Saladicious !! A peaceful healthy tasty salad place. Love it.

Service is always kind, but during my last few visits, it seems like they are really skimping on the portions. I wouldn’t mind a small increase in price if it meant I could actually get a full bowl. The food is always fresh which is nice and the service is always quick.

I really loved every aspect of this place. Friendly crew, enormous space, yummy food etc.. The dosa varieties are so tasty and you can just stop eating till your tummy says so. Hope I will have the same good taste on my further visits. Worth the money I paid. Not sure how many are concerned about this, but during my last visit, I was impressed with the way they maintained their restroom.

Breakfast buffet here is amazing, every dish was authentic. Amazed by the taste of pesrattu (green mung dosa)

An amazing floating boat/conveyor belt sushi experience! The staff were so nice and checked in and interactive! All the food was delicious! Staff will sometimes make new creative dishes for you to try. Locals come in as well and the staff remember them! I highly recommend them!

Super friendly staff and atmosphere with wonderful food. Awesome option for those wanting to expand their sushi experience too as the little plates make it easy to try a variety of rolls without committing to a large portion. Everyone is very attentive, and they keep the atmosphere light and friendly.

My more 'local' favorite Chinese take out place closed around 9 months ago (Chens in Palatine) and I've been looking for a new one since - after trying a dozen+ restaurants, I think this is the winner! It's a bit of a hike from lake zurich, but so worth it for good Chinese food! (I ordered our usual favorites: sesame chicken, pork lo mein, steamed dumplings, egg roll (and one that I don't always order with my kids, hot and sour soup). I have other favorites, but those ones are the "bare minimum" of "must be great") (The Lo Mein - top right in the pic - is the one thing that I have been searching for someone else to get right since my last place closed.) I also love that for the entree, for a small upcharge, you can swap the standard included white rice for a side of fried rice, or lo mein. We rarely ate much if any of the rice, but we will eat fried rice (lo mein as well, but I usually order that as a second entree!)

One of the few Chinese food restaurants in lake county where I actually liked every dish I bought. Many restaurants in the area are only usually strong and one particular dish which sucks because if I want x I have to go to x restaurant. This is one of the few places that where everything tasted delicious!!

Host, she was nice and the food was amazing. The waitress Dajah was not so great wasn't at her best figure she was tired from a long day but turns out she seem like she didn't wanted to work or didn't wanted us as her customer. Didn't say hi or anything rude taking our drinks and food order, so we tip base on her service and it wasn't great that didn't stop her from talking to coworkers about our 25 dollars tip which I think it was realistic seem the rest of my party wanted to leave 10 because that's how rude she was. We tip based on service, not how much the bill is. Oh, and it was my 2 of my family birthday so thanks for that

Wow, I feel ripped off. $30 for “shrimp scampi & steak Diane” which was more of a mash potato mushroom soup with pieces of meat in it. The menu claimed it was 1700+ calories but I would be shocked if it was even 200. 3 pieces of shrimp & like 4 pieces of meat. It definitely wasn’t what a sane person would call a steak.

We stopped in for dinner after work on a Tuesday. I had done a search to find gumbo in the area. They have a wonderful selection of food including BBQ and seafood. The food had a definite southern and Cajun influence. The gumbo was delicious. We also had the shrimp and grits and the grouper. Everything was delicious. We sat inside, but they have outside seating available too. I highly recommend this wonderful local restaurant and I also recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend. It was packed even for a Tuesday!

Nice place. Food is very good, though the ribs tonight were reportedly somewhat tough. Plentiful and very attentive wait staff. View from the inside and patio is not interesting.....at all. Rather pricey.

Amazing customer service, the food is what I remember growing up on, old school Chicago Chinatown. You will not regret, my husband kinda likes Chinese food...he was devouring all the food. We had General Tso Chicken, Beef Kow, Shrimp & Beef Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, & fresh Tea...we had more then enough for dinner the next day. Loved it!

