Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine - Plano Independence
The preserved egg and tofu was light and refreshing. The sauce was missing a little tang for me. The pork soup dumplings were mad fresh. They were soupy and the skin was thin. The golden garlic beef was very good. The pork chop on the pork chop rice was tender but not crispy like what I’m use to. It’s still very good with a 5 spice flavor. Everything was good and I’ll be back.
We enjoyed a fun get together with friends. The food was tastey. The drinks were good. Their menu doesn't label gluten free food, and they don't cater to special diets. I don't recommend eating here unless you research ahead of time. All the drinks are $10 with no happy hour. I found a manager who was able to help me navigate the items without wheat.
Taiwan Cafe
I always have an amazing dining experience at Taiwan Cafe, I go twice a month! The tomato eggs are my favorite and they were perfectly seasoned, with a balance of sweetness and savory flavors that made each bite comforting and satisfying. The fiery fish was a standout dish—spicy, bold, and packed with flavor that left me craving more. The variety of dishes offered all had their own unique twists, showcasing authentic Taiwanese flavors. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, flavorful Taiwanese cuisine!
The food here gives me the feeling of eating at a college cafeteria. They are super generous on the food so the portion you get is huge. If you dine in, there is also soup you can get it yourself. I think the soup changes daily because I have been here two times and already tasted two different types of soups. So many different dishes to choose from. One thing to note that this place is cash only. The place is big with lots of tables and seating areas. Very fast service as well.
Sichuanese Cuisine
Please don't miss out on this place. The crispy spicy chicken is AMAZING. The sesame chicken and orange chicken are equally awesome. The dumplings and their sauce....so good. Onion pancake...ate too fast to take a pic. Everything here has Great flavor.
Food tasted good and was cheap! Service not that great. Dan Dan noodles were good. family pork ribs were alright, and crispy chicken was nice and crispy! My partner really liked that chicken dish. Scallion (onion) pancakes were alright, but kinda weird, like they didn't use enough flour or something. I got takeout and ordered cold noodles and k4 steamed pork with preserved vegetable. The cold noodles were ok, not amazing. The pork was alright Cumin beef - very good and seasoned well Mongolian beef - lots of veggies and kinda lightly seasoned No one came to sit us when we walked in.
China Blue
Great interior design of Chinese style. The Zucchini & Shrimp Dumplings and Dry Pot Cauliflower tasted so delicious; highly recommended. China Blue Soup Dumplings was just fine, as the dumpling skin was quite thick and too soggy. The Fried Pork Intestine tasted good but quite pricey.
OMG, I have a wonderful and impressive birthday experience here and I love China Blue so much!!! They always provide us great food and service. I got the complimentary desserts today. The birthday candle is interesting and I could take it home. Servers were excellent. They sang birthday song for us together. Definitely I will come back!!
Chen's Restaurant
Nice place not so fancy but very nice and clean! The staff are very friendly , the moment you walk into the restaurant you can smell the food cooking and that is always a good sign that the food is fresh, and most times authentic! The portions are huge and definitely authentic Chinese food ! I ordered the boiled beef with chili sauce , and it was delicious spicy enough to enjoy it with plenty of veggies! The soup just gets a bit greasy at the end, and the beef is just poor quality beef! But I will definitely come back and try something else!
September 2024 This is one of our favorites Szechuan restaurants. Our go to dish is Kung Pao Chicken. However, we didn’t order today. The lamb and fish soup is also one of favorites dishes. Their dry pot is also very popular and delicious. We often request light spice and they are able to meet our needs. Sometime, the spiciness overpower the taste and fragrant. I recommend highly this location. The head chef is off Monday. So Monday maybe a little off. My rating as 5 is very satisfy. Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Cleanliness 4/5 we come here for good food. Attentive and courteous 4/5. Will I revisit ? Yes. We visit here at least once a month. Will I recommend? Highly recommend. December 2024 Came here 12/31. Enjoyed new dishes and truly delighted with our choices. February 2025 In search of best Kung Pao Chicken! This is one of them in Plano, TX!
DH Noodles & Grill 敦煌兰州牛肉面
We were greeted the moment we walked in, and they found us a table. We were able to see the noodles being hand pulled. There are different options for noodles, we went with thick (most popular). They recommended the lamb rib, which was good but not worth the price in my opinion. I did enjoy the Lanzhou noodle soup. The broth was perfect - not too salty, not too spicy, and flavorful at the same time. The curry noodle soup was not as good; the curry flavor was subtle.
My rating to DH Noodles & Grill 敦煌兰州牛肉面 based on my experience. 10/10 we asked them if it halal and the waiter confirmed it All their noodle dishes are served with fresh hand pulled noodles. You can actually watch them as they put on a show in the kitchen. They can make noodles from angel hair thin strands to some wide one. we choose the regular Everything include Scallion Pancakes, Noodle with sauce ( CUMIN and Chicken) , Fried Noodle with chicken. All was really good. we have been told that beef can be chewy so i did wanna risk it but other people might have different opinion. I would honestly come again to try some of the soup noddle with lamb and Chinese burger . very very small place, big portions, excellent services and amazing prices nothing in the menu is more that 14 dollars !!!!! this place has a potential to stand out to among stiff competition.>
Chasu Kitchen
Exceptional Asian Fusion cuisine! The aroma during my drive home was incredible. We shared all three bowls, and it was our first visit. I had been informed that the food was outstanding, and I'm thrilled to have taken the recommendation. We ordered the Chasu House Bowl, Bulgogi House Bowl, and Drunken Noodle Bowl. While all three were impressive, the Drunken Noodle Bowl stood out as our favorite.
