Delish!!!
P.F. Chang's
Our server Turner was awesome! He was so attentive and kept our drink filled and made sure we had everything we needed. The chocolate cake was a favorite and he even brought it to us in a to go box so we could take a few bites and take it home. Great experience!
Amazing food . The chili beans and chicken lettuce wraps were on point. The bottomless lemonade was super. Special mention for the chili prawns.
Z!Eats (Formerly Zoup!)
Great tasting soup, better than Panera or at minimum an alternative. Prices are expensive for how the tables needed cleaning and service etc though employees were nice. Nice that the bathroom had a changing table for parents. Worth a meal but choose a clean table.
The food in this photo cost a little over EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. Flavor was fine, in line with what you'd expect from canned soup, sandwich tasted fairly good. Nine dollars per item, though, is wild; especially when the sandwich is smaller than my fist, with a combined 2 tablespoons worth of protein and veggies inside. There are not many places in Lansing where you can get less for your money, so I'd recommend avoiding this place.
Eastside Fish Fry & Grill
I’m from Memphis where we know good balanced seasoning, I ordered a blue gill dinner. & it was so bland I had to come and make a review plus it was 20 bucks which made me believe it would be great. It was not! Super regular nothing special what so ever. This is my first and last time. The food I received was NOT hot, it wasn’t even lukewarm. I had to put a fresh 20$ plate in the microwave. Sad
Had the following delivered from Eastside Fish Fry and Grille 12 piece fried chicken—terribly overcooked, dry, skin overcooked to point it had a burnt taste, ordered with house seasoning Fried Scallops—overcooked, dried out and stringy ordered with no seasoning Fried frog leg dinner—overcooked, stringy frog legs, fries were ok just a bit too greasy Fried alligator tail bites—again overcooked making them dried out, stringy, the fry batter was on the bites was very hard from being overcooked Crab cakes—a bit overcooked, had a good taste except for the fry batter on outside of cake ordered with no seasoning Fried Mac n cheese—good taste, still a bit overcooked. I’m think the taste is there, pretty cheesy ordered with no seasoning on outside. Cheese curds—overcooked little cheese left inside of batter casiing All the fried foods had an odd old kind of taste to them, like perhaps the oil needed changing or the fryer needed a thorough steam cleaning I was terribly disappointed. We had been really looking forward to these items. With the service fee, delivery charge, and tip I spent $166.98. We hardly ate any of it. My daughter tried to eat two pieces of alligator bites before she gave up due to how bad it tasted. My son-in-law had half of a frog leg, set it down then tried another and gave up due to the taste, dryness, and stringiness. My scallops were inedible. I tried four different pieces before I gave up The only reason I gave them two stars is because the portion sizes were very nice. I ordered this at 4:30 pm in the afternoon on a Thursday. You wouldn’t think they would lose track of frying times that early in the evening would you???!!!!
King Ocean Crab
My family and I were extremely disappointed. The food quality was very poor. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. You could not even chew them. The fried pickles were good. We ordered the family seafood meal. The crayfish were not cleaned. The corn on the cob was rancid. The sausage was the poorest quality I have ever seen in a restaurant. It reminded us of hot dogs. The shrimp and the few crab legs were good. Potatoes were also tasty. I will not be back. The server was nice and pleasant.
I believe it was the owner or manager? Couldn't tell. But he was very friendly, seems like he loves kids, he gave my son a toy to play with, also at the end of our leaving, he wanted to hold our son and gave our son a stuffed panda. Such a friendly service felt very welcomed, food was fast, hot and delicious, and I will try seafood next time! The environment and everything were different and very clean! Kid friendly!
Capital City BBQ
The food was great. She makes the best egg rolls, coleslaw, and wow, the pork sandwich was amazing. Please, if you're in town looking for some good eats, try this place out. Oh, and the lemon pie is so amazing.
It doesn’t look like much, but this place really packs a punch with flavor. The woman who works there is super nice. This is some really good barbecue. I judged the outside before I even sat down. I have to learn more to not do this. Buddy of mine ended up getting the baked beans. There was tons of meat and richness in them. I got the corn bread and it was some of the softest cornbread I’ve ever eaten in my life. This food is packed with flavor and is priced very well in my opinion. I would absolutely eat here all the time if I was from the area. 9/10 overall experience.
AnQi Sushi Express
Caught a show at grewal and decided to try on a whim with a friend. If you’re looking for amazing sushi at unbeatable prices, this spot is a hidden gem! Fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned rice, and a great variety of rolls—all without breaking the bank. The service is fast and friendly. This place delivers quality that rivals high-end sushi joints. Highly recommend for sushi lovers.
Someone else said it best: for the price and quality you can’t beat it. I just had two veggie rolls this time but I’ve had many of their other items and enjoyed them. You can order on their website ahead of time for specific pickup times or you can order in-shop and wait. They also have a selection of pre-made items prepared to-go. Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed!
World Buffet & Grill
5 ⭐️for under $40 for 2 seniors and 1 adult. Classic Chinese buffet with hibachi grill and sushi. Was in town and stopped by here on my way home with my senior parents and they loved it. It’s all the familiar dishes plus some I’ve never tried like peanut chicken. If you like cooked sushi and endless staples like sesame chicken then this is the place for you. 5 stars because I saw they had sugar free frozen yogurt and I’m not crashing and am full before the long drive home. ✌🏼
The most mediocre buffet food and I wanted nothing more. Mac and cheese had a metallic shine. Pizza reminds me of second grade pizza party portions. Bathrooms are older than my great grandma (rest in peace). Eat the general tso chicken for instant begs of mercy from your stomach. Perfect for the price.
Chen's Restaurant
We ordered delivery and it was fast and well presented. The young chow fried rice is always my favorite. We had the beef with mushrooms, friend shrimp, and young chow fried rice, and the crab Rangoon which was good but didn't taste like crab just cream cheese. Overall, excellent food and speedy service.
Nice Family Run Healthy restaurant. They have a unique 'Diet' Section of menu, where all food is steamed, zero oil nor spice, perhaps a tad of salt. YOu can add your own sauces/spices to it! VERY affordable. Good place to have a quiet conversation too!
Thai Village
Tonight was my first visit and it was incredible. The only thing not pictured here is the hot tea I drank with this meal. It was exquisite! The food and service were superb. Highly recommended.
Came out on this blustery Friday and had the pleasure of having the personable Arina to welcome and serve me. A while since I'd been in but everything is as comfy as always. Food great and relaxing atmosphere. Stop by and see Arina on Fridays. Continue support for this Lansing mainstay.
Applebee's Grill + Bar
The food was great and the restaurant it's self was super clean. The service wasn't the greatest. Our server was friendly enough but it felt like he was forcing himself and didn't seem like he wanted to be there and just blah. Didn't really check on us. I had to ask to get some small plates twice. He blatantly ignored me the first time. Then going to the restroom and having to walk past other workers they didn't smile or come off friendly. They gave dirty looks which I mean look if you're having a bad day I get it but when in the service industry we have to suck it up. Our waiter really didn't engage with our little one either but seemed more annoyed by her. So I honestly probably wouldn't recommend this Applebee's. The food was great though and who knows maybe they were having an off day
Came to Applebee's with a friend, I had the two for. twenty five Dinner , which consisted of fiesta lime chicken, with a salad it was mediocre at Best, the service was slow even though there very few people in the restaurant, I don't think I will be coming back in the future.
