Great China Buffet
We moved from Mississippi to Indiana almost five years ago and had a hard time finding Chinese food that matched what we were used to. That changed when we tried this place. We were in town for an event and decided to stop for lunch before heading home. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We had a great experience and look forward to coming back soon!
Any other time there food is awesome however this time I got egg rolls like I do every time I go and the outside was fried but a little light in color and the inside of the wonton was raw by the time I noticed I had already eaten most of it in one bite, thought about calling and just asking if they could give me a partial refund or just give me some fresh but I didn't want to get back out in this weather. Other than that this usually is a very good place , I don't think it makes it a bad place just from this one mistake but I was disappointed
China King Chinese Restaurant
Love the egg drop soup and the fried shrimp appetizer is amazing. All their food is good but not the egg rolls . They are small, hard & no taste at all
I originally had a good review listed here. Unfortunately, I've deleted that to replace it with this. China kings food has gone far down hill. The past 6 months I've visited has been consistently poor quality regarding their flavor and food consistency. Tonight, my food was dry, flavorless, slimy and just downright disappointing. I'm really upset because I used to really enjoy this place. Lately, however, it's clear they don't take pride in their product anymore. If by chance the owner reads this, PLEASE revert back to putting care and having pride in your food, once again making it delicious and flavorful, and I will gladly change my review back to 5 stars.
Hongkong Chinese Restaurant
Whoever made this Singapore Mei fun needs a raise, it's good other times too but time it was better. Nor too spicy, the noodles were perfectly cooked. This is my default Chinese food place in town.
The texture of the bean curd was phenomenal. Good service, plenty of seating. Crunchy veggies. I recommend
Hong Kong
I'm from out of town in on business and just wanted some good Chinese food. This place did not disappoint. I had special instructions with my order due to a food allergy and they were followed and even repeated back when they handed me my food. Service is great, the people are nice and the food is terrific. Can't ask for much more than that. I'd happily eat here again.
Best egg drop soup...very clean and the food was fresh and very tasty. Had the vegetarian dish. So much food, I got 2 big meals out of it. Got the chicken on a stick for my dog, as a treat. I tried one and it was fresh and crispy. Had a really good flavor..
Wok & Roll Chinese Restaurant (Noblesville)
Food is pretty good, decent value for the money. I would recommend skipping the dine-in portion however. There is a worker that always sits in the dining area and listens to something on his phone at ear piercing volumes. It is hard to carry on a casual conversation between people, and whatever he is listening to is the only thing you can hear. Very rude and unprofessional. Get the food as carry out for sure.
Used to eat here all the time when I was into this kind of Chinese food, but I've stopped eating this kind recently. But I though since I was in town, that I would try it again because....wok & roll... It was terrible, I was so hungry and just lost my appetite I'll just put up a photo of the egg roll that I was about to chow down... just never again... ever. Also I got bourbon chicken... which wasn't really bourbon chicken... it was a sad variation. Ordered delivery (door dash) received fake bourbon chicken with white rice, with an inedible egg roll, and no silverware.... NO silvrware
China Wok
This place is incredible! Their Chicken Lo Mein is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Our family always orders the Orange Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, and Fried Rice, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. The owner always greets us warmly, making every visit feel special. It’s our go-to spot, and we highly recommend it to everyone! I should’ve taken pictures before eating, but the kids were so excited and dug in right away—so this is all I managed to get. Sorry!
Dining room is a decent size. The wonton soup were outstanding. Shrimp fried rice pretty good too. Ordered General Tso's chicken with white meat. The breaded meat is stored in the refrigerator and then refried. The meat is tender though and the sauce has a good flavor. I imagine they use this same meat for dishes like sweet & sour chicken. Sauce is added after so not cooked together. If you like the traditional batter fried and cooked in the sauce, you will be disappointed. Not sure if they prepare the dark meat version in the wok or not. Decent food overall.
China King II
Sincerely the best Chinese food in the city. The food is always hot, and served in heaping portions, enough for lunch tomorrow! And the crab Rangoons are to die for 😋
Very unique spins on “traditional Chinese food” that I’m accustomed to, but the yellow fried rice isn’t bad but lacking in vegetables. The kung pao chicken pictured below had wayyy too many vegetables and not enough chicken and not enough chilies. 🌶️ Had slight spice but didn’t have that taste I’m used to. Again that’s me but also the sweet and sour chicken being separate was interesting almost like tempura chicken, looked like chicken nugget in the inside too not real white meat
Lucky Dragon
Three stars because I didn’t die—but my taste buds definitely fell into a coma. Tried Lucky Dragon last night and honestly, I think the food was seasoned with hopes and dreams instead of actual spices. The chicken had the personality of a tax form, and the fried rice tasted like it missed its calling as plain white rice’s understudy. That said, the service was fast, and I appreciated how everything arrived hot—just… flavorless. Like, impressively flavorless. I didn’t know food could actively resist seasoning. Would I eat here again? Maybe—if I ever need a palate cleanse after licking a battery. Three stars: one for effort, one for temperature, and one for giving me a new baseline for bland.
OMG. First time ordering takeout from here, and we loved it. The food was fresh, the sauce very flavorful, and the salt content was not overpowering. You could taste the good flavor, instead of a lot of salt Wish they were closer, but we will for sure get takeout from them again.
China Wok
Pretty bland for the most part. It's been about a year since I had last eaten here and it was really good then, the General Tso's was actually flavorful and a bit spicy, now it's just bland. The crab Rangoon doesn't even have a hint of crab flavor.
Best egg drop soup I have been able to find!! Though the general sous seemed more like sweet and sour chicken, not alot of spice.
Panda Chinese Restaurant
You will not find crab Rangoon anywhere like you will here! Reliable flavor, delicious recipe, absolutely know they must be handmade and fried in very fresh oil! Please try them out, and PANDA please keep up the hard work! My spicy vegetable lo mein was also fabulous, as usual! Had an array of fresh bamboo shoots, mushroom, carrot, water chestnuts, and a flavor filled sauce to accompany it. Hit the spot!
This hole in the wall take out option is one of Kokomo's hidden gems. Panda has been at this location for several decades, and the food they serve is the obvious reason behind their continued success. While dine in is an option, seating is incredibly limited, there are only four or five seats total in the establishment. However, the food is well worth your wait if you have a few moments to spare. The menu options put panda express to shame in the number of options, quantity, and quality. High marks to the atmosphere come from how a fast paced take out joint could be made to feel like you are stepping into someone's home. The employees seem to take pride in their work, they never miss the mark on an order, and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious.
El Chino Mex
Been a customer since 2012 when they were at West Washington location. Never disappoints! Great Mexican/Chinese food combination. Combination fried rice with a side of crab ragoons is my go to. Can't forget that horchata!
I usually don’t leave reviews if I do it’s because it was sooooo good they’re beef Lomein and steak tacos and they’re green and red salsa is Marbella was my waitress try them !
King Chef
Food was just as incredible as I remember! Used to eat here all the time when I lived at home with my parents in swayzee. Everything was hot and had great flavor. Order was done quickly. Worker's were kind. Store was clean
As perusal, I went in to this long time establishment and placed my order...💁🏻 I'd like to mention that over the years the establishment has changed hands several times throughout it's history, and during some of those times service and quality has suffered...⚠️...but I digress...because as of this moment in time for the past few years the establishment has been up to tippy top shape and has given me nothing but the upmost quality service and outstandingly scrumptious Chinese cuisine...😋🥡❤️💯✔️
