MOđCHI Sushi & Rteaamen & Bob tea
Fabulous place!!!! Itâs the absolute most perfect place for a date, and itâs just simply so cute inside. Their drink mixer is ALSO super creative and cute, it looks like a duck is mixing it and thatâs so cute. I love the floral designs and the plant like atmosphere, itâs very comfortable and vibrant. Their food is delicious and served nice and warm. Their chicken is so good! Their boba teas are very yummy and I LOVE how they each come in a cute trinket cup to re use!!! Their mochi donuts are also very fresh tasting and very delicious. 10/10 experience there with my boyfriend.
I love this type of food and have tried many places before, and let me tell you this restaurant sets the standard that I will now measure everywhere else by. Everything was perfect! The sushi rolls were beautiful and tasty, spicy steak ramen was amazing, awesome chicken fried rice with lots of good chicken pieces in it. Their take on Yum Yum sauce is my favorite I've had. Best crab rangoons too, they were so fresh and crisp. The staff was polite, helpful and service was quick. The inside of the restaurant was decorated very nice. Overall a great experience, I will be back!
China Wok
The bourbon chicken I ordered last night for dinner about 6:30pm. The main dish looked as if it was left over from lunch and rewarmed for my purchase, even though it looked as if it was prepared as I waited. It was like tough pellets. The egg roll was full of shredded cabbage with no other recognizable veggies, and bits that looked like FAKE BACON BITS, not real meat of any kind, and maybe red pepper flakes. The Crab Rangoon order was also simply sweetened cream cheese-like filling, with no crab noted. The steamed rice, was not white, nor fresh. There were few carrot pieces, or there noted veggies, and not much of a sauce on the bourbon chicken to give moisture to the meal. Since the rice was more brown, it stands to support the length of time the dish had been prepared and served. I will not return to this resturant at any time in the near future. I want a refund of my $16 meal, plus my $3 tip. I was being generous, will they be concerned about customer opinons?
Weâve been calling in orders for years. For a bit of time the quality was not good. We gave them some time to hear feedback and work out any issues. Very happy with the food tonight. Meat was cooked perfectly, soup was hot and rice was not undercooked. Be patient with local businesses.
Commander Restaurant
Returned a breakfast item as it was not prepared correctly and they did not use ingredients as advertised on menu. We politely pointed that out immediately when served (didnt eat or touch) "Owners wife" refused to remove charge from guest check and said; "take it home then". We didn't want it as it was pretty badly prepared and not appetizing at all. Still they charged full price even though we left it untouched. Never ever will we be going back.
We were meeting family coming from Michigan and a half-way point was Munster, Indiana. If you are looking for great food & service with a diner-type atmosphere this is it! From the time we walked in the restaurant, we felt at home. The hostess was very friendly and was an expert in hospitality. The waitress was very knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and efficient! The food was amazing and the portions very generous. The meal was timed perfectly. The large menu has a variety of choices and everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great experience!
Five Star Thai Cuisine and Grocery
Nice and warm restaurant; they are so friendly. The food is fresh, made to order, and delicious. It has a cozy atmosphere, nice for spending time with friends and family enjoying delicious meals. The food is also healthy.
Sad to say, but this is by far the worst Thai food Iâve had in my 50+ years, and Iâm not saying this to be mean. Today, my wife and I decided to try a new Thai restaurant for noodles. We love places like Wuâs House, Asparagus, and Spice Thai, so we found this spot on Google and ordered Drunken Noodles with chicken, Pad See Ew with beef, and egg rolls. Let me get straight to the point. As soon as she got home, my wife tasted the food and immediately said it wasnât goodâbut she let me be the judge. I took a bite of each dish, followed by the egg roll (which I had to spit out). The Pad See Ew was completely offâmissing all the usual flavors and elements, with a rubbery texture to the meat. The Drunken Noodles were, well, sober. They looked pale and, while not outright disgusting, had almost no flavor. It was like eating plain ramen noodles without the seasoning packet. The egg roll was soggy, flavorless, and tasted freezer-burnedâI couldnât even swallow it. I was extremely disappointed. Before writing this review, I called the restaurant to speak with a manager. Instead, the chef answered. After I explained my concerns, he refused to let me speak to a manager and insisted his food was good. I tried to explain that, as the chef, heâs naturally biased, but he just wanted to argue rather than offer a solution. I remained as polite as possible, telling him the food was simply bad. He apologized, which is a start, but at the end of the day, I spent my hard-earned money on food that went straight to the trash. Times are tough, and when you pay for something, you should get quality. Iâll be calling again until I speak with someone other than the cookâwho, frankly, canât cook. Oh. When I asked him if he knew 'B', the owner of Spice, he said yeah. I asked if he ever tried his food? He paused then said he had. His slight to Spice was "I don't use msg". Spice is 100 times better than his stuff with or without msg.
