stop by but wouldn’t go back again. Food 3/5 Pho is VERY generous especially w/meat and add-on portions Honey lemongrass sauce chicken was dry and definitely premade then reheated (hence the dryness) Bonus: they gave a good amount of veggies to make up for the protein portion Customer Service 4/5 Friendly service from all staff members Ambience 4/5 Clean spot, no issues throughout the entire experience Parking 5/5 Easy parking within shopping plaza
Glad we decided to try this place for dinner, a hidden gem if you’re gluten free!!! All the pho broth is gluten free and served with rice noodles. We ordered the bbq pork fried rice to share, it’s perfection on a plate!!! Even ordered some to take home with double the meat. Also took the sweet rice & corn with coconut cream, gluten & dairy free!! It was a sweet treat to a great meal. My husband couldn’t get enough of the house-made chili oil. The owner came by our table & explained all my options. Our server took great care of us and boxed up our pho!!
Xiao Long Dumplings
The food is delicious here! We tried many different things and everything was so good! The house soup dumplings and the fried pot stickers were the best I've ever had, anywhere! Our server was Fairy B and she took very good care of us. Checking on us but not overshadowing us. We were not rushed at all. I highly recommend this place!
After my first visit to this establishment, I found myself returning within the same week. I appreciated the Asian decor and the ample natural light that fills the restaurant. Be aware that this place gets quite busy, and patrons are willing to wait for the delicious food! The staff work diligently to meet the high demand and ensure orders are served promptly. The soup dumplings are exceptional! All dishes were served quickly after ordering. We began with appetizers: Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Salad, both of which were refreshing and prepared our palates. We enjoyed the Beef Stir-Fried Noodles, a childhood favorite, along with the House Special Soup Dumplings, Shrimp & Pork Soup Dumplings, Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings, and the standout, Foie Gras Pork Dumplings. The dumplings feature thin wrappers, plump meat fillings, and a burst of rich, fatty, savory soup. This spot is truly a gem for its quality!
Panda Express
I came here with my friends at 7:05pm on a Sunday evening to grab food really quick as we had something else planned to do. I got the 2 entree plate and medium drink combo. I got fried rice with honey sesame chicken and orange chicken. The cashier was Oscar and he was friendly. All The staff say “Hi, Welcome” when guest enter, which is pretty cool. We ate inside. It did start to get a little busy. The orange chicken was good, with no complaints. The honey sesame chicken was not as good. I had gotten it from a different location the day prior and it was delicious. The rice by itself was a bit flavorless, to me. It tasted fine when I paired it with the chicken. Beverage wise, the sweet black tea wasn’t good but the Fuze raspberry tea was perfect.
Decent spot. Same as other Panda Express so you know what to expect. Seems little more overpriced than other locations though
Express Hibachi
I love this little place because it's close to home. However while the lady was making my food I noticed how many times she touched the money , touched her clothes and face and also typing on her cell phone all while cooking my food. Not once did she wash her hands. I'm sorry that is not acceptable when making my food. I did ask for my money back, because we already have to deal with the messed up things that are happening to our food and how things are genetically made these days, I'm sorry I could not watch this happen and go home and eat with family and get sick because of this. When I told the lady about my issue she got mad right away, instead of fixing the problem. So if you go here , please take care and be mindful of people that are in control over your food.
The food here was very good and big portions without it being crazy expensive!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food came was very fresh and again it was very good!! This is some of the best fast Japanese/Chinese food I have had! It was also nice to get out of Vegas and away from all the same types of foods/people. This was still close to Vegas as we are on vacation! Again I would definitely recommend this place and the food is a 9.2/10!!! 😁 What we ordered: I got the combination dinner w/ steak and shrimp hibachi. My sister got the kids orange chicken meal. My Mom got the Singapore curry noddle. and my Dad got the General Tso chicken!
Chengdu Taste
Must-Try Sichuan Cuisine in Las Vegas: Taste Chengdu If you love spicy food, this is a must-visit spot! The dishes are solid overall—nothing disappointing. The ginger frog is tender and flavorful, and the dry-fried green beans are perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended!
I never had Chinese food that is as authentic on this. I'm glad I was able to eat with my Chinese colleague. She was on it!!!!! She ordered two food and it was really delicious. Worth your money. If you don't like spicy you can tell the server. This is big servings by the way. We enjoyed it so much!
Lucky House Seafood Restaurant
I came across LuckyHouse Seafood Restaurant and noticed it seemed to be a grand opening. Curious, I decided to give it a try. When I arrived at 4pm, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only two other people dining. It made me wonder where are the customers? The menu looked interesting, but the prices seemed high for the overall ambiance of the place. Still, I decided to try it out. I ordered the House Fried Rice and the Lucky Roasted Pork. The food wasn’t bad at all; in fact, it was okay. However, I did find it a bit pricey for what it offered. One downside was the service. The server had difficulty understanding my questions, which made communication challenging. In the end, I just ordered something simple that I was craving at the moment. Overall, the food was decent, but the pricing and service could use some improvement. I hope they work on these aspects as they establish themselves.
I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail in the decor. The dishes are not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience from ordering to dining. Whether for a gathering with friends or a family meal, this place is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning! Feel free to adjust this review to better reflect the restaurant’s unique features or your personal experience.
Noodle Exchange
Amazing experience! Located inside Gold Coast. This is the beef and lamb with Thai soup base.
I actually came to the Gold Coast to gamble and I must say this casino is on my top 5 casinos in Vegas. I ended up gambling for quite a while and I requested comps for the Noodle Exchange and they gave me $50. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and I was so full afterwards. They do have the Hot Pot and I plan on taking my daughters next time because they have been asking to get a hot pot.
Grinds 2 Da Max
First time here and wanted to try something different. Asked what the most popular plate was and told the Dynamite katsu chicken. I ordered with the spicy sauce on the side and felt the chicken itself was pretty decent. Rice is rice. The sauce was ok. Nothing really stood out or made me want to come back again. I can say this is the last time I’ll ever order Katsu chicken as every place I’ve order this item, it’s just average or below average tasting. In my opinion. Just nothing really stands out. Just breaded chicken is all it is. Paid 16+ dollars for this meal and would say not quite worth it but wasn’t bad tasting service was OK.
I saw Grinds 2 Da Max on Instagram and while I was in Las Vegas, I just happen to have a friend come here a couple days before I did. The picture of the food looked great, so we decided to check it out as I love good Hawaiian food. Well, Grinds 2 Da Max did not disappoint! The food is Da Bomb! They are located in the Wantai Plaza, unfortunately in a tiny space so there was not much tables to sit at if you wanted to eat in. Most people were doing take out. We were fortunate to get a table, so we did dine in. The whole time we were here, all the table were full and plenty of people waiting for their order or in line waiting to order. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed full of flavor! The only thing that could have had a little more flavor was the Hawaiian style Poke, but it could have been because everything else was packed full of flavor. When you are in Las Vegas, You need to come to Grinds 2 Da Max for some awesome Hawaiian food!
