Golden City Restaurant
Just ordered on Uber eats as I’m so sick I can barely walk. I ordered chicken chow mein, a combo plate and an order of fortune cookies. My Uber eats driver was amazing and called to pick up and somehow the restaurant didn’t know what the order was even though it was printed on the bag? The order was reiterated to them and they still sent out the wrong thing and didn’t include my fortune cookies I paid for. Food is okay but they were told twice what the order was and still sent whatever that soupy cabbage entree is that I paid for and won’t be eating.
They just cannot get order correct. Need to pay attention to costumers orders. If I say no mushrooms, don't add to put meal. They also tried charging extra for order they mess up.
Win Wok
I was next door getting my nails done and decided to stop in. It’s not a very nice place but I decided to order and try it out. The woman that took my order was very nice and my order didn’t take any longer than 5 minutes to prepare. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and wonton soup. The chicken was good, but would have been better if the sauce wasn’t dumped inside the bad when I got home. It was in a styrofoam cup with a flimsy lid. The rice was very sticky and flavorless. The wonton soup was ok but this meal was definitely not worth $16.
A lot of food for the price! We only spent 33$ for 3 people. Food was fresh, delicious, and not too oily. Definitely recommend calling to order because it could take a bit of time to wait for the take out in the busy time. I'll definitely come back and try something else too.
Quebec Gardens
Food was great! Huge menu and great prices. Very friendly service. Building looks like it is still a work in progress, I am hoping for the best for this place! The location is a little challenging so I am hoping the word gets out how good the food is.
I got the General Tso Chicken for lunch. It was really high quality. It was a step above traditional Chinese we’re used to around the city, but still a great price. I highly recommend.
Wok Inn Express
I got chicken and shrimp pad thai and General Tso's chicken and felt like the quality to price ratio was outstanding. The service was also warm and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!
Very cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and great service! It's family owned and has all of the American Chinese classics. All of the dishes are delicious! We had the Sichuan Chicken and General Tso's which both had really tender, juicy chicken, crispy veggies, and a yummy sauce!! Will be coming back :)
Blue Gibbon Chinese Restaurant
The food was decent. They lessened the amount of curry in the dish I and my guest purchased. I am also very angry that I had to pay $3.00 for a stupid green tea bag! You shouldn't price gouge customers like that - times are hard for us too!
We really enjoyed our 1st experience here and will definitely be back. We had a group of 6, and we ordered individual dishes but ate them in a family style, which gave the opportunity to sample multiple items. Our server, Jolee, was really nice and very attentive. It's definitely a nice kept secret
Sichuan Palace
The first time we ordered the spicy grilled fish, it was very good, the twice cooked pork was also very good, the second time we were a little disappointed. Maoxuewang should be a dish based on duck blood, but there was no duck blood in it. I think at least we should tell the guests about it before they order. The spicy chicken pieces were very small and dry, and there was no chicken taste when you bite into them. I don't recommend these two dishes, but I think the other dishes are okay!
Definitely a good place for some Chinese food. You can tell from the majority of customers that come to dine in are Asian that the food is authentic (I'm Chinese). The flavor was balanced and not heavy on sauce. I would say there is still an American touch since some of the dishes are sweeter than you would find at a restaurant in China, but still fairly tasty. You do have the option to add more spices or hot peppers as well. Parking was easy to find, but I would expect to be more busy during lunch hours.
Monkey King Asian Express
The woman that served me was very nice, friendly and accommodating. I got the bourbon chicken and it wasn’t on the menu but I showed her the picture from the Google business page and she got me together. Food was good and the portion was good.
ANYONE who writes a negative review about this place is either blind or stupid... You can literally SEE the food before you order it, before you pay, before you leave, before you eat it, before you write a review. I've been here 10+ times and it's always delicious, always a great value. Place is clean, workers are polite, and respectful. Give the place a shot, because it's worth it.
Shanghai on Elm
I went in here one night after work. It was pouring rain. I sat at the bar and had the spicy mango pineapple margarita. I ordered and my food came out quick. It was hot and delicious. It's nice that their kitchen is open late. I'll definitely be back. The bartenders were great they had me cracking up.
