Crazy Crab
I would give no stars if possible! I ordered 100 dollars of food and to have it delivered! Ordered steak and onion and got a plate full of green peppers and onions and in order to get a new plate or refund I have to drive it to them. Lady was absolutely rude to deal with!
Always great food, fast delivery. Never a bad meal. Got orange chicken, sweet and sour pork. Crab ragoons. I'd highly recommend it!
Panda Express
I did an online order, there wasn’t a line in the drive through… one person. So when I got up to the speaker… I was told it wasn’t ready. Okay, I’ll just wait in the line. They said I could drive around or come in? I usually just wait my turn in line….so I went inside… waited in the walk in line… explained the situation and they were rude? Said that’s how it works… that they were busy. I totally understand, I waited in both lines to be serviced… they acted like I asked the whole world just to act like I was a walk in? It was just an odd and weird experience? Just put me in the line when you’re servicing WALK INS? Left the same time as someone who was a walk-in? When the manager asked if I was taken care of, employees spoke over me to respond. I totally understand the service industry, and normally I’m not one to complain when it’s fast food. So heads up, just walk in and never mention using their handy app. Also got home and I have 1.5 pieces of meat. Honestly. Changing this review to one star.
🐲Panda Express, with its signature orange chicken and wok-fresh dishes, has become a staple in the fast-food scene. As you step up to the counter, the tantalizing aroma of sizzling sauces and spices fills the air. But how does this beloved chain fare when it comes to taste and quality? Let’s dive into the menu and explore the highs and lows. 🥡🥢 Panda Express nails it with their iconic Orange Chicken. The crispy, tangy bites of battered chicken coated in a sweet and savory orange glaze are addictive. Pair it with steamed white rice for a classic combo that never disappoints. 🍜🍚 In summary, Panda Express delivers consistent flavors, especially with their Orange Chicken and Chow Mein. So next time you’re craving a quick Chinese fix, swing by Panda Express. 🐼
China Palace Restaurant
I’ve not been very satisfied with the Chinese takeout scene in Lansing but China Palace absolutely redeemed that. This place will be my family’s go to takeout place from now on. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the food was hot. They also have great vegetarian options. We got the Buddha delight with vegetarian fried rice, lo mien, and spring rolls— delicious! The price is fair given the state of the economy. For the two of us we spent about $30-35 dollars. I ain’t mad about it. The location is less than preferable both inside and outside but frankly I don’t care too much given I was in and out very quickly to get my food and go home. We will definitely be back.
Walked in and ordered, food was ready quickly. Went and ate in the car and my bourbon chicken was amazing and the fried rice went perfectly with it.Egg roll was extra crunchy and the filling was great.
Panda Express
I am usually the first person to not complain and just take what I get but I’m sorry this is inexcusable. I paid $9 today for a bowl full of rice and literally four pieces of beef (yes I counted lol). My wife’s bowl had 5 pieces of small chicken (she got the chicken breast and green beans). What a joke. Let me be clear I despise being THAT customer but this is just NOT okay. You can’t expect people to pay $9 for rice. You’re shorting people to cut cost. I’ve worked in fast food and I’ve seen managers tell employees to do shit like this to cut costs. Do better. Definitely won’t be back.
First of all, I posted a review when they first opened and it got deleted. Second, when they first opened, the food was good. ( I order from here often ) now it isn’t the same. They always gave me sweet & sour sauce when it states clearly on my order that I want soy sauce. But today, I ordered 2 orders of spring rolls. When I picked it up and got to my destination to eat there was only 1 order. Went back and the guy at the register tried to tell me there was only 1 order until he looked closer at the receipt, then said sorry and gave me my second order. They didn’t taste very good. It’s not as good as it was and my order is hardly ever right. I’m not sure I’ll ever order from here again.
