Straight Up Cafe
Best Hawaiian food in Vegas. All the classic and genuine Hawaiian poké. I've yet to find an item I liked and the specials are always fun. On top of that the family vibe is over the top and they make the food fresh to order like family would. I'm glad a regular here
Their meat is amazing! One of the best, and I've been to a lot of Hawaiian food places. They also give you your food in microwave safe containers that you get to take home! The staff is so kind and they make sure that you are served well and have everything you need. Overall great place. The kimchi is a bit lighter than Korean kimchi but still really great, especially with the kalua pork. Also this will feed me for like 3 days haha. The picture with the closed lid is after I ate Hhaha
Sundance Grill
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a delightful pit stop at Sundance Grill in the Silver Oaks Casino today. Sometimes you just need a sweet treat to brighten your day, and this place delivered perfectly! We ordered the cheesecake and brownie sundae - both were absolutely delicious and hit the spot for a mid-day indulgence. What really made our visit special was the exceptional service. Our server, Lonnie, was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome even though we were just stopping in for a quick snack. The casual atmosphere was perfect for a brief respite from the casino action. If you're looking for a nice place to take a break and satisfy your sweet tooth while at Silver Oaks, I highly recommend Sundance Grill. The desserts are worth every calorie, and the service makes you want to return. Perfect for a quick treat between games!
I love eating here since my mom introduced this place to me. On my last visit I ordered their Loco Moco and I was very satisfied with my order. They didn't disappoint me. Our server was quick and she visited us often to see if we need anything. We didn't have to raise our hands as if she knew we'd be asking for refills. 😆 We also got our food in no time. I wished I remembered her name to compliment her for her great service. The entire restaurant is very clean and always ready for the next customer.
HONG LOU
Huge portions and very delicious! 2 people barely finished one 짬뽕. Definitely visiting again the next time I'm in Las Vegas.
The jajangmyeon tasted sour like vinegar. It didn't taste sour because the food was spoiled, but it tasted like vinegar was added. After I finished eating, I told that lady that Please check the soy sauce. But what she said is interesting. She said, "Did you put vinegar on the pickled radish? That can make it sour." You kidding me?? What's the matter between vinegar and jajang sauce on pickled radish? I just told her that just check. If I am not asking for your money back, it's right to say she's sorry and thank you to the guest for letting her know so. The food was tasteless and the service was poor. Wasted money.
Island Style 2
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now and I'll say that this place doesn't get old. I haven't had the opportunity to try everything on their menu because they have a significant amount of items listed. Not to mention, every time I have the intention of trying something new, it never happens - I seem to revert to the same item (Combo Plate). Since we've started coming here, we've tried the Hot Pot (Stone) Bibimbap, Combo Plate, Fried Saimin (Noodles), and Bulgogi. Basically, every entrée we've ever ordered thus far have been magnificent and I definitely wouldn't change a thing. The banchan that comes with the food is always fresh and the restaurant provides an adequate amount too. Unfortunately, I won't boast too much about their mac salad - for some reason, it doesn't do it for me. I've had so many variations of mac salad since I was raised in Hawaii and from eating a bunch on the 9th island as well; this one is less than adequate. Furthermore, I wish this restaurant would offer mini plates to choose from. Not all local/Hawaiian restaurants practice this, but I have seen and experienced my fair share of mini plate offerings in the past. Definitely not a show stopper, but I would appreciate it more so I could try many things at once without always having to order multiple full entrées, which ends up being way too much food. The employees that have and are currently working here are always friendly and quick. If you're planning on visiting Korea Town, you definitely need to make it a point to stop here and grab some good food. The prices are reasonable and there are so many items to choose from - I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
This Korean food stall is located inside the Korean Town shopping plaza. You can order some wonderful home-cooked Korean entrees, pick up groceries, and shop at the bakery all in one area. The portions are great and the service is very friendly. If I lived here, I would be two to three times a week, lol. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures because I was too focused on getting my food. We ordered spicy pork, bulgogi, spam fried rice, and omelet fried rice. Everything was so good.
Mala Town 自选麻辣烫
I tried this hotpot style in Seattle, and this place provided the same excellent experience. I love the ability to customize my bowl, and the pay-by-weight system is a nice touch. The service is great—they bring your bowl to your table after you’ve paid. The sauce bar is tidy, and they offer free tea. I had the tomato sweet and sour soup, while my husband went with the dry mix. The soup base had a consistent taste compared to other places. However, I did experience an upset stomach afterward. The dry mix bowl took a little longer to prepare than the soup and came with peanut sauce. The restaurant is clean, with cute decor, and there’s easy parking right in front.