My first time eating here. I had the the small Mongolian beef and it was tasty but they put so much vegetables in it. They have seats and a small parking lot. I'll go back and try the other selections.

This Asian place is not too bad for the Chicago northern suburb! We came here for lunch and the price is pretty reasonable! I had the Pad See Ew with beef, it was a pretty big portion and the beef was very tender and I had plenty of noodles! It was very tasty!

Orange chicken is amazing, not too sweet!!! 😋 my husband had the garlic shrimp and crab Rangoon and was impressed 💜 I'll try the same chicken next time.

This local chop suey shop is an absolute gem! The flavors are authentic and the portions are generous. Their Shrimp fried rice is the best. It's perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor. The service is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Chinese food. You won't be disappointed! 🥡🥢 Ps. Order ahead. ONLY TAKEOUT FOR NOW,

Very good. Generous portions and also generous with the protein. We got the chicken lo mein and two egg rolls. It was 25 dollars. For “good eaters” it is plenty of food for two people. For “lite eaters”, it would be able to feed 4 people. Also, I couldn’t find a menu online so this is my gift to the Chinese food eaters in Highwood.

Good experience eating here with friends. Loved everything we had, sushi- caterpillar, dragon fire, torched dragon as shown in photos. Salt and pepper squid was ok, pad see ew was good. Lunch portion is a bit small. My teen boys were not full after the first round of order. The server is very kind and helpful. Food was served pretty fast.

Love this place!!! Our favorites are the honey walnut shrimp, the pad see eiu, and the General Tso’s chicken. Excellent quality, huge portions (each dish is enough for two or even three) and super friendly service! Don’t be deterred by the lack of reviews on here. They just told that a hacker came in and deleted all their reviews and photos. Give this place a try, it’s awesome!

Reviewing it as a seafood place. Chinn's Seafood could use some heavy improvement. Entering in, you can tell it's a hole in the wall. There's seating but it's only if you're waiting for the meal. I had the 1lb seafood order of flounder and mussels, each with a different sauce. They both came with maybe one quartered potato and two quarters of corn - there's a heavy portion of seafood which is always exciting to see, but it's quite unfortunate when the food falls short from a lack of seasoning in the food itself rather than its sauce. I wish the mussels were cooked a little longer. That would have helped pull that extra mound of meat off easier. The sauces themselves were not finger licking good either. The garlic butter sauce was weaker than Papa John's included butter sauce, if that shows anything. Some parts of the dishes were seasoned well, others not as much. For today's spice level, I had mild and medium, both of which felt the same. I guess I'll try spicy next time. Like the mussels, the flounder was about what you can expect. It felt like the fish wasn't seasoned before breading, and the expectation is that you dip the fish into the seasoned sauce to enjoy. It was strange to not see the flounder in other parts of the Chinese entrees in there as well. The broccoli was a nice touch, but it all comes down to cutting the quality of the dish by prioritizing speed. Upsetting. Edit: Also, don't bother getting their coupon from the website. You can guarantee yourself a stale set of dry, sketchy technically edible wings that were pulled out of the fridge and reheated for service like I did.

This has become our “go to” place for carry out. Some reviews here are out of date. This is not a seafood restaurant. Excellent traditional Cantonese, including shrimp, with a few Mongolian and Schezwan dishes. I do phone or online order, live nearby and leave right away, yet order is ready when I arrive or within a couple of minutes.

Legit family run Cantonese/Chinese American food. Very nostalgic. The food and atmosphere are amazing. The kind of place where they know their regulars by name. The chasiu (BBQ pork) is outstanding. The eggs rolls are the best. They took great care to make me tea while I was waiting for takeout and send me home with an extra big cup for my wife. Absolutely will be back. They even have the banquet tables with the spinning tray for large groups.

Always tasty & great portion sizes! They do an excellent job, whether you’re eating in or getting takeout.