U Like Chinese Restaurant
$13.40 was my total Bourbon chicken lunch special + 2 egg rolls (no drink) Some of the chicken was over cooked and dry. The entire dish was covered in a sweet syrup flavored sauce that was low quality. Reminded me of store brand pancake syrup. Rice is a basic yellow (fried) rice. Pretty bland with what appears to be small pieces of onion and cabbage. I was unable to pickup any flavor other than the syrupy sauce which was off-putting. Egg rolls are a very low grade, even for a hole in the wall Chinese place like this. Chewy, grainy and with an almost synthetic ginger flavor. Dining area was cluttered with boxes and what appeared to be the staff's personal items. The first table was wobbly and all the tops appeared dirty. When my order was ready the staff called me to pick it up instead of serving me. Not a big deal, just not what you'd expect. The tray my food was served on was also dirty with dried bits of food. Staff argued. Bathroom out of order. --- I won't recommend it and I won't return.
The health department need to investigate this place! I bought beef fried rice and BBQ boneless spare ribs and it was terrible! They charged a lot for small and the food ( meat ) was old and spoiled and BBQ source was watered down with barely no taste! The rice and beef smelled spoiled! I will never go there again! I’ve thrown everything in the trash
China Palace 2
Food is good, when you can get it. This place is randomly closed and the last time I placed an order, it was taken, given a time and total. Got to the location for pickup and they once again were closed. Not sure how or why my order was even placed. Done with this place and it’s a shame because the food is good and fair priced.
Ate there once, hated it, but thought maybe it was just what I ordered.....so I gave it a 2nd chance. NOPE it's straight trash, disgusting honestly! NEVER AGAIN!! And it's gross inside too BTW
Colala Express
Really affordable and decent portions. My wife wasn't a fan of the orange chicken. It had plenty of sauce which is good but that's where the good stopped on that dish. The combo came with dumplings, which was her favorite part of the meal. The egg rolls had a lot of seasoning maybe a little too much cardamom. The crab rangoon were mild in flavor which is how I personally prefer them. The shrimp fried rice was probably the best part of the meal - great flavor and generous portion. Side note: the soup I ordered wasn't in the bag when I picked it up. That's not really a huge deal because it was only like a dollar which goes back to that affordability The whole meal is $20 for me and my wife. I wouldn't mind stopping by again but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Fresh food made to your order. A short wait time in the colorful restaurant, with complimentary iced tea and coffee offered. The food comes out hot. My first dish here was the House Special Chop Suey. Bok Choy and cabbage in a nicely flavored broth, with plenty generous sized pieces of sauteed chicken, pork and shrimp. Nothing was over cooked. The meat was tender and juicy, the vegetables had a fresh snap to them. Served with steamed rice for $6.95. The fried dumplings are delicious, as is the Szechuan Chicken. All portions are generously sized. We will try something else from the menu soon.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Panda Gourmet, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a warm, welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The modern yet cozy decor creates a relaxed environment perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The menu offers a wide variety of options, featuring a perfect balance of traditional flavors and inventive twists. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and attention to detail. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors, leaving a lasting impression. What stood out most was the overall quality of the food. The balance of taste, texture, and presentation was impressive, making the meal truly satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything was prepared with care, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to excellence. The service was equally commendable. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The prices were fair for the quality and portion size, providing excellent value for money. Whether you’re a fan of classic dishes or looking for something a little more adventurous, Panda Gourmet delivers on all fronts. It's a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality cuisine in a warm and inviting setting. I look forward to returning!
my family and i moved from lansing about 4 or 5 years ago now, yet when we come back up we always stop here for delicious food and amazing service. every time we stop in, they remember me from way back when, they remember my father who used to take me there. sadly my father passed away late 2019, but that never stops us from sharing memories of my father and i dinning here and stopping in to say hi. this place will always be a favorite because of the good food and amazing service they offer here. thank you panda gourmet, for keeping the memory of my father alive and offering tasty and nicely priced food!!