Tyler's Tender Railroad Restaurant
Diner feel to it. Kids 12 , 4, 2 liked the train delivering food. Itâs a kids place. The chicken tenders were good. My mushroom burger was subpar. Has a chuckee cheese feel to it with the games and you donât have to deal with ghetto people. The staff was friendly. The only thing I didnât like was paying for the train ride. I think it should be included with the meal but it was only a dollar.
Our kids love it here. Food is excellent. The staff is kind and accommodating. Always look forward to our experience here. The train table is interactive so you can make the lights come on in buildings, make trains move, etc. sitting at the bar is fun because the train brings you your food. The kids love ending the visit riding on the train ($1 each).
Uncle Chen's Hot Wok
Ate here once and the food was fair at best. The rice was yellow??? Served in plastic disposable containers. This establishment has been here for many years so there must be some tasty items on the menu, unfortunately my friend and I didnât find them. I will try again
Love this place. Clean environment. Amazing and Fresh food. Employee and management are top notch. Price is reasonable too! I can eat here everyday day!!!
House of Kobe - Schererville
Food was great, service was great, the experience was great, the price was high, we would go again but at the price point we would only be for special occasions. This visit was our kids first experience at a hibachi grill. We were all much entertained by the chefâs show while cooking the food. The food quality was high and portions were very generous. We all brought home a pretty full leftover box. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the cost. For our family of 4, we all ordered a standard meal, and the only extras were 2 soft drinks and an order of fried rice. (We were surprised that fried rice was not included given the meals are over $30). Our total with the included 18% tip was $199.76. I think this is the most we ever spent on a family dinner.
Loved it had a great time and would highly recommend the experience if have not been here .
Panda
Been here a couple times meow. Both times I had a good experience. Food was ready in ten minutes and hit the spot. Today the egg roll was perfect. Light and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Same with the crab sticks. For 13 bucks this place wangs. I ate like a king
Went for my first time to this restaurant because we were craving some Chinese food and usually hot and sour soup is more runny but this hot and sour soup was thick. It wasnât runny our crab Rangoon was burnt it could have been well presented. But our noodles was on point. Our food was fresh but it just looked like it wasnât cooked properly. No flavor for the hot and sour soup. It has the hot and sour smell but not the taste to it just bland. 2 out of 5 for this place. Could have been better.
Wu's House
This is our first time visiting celebrating our sonâs birthday. The complementary edamame was wonderful. The atmosphere of this restaurant is just breathtaking. There is an area for hibachi. There is an area for sushi and then an area for casual dining. There were seats available when we enteredour waitress was very friendly and accommodating kept our water refilled the whole time we were there. All of our food was cooked fresh and hot and served quickly.
Very nicely decorated space, excellent customer service and the food was delicious and they give you a lot of it. We had two Orange chicken lunches, a General Tso chicken lunch, chicken fried rice, spring rolls and egg rolls. Definitely visiting again. 10/10 highly recommend.
No.1 Restaurant
Best Chinese and only Here in Danville! Ha Their crab ragoons are delicious! Small dining room and no hot tea!I like to sip on Chinese tea before my meal! Service is good! These folks have been around here for years and are well loved! Their food is some of the best! They put some of the red sweet sauce in with my egg roll and that was best I've ever tasted! Right on 36 tucked in the middle of tiny strip mall
With all the traditional Chinese carryout joints closing around me in nearby Pittsboro, I was desperate to find the closest place to me for carryout. And to be clear, I want a place that has lunch specials, and combos where you get fried rice and an egg roll, potstickers, and good portions. This is the place. A couple tables inside, boxes of soy sauce, hot mustard, and sweet & sour in the lobby, super friendly and present owners - that's EXACTLY what I want to see when I grab Chinese carryout.
Rice Garden
Stopped in on a whim and found a hidden gem. Food was hot and fresh with a very good taste. The umami of the egg drop soup (my wife's favorite) đ was awesome. We will definitely make this a go to spot in Hobart. Thanks guys!!!
One of the few places in this area with coconut shrimp! Parking is limited and it's best to call ahead. I had great service and food from this place!
Saigon Noodle House
Everything was ok. We order the number 4 egg noodles. They said its a beef broth and we dont eat pork. But we saw like a tiny crispy meat, and when we asked he said pork but when we surprised he said its beef. So i dont know :)
Their Pho was delicious, wasnât initially expecting all that flavor but it was packed with it! Iâm giving 4âstars, because they were out of a lot of foods- including rice and the crab rangoons didnât have much crab in them. But overall- great food that could be easily overlooked!