A Late-Night Gem in the Heart of Downtown—But a Hit or Miss on Flavor Finding a good meal late at night can be a challenge, but this spot is a true savior for night owls, staying open until 2 AM. My girlfriend and I stopped by around 1:30 AM on a Friday, and the atmosphere was lively, giving off the energy of a bustling street eatery in Hong Kong or Tokyo. Located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, it felt like a hidden gem catering to the late-night crowd. I ordered the Mongolian beef with white rice, and while the portion was satisfying, the dish was drenched in excess oil or sauce. I had to drain a significant amount into my rice bowl, which took away from the overall experience. My girlfriend opted for the chicken pad thai, which she enjoyed, but I found the eggy taste and aroma to be overpowering. I thought the glasses that have a unique tilting style like the tower of pisa were pretty cool! Service was brief yet friendly, fitting for a late-night spot where efficiency is key. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, I’d consider it again if I needed a meal after hours. The menu is almost identical to Wong’s ‘ORIENTAL WOK’ but not with the same quality the ‘wok’ offers. It’s one of those places where your experience could go either way, so it’s worth trying at least once to see if it hits the mark for you.
Johnny Chan
First time here. Popped in for a late lunch. WOW! I’m really impressed. General Tso’s chicken, fried rice and egg roll were perfect! Best Chinese I’ve had in years. Hot, fresh, tasty and generous portions. Affordable price, too. Can’t wait to come back and try other options! Don’t sleep on Johnny Chan this is good stuff.
They have very good Pork Fried Rice . I also enjoy the House Pan Fried Noodles with white sauce this is an excellent dish. Small dining area I always take out.
Johnny Chan 2 - Harper's Point
Everything about this place it fantastic. I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant! We started with the Bo Bo platter for two, I had Mongolian beef with side of pork fried rice, hubby ordered Chicken Szechun style , delightful. Prices are great and large portions. Can't wait to go back . I took a picture but for some reason I can't add it.
Johnny Chan feels like a family-owned business in a fantastic neighborhood. …. Quiet, clean, prompt and inviting. The prices are very reasonable and portions generous. It’s one of the few places where you can actually hear yourself and others talk. Love that! … My only suggestion is giving the decor a makeover. Fresh paint and an inviting Asian theme in the restroom.
Silver Wok
A really nice little place to order take out from or dine in at! Found this place based on reviews in the area, was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly, seating IS limited but it seems most people prefer carry out at this particular location. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Menu was very forward no complaints from me although I think it would be beneficial to show pictures of one dish from each category to help people not familiar with this type of food. Food price and serving portions were worth every penny, food was really good I would have said great but I think they are cooking on the side of caution and not really packing in the optimal amount of flavor they could be and also skimping on the heat. I had the Mein Fun and Orange Chicken both dishes were well presented and again good serving portions, shrimp in my Mein Fun was thoroughly cooked and did not have any odor to it (this is something I personally look out for and just a general note) I also got 1 pork egg roll, it was very crispy on the outside but not overcooked and hot on this inside (great job!! They have their fryer set right and it shows!!!) My only real complaint is if I order the combination bowl I expect beef chicken and shrimp (this was not the case at this location) and not having a fountain machine means I was plagued with $1.25 canned soda. Overall I would recommend this to friends or family in the area and look forward to eating here again and again
I never ordered “beef “here , although I have eaten here several times. The Beef was awful. Pure fat, chewy, fat gristle . (looked like meat )but there was no meat. It was inedible. I ordered the “Beef & broccoli” and it was horribly overly salty. So salty I could not eat it. I would not order beef from there again, as I saw another person who had same complaint with a different Beef dish. It Must be cheaper to order fat than meat. The rest was good but everything was a bit too salty. I threw out the main entree and ate soup eggrolls rice and crab Rangoon . The crab Rangoon only had a tiny bit of the spread inside .
Imperial Wok
we ordered delivery, it arrived sooner than expected and hot! we got the happy family, pu pu platter, egg foo young, and beef w veg. everything was delicious!
Our favorite place for local carry out! 🙂❤️ Reasonable prices and always fast, accurate, and delicious! It's super easy to make an order over the phone and there's a little seating inside too.