Great place for picky eaters! They can choose what they want!! Walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if we needed help. 1. Grab a bowl and a pair of thongs and then choose what you want. So many things to choose from veggies, noodles, tofu, seafood, meats. Something for everyone. 2. Choose your soup, the weigh it, then pay. 3. They let you know what table and you go create your own sauce at their sauce bar and self serve water or sweet tea. We really enjoyed our meal here and will come back.
China Gourmet
Seaseme chicken- you can taste the garlic, sweet and sour pork- sweet and tasty with the bell peppers, onions and pineapple. cashew chicken- the zucchini, celery everything was so savory and chopped so you can have a piece of everything in every bite. And all those cashews 🤤 All flavors were so amazing. Comes with steamed rice. So much food we were able to save some for later. The service was amazing. Our waitress was nice and didn't even write down our oder and got everything we ordered. I want to try everything on the menu. This is definitely a family favorite. We got to share everything.
Great great service. Many selections to pick from the menu. All good cooked to order and fresh! Smells so good when you walk in. They having dining tables so you can enjoy your meal. The orange chicken and rice is FIRE! So delicious and the noddles excellent. Great stop for some China Gourmet.
Dragon Gate
Found this place by accident and was impressed by the interior retro style decor. The hostess was friendly and food was delicious. We were very happy with the food, that we even got some to go. Will definitely return again to try more menu option.
Authentic Taiwanese food in Vegas area. Highly recommend their stinky tofu! It’s crispy and stinky just how I like it. They have a very extensive menu and a lot of Taiwanese night market snacks. Service is friendly and great.
Hunan Rice Noodle
The entrance was pungent with the strong smell of chili peppers, and the place had minimal decor. The portions were generous, and overall, it didn’t disappoint—the flavors were decent, though nothing extraordinary
this family owned Hunan restaurant is wonderfully kind, and serves up incredibly delicious flavors in dishes ! all their rice noodles are made in house, and are so delicate. we had a great variety of dishes for 4 people, including: Spicy Beef Brisket w. Rice Noodles Mushroom and Shredded Pork w. Rice Noodle Soup Sauteed Spicy Boneless Chicken Water Spinach couple orders of rice everything we had was so tasty, so much so that we ordered one more of the chicken and spinach dishes to take home !
China A GO GO( Flamingo)
Food was great, had the orange chicken, BBQ sliced pork, black pepper chicken and 2 free egg rolls ( ordered online through their site and had to be over $25). Everything was made to order and was ready when I arrived at 8PM. Would recommend this location over any others in the area by far! The only complaint as of now is rice was on the colder side and was starting to harden.
I ordered the take out lunch special. They were running a buy one, get the second 50% off promotion. I ordered the walnut shrimp and the shrimp and snow peas. Both came with fried rice and noodles. They were fresh and delicious. There aren't many Chinese restaurants around here, so I'm so happy to see this restaurant open! We’ll be back soon (^^)
Asian BBQ & Noodle
Cash only establishment. While I was recommended this place with high praise, I found the locations underwhelming and food was okay. I wouldn’t give any criticism or praise. There is a number of dishes to choose from, ranging from noodle bowls with the meats of your choice. I wouldn’t rave or rant much more
Old school Chinese BBQ and create your own noodles. If you're from Chicago you have to come here. Brings back fond memories of old noodle shop. The roasted duck is a must have.
Chubby Boy BBQ
In order of what I loved the most, my top 3 dishes are: 75 eggplant, 33 boiled fish, and 63 praised pork. You’ll never go wrong with braised pork belly, but it’s not a standout dish here. For appetizers, I tried the scallion pancakes and the fortune beef burrito, both delicious. 65 is American Chinese food with sweet and sour sauce. They did a good job but don’t go for this. Same with the chicken wings, a very mild spice breading at least made them distinct from American style. Included a picture of the teapot because I love it and the tea was good. Almost forgot to photograph the eggplant because I was eating too fast.
After having a second meal here. Without a doubt, I endorse Chubby Boy BBQ. There is a feeling of openness. Both the seating and the restrooms are spotless. Each meal was outstanding. The BBQ was unquestionably the standout. The duck had the appropriate amount of crispness and taste. The roast pork was juicy and mouthwatering.
SK Seafood Restaurant
Wait was horrible but worth it. The food was outstanding. Great hot & sour soup, the string beans had the right amount of "wokhey" to have nice flavor, the steam chicken was flavorful and tender, the deep fried flounder was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, and the last fish was the walnut shrimp which were sweet and savory. All in all, it was a great meal. The place is not much to look at but you are there for the scrumptious food.
definitely an authentic place, no american chinese fare here. :-). There were so much choices and it was hard to settle for what i wanted for lunch. but i decided on the squab and fried flounder. the squab was really tasty and surprisingly meaty. The flounder came with a dipping sauce and that helped since the flounder was very lightly seasoned and it was not fishy at all
