Szechuan House
This is a cute Chinese restaurant, went during dinner so there was no buffet, that's at lunch only for those who don't know that already. The dinner servings were amazing though! Came on Wednesday night with just my husband and loved it so we brought the kids the next night. Not a big fan of the lo mein...the noodles are thicker than I'm used to, but everything else we had was awesome! The sesame chicken is my favorite!
The service was nice. The lady was fast, efficient, and kind. The dishes came out hot and delicious. Thank you
Wok of China
I ordered online. When I went in the staff was very friendly. My food was hot and bagged ready to go. It tastes so good I am writing this while eating. 10/10 recommend
Extremely disappointed in Wok of China. We used to get food here occasionally but have preferred Dragon City on North Bend for years. Dragon City was closed today, so Wok of China it was. We ordered Garlic Broccoli, Vegetable Chow Mein with Tofu, two Egg Rolls, and Subgum Vegetable Soup. According to the menu currently on their website (as of November 2021), the total for this without tax (and adding $1 for the tofu) should have been $18.35. They charged us $27.30, and since they gave my husband no receipt, we have no idea why. Beware credit card users: there is a sign at the cash register saying they charge 4% if you use a credit card. Since we get 5% cash back on food purchases, this fee negates most of the benefits. (I should note that this fee would add 73 cents to our total, so there are still dollars unaccounted for.) Whether or not you use cash back credit cards, this alone is worth going somewhere else. I should also note that this fee was not communicated to us over the phone before we took the time to drive there and pick our food up. It is such a shame that they overcharged us in two different ways, because the garlic broccoli was phenomenal. However, considering the untrustworthy nature of this last transaction, we will never again buy food at Wok of China. If you decide to risk it, please do yourself a favor and triple-check your order and demand a receipt: you might be overcharged. Edit: We have since tried resolving the overcharge with Wok of China. My husband printed out their menu from their current website and took it down there to show them the discrepancies. They refused to give him a receipt (again), and told him that they know the menu on their website is incorrect (they blamed it on a third party). They also refused a refund of the discrepancy. They showed him a menu they claimed was correct, but it did not have most of the things we ordered on it save for the egg rolls, so we're not sure why they took our order from the old menu to begin with. We ended up filing our first-ever dispute with our credit card company over this and our issue was finally resolved. This whole experience was horrific. Please be careful with your money going here.
Fortune Express
Went in to order carry out and ordered pork with mixed vegetables but no mushrooms, I told her twice NO mushrooms. Also ordered chicken with vegetables. Took it home and the first thing we saw on the top of the pork? Mushrooms. My boyfriend can’t eat mushrooms. I would have given him my chicken, but it was loaded with mushrooms too. My boyfriend wouldn’t even touch the fried rice because he was spooked then. I don’t live nearby or I would have made the trip back. I tried to call them but got a busy signal repeatedly. Not a good place to go, dietary restrictions are ignored. I ate my chicken but we wasted our money on a meal and fried rice that couldn’t be eaten.
We have been here twice now. Both times the food has been very good. The only thing that I feel could use a change is the sauce with the wontons, I like a thicker sauce. We did take out, ordered when we got there and the food was cooked fresh and it didn't take a long time. My daughter went in and the first thing she said when she came back to the car was how nice the lady was.
Uncle Yip's 裕华
Uncle Yip’s is an amazing spot for great food and a lively dining experience! It was super crowded and busy when we went, but honestly, that just added to the energy of the place and showed how popular it is. The atmosphere gives off a nice, local, homey vibe that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The food options are endless—they’re constantly coming by the table with a variety of dishes for you to try, which makes the whole experience so fun and unique. My absolute favorites were the chicken lo mein and the pork buns—they were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was also a standout—crispy, tangy, and just the right amount of sweetness. There’s so much more I want to try, so I’ll definitely be back.
The owner is super friendly! The fried flounder (not sure the exact fish type) is sooooo good when just made!! The fin is so crispy! Small bones all become crispy and edible! A must try dish (it’s off the menu you). They have a lot of good specials that’s off the menu, you have to ask the owner if you want to try authentic Chinese dishes. The lamb stir fried is very rich and testy too, and lamb soup is good too! Highly recommend!
Sichuan Chili
A delicious, authentic Sichuan Asian food restaurant. They have a lunch menu and an authentic Chinese food menu. I recommend choosing off of the Chinese menu and trying different dishes. You can't go wrong because everything tastes so good.
I went here 4 times last month and I think I’ll do the same this month. Absolutely hooked. Food is very reasonably priced for the amount and sheer flavor you get. Friendly, fast, no frills service.
