Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant
Such a great restaurant and chef! 👨🏻‍🍳 Highly recommend every popular dishes here. Food is flavorful and available in different spice levels as you like. Everything comes in fresh, flavorful and in good quantity. We come here at least once a month.
Don’t come here unless you want to feel like uninvited and unwanted customers! We have been coming here for years, but this will be our last time. Over the years their service and food quality has gone down. Today was the last straw! We walked in the restaurant and the owner looked at us then walked past us while completely ignoring us then picks up the phone to take online orders all while looking at us and still ignoring us. At this time, we have been waiting for at least 5-10 minutes and we decided to help ourself by asking if we can have a seat at one of the tables. Now after placing our initial order, we wanted to add one more drink. Told waitress that we would like to have one more drink. We finished our dinner and still no sign of this drink. Owner brings the final check. At this time, we were done and we didn’t want the drink. Waitress probably forgot about the drink which is fine. Before leaving we informed the owner that they forgot our drink, so they can improve their service for future. His response was that he didn’t charge us for this drink that they forgot to give us and started ignoring us again. We will not be coming back here where we feel like uninvited and unwanted customers. Hopefully you realize that you are in a service business and you learn to act and behave accordingly.
China Chef
Stopped in for lunch after not being able to go there for over a year. Was shocked by prices! Lunch specials are almost double the cost from a year ago but can't say I got double the food. $23 for 2. No drinks. Food was ok. I had Chicken chowmein. Hubby always gets #4. Portions are smaller and it no longer includes 2 bbq ribs. He was very disappointed.
a lot of the negative comments are related to price but, prices are going up everywhere! anyways this is our go to cheap chinese place. when most entrees in restaurants alone are $12, here you get entree, side of rice and an egg roll which is plenty for the same price. We got 3 lunch specials for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was more than enough. When i went in for pickup the place is def old school, i’m a sentimental sap so i found it nostalgic if anything. These pictures are from the 2 times this month we’ve gone
Zen's Noodles
First time coming to H-Mart and was mesmerized by the whole experience and was even more in shock to find out there were restaurants inside as well. I gave this place a try and ordered the Singapore spicy noodles. Don’t get me wrong the flavor was 10/10 but there were only 2 shrimps on this plate, literally the ones pictured that’s it.
Had to pick up groceries at H Mart and decided to stop by for some quick lunch. My Thai seafood noodle soup was fiyah. And my son enjoyed his beef fried rice. He said it's pretty delicate but he really enjoyed the siu Mai. Service was quick and place is alot nicer than I remember. Bathroom also clean and lots of seating. Price was decent. We enjoyed our shopping and good food today at Zen's Noodle.
Ah Yin's Chinese BBQ
The roast duck, with its skin so impossibly crisp, it shatters like glass under the slightest pressure, revealing the succulent, spice-infused meat beneath. Dipped in a sweet plum sauce, a piece of Cantonese heritage on a plate. Then comes the char siu, that iconic Cantonese barbecue pork, its edges charred to perfection, the meat tender, almost sinful in its juiciness. The marinade, a complex blend of honey, soy, and fermented tofu, clings to each slice, a sticky alchemy of Cantonese cooking. It’s sweet, savory, and utterly addictive, the kind of dish that haunts your dreams, compelling you to return. The Cantonese oil chicken, a masterpiece of simplicity. Poached in a master stock that’s a closely guarded secret, the chicken is impossibly tender, its skin silky, almost translucent. Served with a side of ginger scallion oil, it’s a dish that balances the richness of the meat with the brightness of fresh herbs, the simplest flavors are the most profound. Sitting here, chopsticks in hand, surrounded by the clatter of plates and the murmur of satisfied diners, I'm struck by the depth of flavor, the craftsmanship, and the sheer joy that is Cantonese barbecue. It's an experience, a journey through the heart of Cantonese culture, and one that I'd walk a thousand miles to taste again.
There is nothing else close to Ah Yin's Chinese BBQ here in the suburbs. The quality of their meats is high. You purchase the meats by the pound and their weighing scale is accurate, no cheating. Today I purchased my favorite - the Roast Pork. It was flavorful, the meat was moist, and the skin was crunchy. Besides the Roast Pork, I also highly recommend the BBQ Pork and the Soy Sauce Chicken. There's always a line waiting to order at Ah Yin's BBQ because it's delicious! I highly recommend trying it!
The Monk's
I ordered a Veg cheese sandwich and was told that it would take about 10 minutes but in reality I had to wait for nearly 40 minutes when I was offered this disgusting sandwich! Totally not worth the price. I will never visit this place again.
I've ordered from here.many times. So far have tried momos, Chili paneer, paneer tikka and chicken tikka burgers, hakka noodles, veg pizza, onion samosas, pastries, tea, coffee, chikoo shake and Monk's special fries. I liked all except the momos and the tea and coffee are not consistent. One time it is good then the next time it's not as good.
Panda Express
Today I tried family meal for 2 elders and 2 kids.. some of the dishes remained. Sesame Honey Breast chicken is good, Honey walnut Shrimp is good and Mushroom chicken is just ok. Cold noodles is not good so make sure you ask them for hot noodles.
Good fast food freshly made. Stopped by to get something better than the normal fast food stuff. The fried rice with beef and broccoli and orange chicken with sweet and sour chicken and super green.
Honest Naperville
Amazing Indian street-style food awaits you at this place. Whether it's the cheesy dosa, the spicy vada pav, the chole, or the delightful dabeli, this place never disappoints. Each dish captures the authentic flavors of Indian street food, making it a haven for anyone craving a taste of India. The cheesy dosa is a perfect blend of crispy dosa and melted cheese, offering a unique twist on a traditional favorite. The spicy vada pav, with its perfectly spiced potato filling and soft bun, is a true delight. The chole, rich and flavorful, pairs wonderfully with the fluffy bhature. And then there's the dabeli, a street food classic that's both sweet and savory, bursting with flavors and textures. But the culinary delights don't stop there. The Chinese bhel is also a must-try. This fusion dish combines the crunch of traditional bhel with the flavors of Chinese cuisine, resulting in a tasty and innovative snack. Service at this place is quick and efficient, ensuring that you don’t have to wait long to enjoy your meal. The staff is generally nice, adding to the pleasant dining experience. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with the delicious food and reasonable prices, makes this place a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy Indian street-style food. With its diverse menu, quick service, and friendly staff, it’s a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.
The walls were so aesthetically and visually appealing, that it made the whole meal just more appetizing than anything else. The food was absolutely delicious and needless to say, plated beautifully. Only problem was the system by which they operated their system: they have a counter, but we had to give our order in our seat? Anyway it’s not a big deal. The staff were really nice and they were very friendly. (Ordered a papdi chat)
Panda Express
My daughter was in line waiting to place her order and instead she was ignored and other people behind her had their order was taken instead of hers and when i stepped up to see that my daughter was being taken care of they told me to go in the back of the line. i was like my daughter had been waiting they just stared at me. Good Luck Chop Suey
By far the absolute worst meal I’ve had. The pad Thai noodles turned to mush as soon as a touched them. And the curry tasted like spit and baby puke. I’m literally not joking. I absolutely LOVE Asian food but holy hell this was the worst I’ve ever had. I threw 35 dollars of food in the trash and am going to eat McDonald’s. I wouldn’t even give this food the a homeless person that hadn’t eaten in days.
We have been ordering food from this restaurant for our employees every week, and today, when we opened one of entrees' cover, there was a crushed cockroach as the photo. This is not acceptable and tells me how they maintain their kitchen. We will no longer order food from this restaurant.