YUMM. These are easily the best crab Rangoons I’ve ever had. So perfectly balanced and the the dip is tangy and delicious. The drunken noodles are tasty, fresh, and the portion is a good size too. I can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu.
The Mango's Plano
I love to visit small business with fresh cooked food. I visited this small restaurant often after busy work. They freshly prepared and cook to order my food. I believe they learn their Chinese cooking skill from a Chinese owner. Just kind and humble small business. I love they close on Sunday to rest. My rating. 5 is very satisfy. Taste 5/5 Temp 5/5 cooked to order Attentive and courteous 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 the owner swipe the floor when I arrived. Will I revisit? Yes. Will I recommend? Yes.
Cute little Chinese restaurant with some wholly delicious food! My girlfriend got the seafood combo and tofu veggie soup, both of which she absolutely adored! Meanwhile, I got the fried chicken wings (which I didn’t realize were appetizers—whoops) and they were incredible, some of the best and finest tasting chicken I’ve had to date! Absolutely do not regret stopping by here, and everything was so well priced too! Definitely coming back!
Royal Chopstix
Been coming here for a long time. Very disappointed with the customer service today. I have ordered the same dish at Royal Chopstix (this franchise location, and Farmers Branch location) never had any complaints at all before. I had placed an order for the lo mein to go and specified for egg to be added if it wasn’t included, they said it was included. I get my noodles and I don’t see a speck of egg in there. So I go back next morning to ask them if they can just remake the noodles with the box so that they can see for themselves. They insist that they added it, and that there’s not that much and that they’ve never had this complain in 20 years. I said I’ve ordered the same thing over a long time and this is my first time experiencing this too. I told them about how I ordered from other branches including one that has now shut down. They then turned it around on me saying “eggs are expensive.” I said that’s fine I would have been happy to pay to add egg but it says it’s included in the noodles on the menu. Anyway, I didn’t want to create an argument so I just said feel free to remake it or refund it whatever you guys want to do. And then I literally see them toss the same noodles I brought in to the same wok- didn’t even care enough to try to make a fresh batch. But also they probably violated health code there. Day old noodles that I had brought back tossed into the same wok that they use for everyone. The lady who has usually been pretty nice then says “you should go to the farmers branch location, it’s better for you.” That’s what I get for trying to politely ask them to uphold their own standards for food. Not coming back here and done with this restaurant. Update: I found a piece of plastic in the noodles too
12/04/24: Very nice family owned Chinese restaurant. They do a ton of business on take out orders, but I enjoyed dining in. There wasn't a lot of customers dining in, but I observed lots of customers stopping by to pick up their order. The restaurant was very clean. I sat at a table and ordered fried rice and egg drop soup. My order came out pretty quickly and my food was very hot. The rice was really good and the egg drop soup was one of the best I've had. The restaurant is easily accessible from Jupiter Road. I'm happy to to support a local business.
Lover's Egg Roll
Food was super good! We pre-ordered food to go and it was hot and ready to go when we got there. They gave huge portion sizes, I was honestly super impressed. This will be becoming our go to Asian take out spot.
Good morning. It has been a long time since I've been to lovers egg roll restaurant I decided to treat myself last night I'm so happy that I did. I'm in love chicken fried rice I get extra chicken you can't go wrong. My husband he wanted pepper steak. Like I said it's been a long time but one of the staff recognized that I haven't been there in a while I told him it has been a long time but I am going to take this opportunity to treat myself and took my meals home. Thank you for the service
Yuan Food
There was no service, and the ambiance was mediocre due to the food court setting, but the food is pretty good for the price. There was a very wide variety of yummy Chinese food to choose from, and the taste was mostly above average and pretty good for the price they charge. I ordered their cold dishes, where you can select the vegetables and meats you like, and it was very good. Highly recommended!
Fun menu- wide variety of options, including soups and noodle dishes, all cooked to order. I ordered off the pre-prepared hot menu, 3 dishes of your choice, rice, and a cup of soup for $10. Great deal. I ate all I could, and as you can see from the photos- I took home enough leftovers for about her meal. My one critique would be that the dishes (which are held in metal containers on a special steam table) were only like warm. Housed i. The food court in Tao Asian Supermarket, it was a quick easy stop while we were shopping. The people who run the restaurant spoke very little English (sadly, English is my only language) but one of the customers kindly helped answer a couple questions for me. Definitely a food court vibe and family friendly.
Bund Wok
Their food is so delicious 🤤 very fresh and tasty. I wish they are open on Sunday too. They did a very good jobs on everything. Thank you, Bund Wok. ❤️💕💗😛
September 2024 Typical American Chinese restaurant. However, I ordered from the chef recommendation. Combination fried rice was stirred fry with ham thus pick up the fragrance. Real Chinese fried rice did not use soy sauce, plainly using the heat of the wok to create aroma. The bone in chicken with ginger and scallions was pretty good as well. From tasting our order, I felt that the chef put in some effort and ensure his preparation was right.