Panda Wok
Food came out very fast, was fresh and delicious. Staff was very nice and the prices are good too. I got the general Tso's lunch special.
Whoever is reading this… you MUST come here. Especially if you love Asian cuisine. I flew in from Chicago for a business trip and found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Food is very good, the workers are so sweet especially the lady, great place overall. Sesame chicken was great
Lin's Garden
Some of the best bourbon chicken I've ever had. The food DID NOT make me feel sick like some other local restaurants have & the food was so fresh & hot! Thank you, I actually took a nap after eating this. This really made today perfect, bless y'all. 😊🙏
Definitely the place to get takeout when you don’t feel like cooking. Great food and friendly staff!
Lin Great Wall
I unfortunately got a bourbon chicken combo . The chicken was tasty but had a lot of grizzle and so many large chunks of onion peels. The rice was kinda crunchy. I have had meals here that were good. This one not so much😩
Decided to try this buffet. Nice selection. The food was good, and a good temperature. We enjoyed the crispy shrimp, variety of chicken, green beans, etc. There were donuts and ice cream for sweets. Our server was extremely efficient, keeping the tables cleared and on top of the drink refills. Only booths by the buffet. The additional room has tables. The restroom 🚻 is large and will fit a wheelchair. ♿️
China Chef
We went here, to eat in, last Sunday. The server was friendly and helpful. The crab rangoons and fried pork wontons were fabulous! I loved my pineapple fried rice and the server was kind about allowing me to do some modifications. We loved our Boba! The cups are adorable and the flavors are delicious! They have the small tapioca Boba that I love! They also had popping Boba that my niece loved. Great experience.
Awesome job for a take out Chinese, the pad thai was good. The staff running it seem like family and they care! The bubble teas look great and I will be back. Thank you for providing quality food on Colerain Ave. It is hard to find ;)
Dragon City No 4
I usually have a nice experience here but today was not. My Guy called to ask a question and the lady got an attitude. We came and got our food, was eating as usual when I found an ingredient that didn't even belong in my food with a long strand of hair attached to it. I brought it back to show her and she says "this not my hair", took the food, but gave me my refund for it. Still with an attitude. Won't be back here now. I have a picture, but it doesn't have an option to add pictures.
For the first time ever my food from here was awful. Everything tastes like burnt oil. Dumplings are under cooked. Pad Thai is bland. Usually the food is great but not tonight
Happy Dragon
The food here is NOT good, for your typical Chinese food. My general tso chicken was bland and lacked flavor. My fiancée ordered chicken and snow peas, in which the picture showed a white sauce, and it came in a brown sauce that tasted like pure salt. We wanted to upcharge our white rice to fried rice, and was charged a full meal price for each. For the two of us, it was 42 dollars, and the food was pretty nasty. No pride in their product. I highly suggest driving to carmel and going to China express. Edit: Just wanted to say, there's zero chance I return here. Definitely one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had. And for the people reviewing this saying the food here is delicious, you're trifling and clearly haven't had any halfway decent Chinese food.
We ordered $60 worth of food and it was not good. The chicken was cold, flavorless and so chewy you could barely eat it. I called and they did nothing. I will never eat there again.
Golden Dragon: White Oak Center
If you're looking for the highest quality, authentic, food. Your search has come to an end. Founded on the backs of immigrants (who still work there!) and now operated by the next generation, needless to say they have become a foundational location in the area. Staff provide next level service, while not skimping on quality of the food. Don't hesitate to chat up the founder, or her family! They love to talk and they truly find ways to relate. I wish a 6 star option was available. Words along are not kind enough to do this restaurant justice. Just visit. Try the food. Trust me, it's worth a 30min drive and then some.
This seriously has been my favorite restaurant but honestly I can say the past three experiences I have had within the past three months had been absolutely TERRIBLE. The first time the food was cold and tasted as if it had been reheated, second I went in with my kids to dine in and was told by the gentleman to take a seat in a very rudely manner btw to only be told 5 mins later by the older woman no dine in only take out. Third I called today and simply because I have an 859 number calling at 7:06pm with a drive time of 18mins the woman so rudely said oh you in Kentucky you 30 mins away as if that mattered to her then proceeded to tell me to hold to sooo RUDELY took another call where I can hear taking someone else’s order… These people clearly DO NOT CARE about their CUSTOMERS ANYMORE and the food quality has definitely gone down it’s not made with love anymore just angry birds trying make a quick buck.