Panda Express
I was hoping for so much more….i got the large meal with lo mein, honey shrimp and mushroom chicken. I got the sweet and sour with plain rice for my daughter. I also got crab rangoons and an egg roll. So, my daughter’s rice was not fully cooked and neither were my lo mein noodles. They forgot my sauces. The “fruit salad” in the kids meal was dehydrated prepackaged apple chips. The main entrees weren’t bad, the egg roll was the best part and the crab rangoons were mid. They gave up fortune cookies but to no fault of theirs mine didn’t contain a fortune. I ordered online and picked up and they seemed confused when I arrived as to what I ordered. Overall, not the best experience. Not sure I’ll go back. Maybe if I’m really wanting drive thru Chinese food.
First time here and it definitely won't be the last. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful . I am sure that I will be a repeat customer. Give Panda Express a try, you won't regret it.
New China Flavor
NEW OWNERSHIP at New China Flavor on Michigan Avenue on Lansing's Eastside! When I saw a new dim sum menu up on the window, I was so excited I went in and talked to Annie and soon learned that the owners used to run Golden Wok in East Lansing, the one restaurant I've really missed since I returned to the area three years ago. Annie is so welcoming, and the food is EVERYTHING I'd hoped it would be. Eating here felt like returning to a place I used to love. Great place to eat on Lansing's Eastside! *** UPDATE: My family has now eaten there a few times and I still hold the same opinion as that first night. What's more, if you want something made just a little differently than on the menu, they will accommodate!
Our new favorite for Asian cuisine for sure!!! We have tried MANY Chinese restaurants in the Lansing area and this one by far tops them all! When you first walk in it may not look like anything special, however we were pleasantly welcomed with a warm smile from a very friendly woman. She carefully explained the combos to us and the different options you could get. They had more options for sides than most similar restaurants AND included a beverage in the very reasonable price. We asked if it was possible to get our food extra spicy and they happily honored our request, and wanted to make sure they got it just right. The food arrived very quickly and everything tasted extremely fresh and had a great flavor. They didn't skimp on the veggies in mine like some other restaurants do. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything wanted wanted and make sure we were happy with our food. Even the quality of the take out cup surprised me! We will DEFINITELY be returning and ABSOLUTELY recommend everyone try this restaurant!
China Garden
I'm very picky about my Chinese food to the extreme. The General Tso chicken was not spicy at all but was still very flavorful and delicious. The white rice was sticky, moist and the perfect consistency. The shrimp egg roll was phenomenal. The lunch special I had received was a decent portion and I have leftovers. Price was fair for the 12 oz soda can I purchased. I'll definitely be coming here in the future. So far this is the only gem I have found on my side of Lansing that offers delicious Chinese food at a good proximity from where I live. I would also like to note that the lady working the front desk was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable, vibrant and clean.
First visit. Ordered deep fried tofu with broccoli and wings/fries. Tofu was fried to my liking, sauce was ok, I’ve had better. Not terrible though. Wings were flavorful fries were fries minus the salt. Overall pretty good. Gave a 5 for atmosphere to help the reviews score but there’s not much to it. Go in get your food and head out.no dine in.
Kenny's Ribs & Chicken
Well, let me just start off saying that the food was great. I ended up getting the ribs and the two chicken wings. The young lady asked me if I wanted my barbecue sauce on the side and I told her yes well when I receive my food I came to discover that my barbecue sauce was poured all over my food mind you this meal comes with fries and a side of coleslaw and when they say a side of coleslaw, it’s a sample although it was good. I just don’t think it was worth the money and the fact that they poured barbecue sauce all over my food even my wings that were just fried did not sit well with me other than that the food was good, but I’m gonna need them to do better….. below is what they call a side of coleslaw🤦🏼♀️
I drove all the way from work in Chicago to Kenny's Ribs on Torrence to give this restaurant another chance on the rib tips. I told the young lady I wanted the mini tips with mild sauce and that I wanted the rib tips tender. The first time I bought rib tips they was tough. She relayed the message to the cook. Long story short...the rib tips are tough asl. I couldn't even chew them. I put the rib tips in the oven to see if I can get them tender. I should had went with my first mind "Kirk" in South Holland. I will not be going back to Kenny's for rib tips. My second time around; but their sauce is good though and so is Kirk's. I am soooo disappointed with Kenny's Ribs.
