Chou Lee's
Me and my family has been eating at Chow Lee over 16 years, and within the past year I had to take my food back to get it done over. I only eat pork fried rice, my family eats other dishes needless to say we always spend $65 and more. The pork fried rice never have enough meat if any at all, you may see 2 to 3 pieces on top but after that nothing. Chow Lee goes up on her prices every year and her customers have to take a hike in what we pay, by the way having black faces in the front at the register, doesn’t make it OK you’re still robbing our neighborhood blind, your charging high prices but skimping on the food. Basically my pork fried rice is basically plan fried rice what you’re doing is bad practice then you’re in our neighborhood doing this nonsense. The picture that you see below is pork fried rice that I ordered, but it looks like plain fried rice. It had maybe about four pieces of meat in there, and that was it and the meat that I was eating was basically fat. This was my last time going there the food that is served is not matching up with your prices but of course, you know that already at least your cooks do.
The egg rolls was greasy I said no beef in my lo mein the noodle was spaghetti noodles and they was overcooked. My daughter told me about this place but never again. I should’ve just drove to my favorite spot Mulan Asian 1195 Fairburn Rd suite 100 this the best food ever. This is what I get for not driving there.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
Great American food with excellent service and fast food refills. However, I had two issues: 1. Overcooked Steaks – I requested medium-rare, but all the steaks were heavily overcooked, closer to well-done and almost rock-hard. 2. Lack of Fresh Fruits – The fruit bar was disappointing, mostly consisting of canned or low-quality fruits. Unlike other locations that offer fresh options like strawberries and watermelon, this one had very little to choose from.
Love EVERYTHING about this location. Our waitress barely interacted, that's where the 2 stars fall in place. However, extraordinary experience. We shall return.
Wing Fling
Shut this shack down. I know the health department hasn't been in this place. Person in front of me ordered 80 wings, so I said they must be good. Little did I know I was going to have to wait 30 min for my 10 wing meal. Also when I asked for my money back, after 15 min. The rude heffa slammed my ticket and told me I am going to have to wait. So of course, I cursed her out! 15 min later my food was ready and I gladly "snatched" my bag and gave her a salute fitting of her behavior. The fries was hard, fried in old grease, the wings were small like they came from sickly birds. The lemon pepper tasted liked lime juice and sour kraut. This was the worst experience ever. I have my Imodium AD on standby because I know I am going to be sick. STAY AWAY...calling health department Monday morning. SMH
You get what you pay for. Wings didn’t look too good they were extremely small and fried very hard and she went too heavy on the seasoned salt for the fries. Ordered got it tasted like mild. I won’t be returning!
Chutti
Ordered food via ubereats. The portion size is big & value for money. Loved their take on serving Indian taste in a sandwich format. Will definitely be ordering again.
Ordered the fries, mango lassi, and chicken burger from ubereats. Everything was so good. Definitely recommended.
Curry Up Now
A very interesting place to dine. Indian fast food. Because the menu was so vast, my friend an i decided to order tapas style. We got the deconstructed samosa (w/ lamb), SEXY fries (W/ chicken) & tikka masala w/ paneer & kulcha naan to share. To dink we ordered the Mango Lassi and the Chai Tea. You order everything at the counter and then have a seat. The food comes out pretty quickly. Inside, the layout gives like a regular fast food place, just tables and chairs. Nothing special, nothing fancy. To me it seems like a really cool place to grab lunch or a quick dinner. As far as the food goes, everything was a certified hit!! The portions are great, prices are fair, and service is fast. I would love to come back and try another round of their selections.
Great selection of India inspired dishes. I’m still not sure what makes some dishes “street food” but what I’ve had is delicious. One orders at the counter and they bring the food to you. They even clean the table after. The dishes are tasty, but not blistering hot to accommodate westerners pallets. We had two Ghee Makhni Butter Bowls and a Tikka Masala Bowl with an assortment of Naan and Fountain drinks. Don’t be scared away with the names of dishes, the staff will guide you through to a dish that fits your pallet. Atmosphere and service is very good. Indoor and outdoor seating is available on real dishes, glass cups and metal cutlery.
Bombay Kitchen
The best part is that the food is very flavorful and generally is prepared well and comes out hot. But it’s pricy. Most items are $17.99!! I had the lamb curry and the vegetable korma and the butter chicken and the veggie Samosa and all tasted really good. Cost me $70!! I say generally prepared well because the lamb curry was extremely oily! The red oil settled on top in a thick layer and I had to pour it off in a can when I got home because it was probably a quarter inch of oil. The biggest downside is they took 35 minutes to prepare my order after I submitted it online. This is awful when you have a time Limit punch. The man who met me at the cash register when I came in told me he had a new guy who was slow. And that’s for sure. Also, inside the restaurant is really nothing great. A couple of booths and a few tables. The buffet machinery is set up there, but there’s nothing in it. Doesn’t look like they use it now even though it’s signed on the front door.
Great flavors and a wide combination of India dishes. We came in mid afternoon, so it was just a few people being served, most were take out orders. Very friendly and casual service. I had the Lamb Vindaloo and it came out great with nice flavors and just the right amount of spice (I love spicy good). My wife had vegetable samosas and rice. I know they have a great lunch buffet. Restaurant is small with a dozen tables and a textured beige/brown walls and red table cloths. The reason for the 4 verses 5 stars is the use of foam and plastic utensils for in-store dining.

As a person who considers Chinese food his favorite, I’ve searched every restaurant in the area for the best. I think this may be it. I craved their egg rolls every day and have never been disappointed with the chicken fried rice. Decent pricing too. Tried the wings once as well and remember them being ok.
Safari Restaurant
Just wanted to leave a review of this spot that I found on my lunch break. First time to the area so I wanted to try something new and flavorful. I asked the woman what was good to try. She said the goat spaghetti or chicken spaghetti which both looked amazing. Since I had a taste for rice she recommended this dish. I don’t know what it’s called but it was phenomenal! It is beef, rice, tomato, and salad. The flavor is unmatched to anything I’ve eaten in a very long time, and I’m PICKY. I would definitely give 5 stars. The sauce was spicy but in a good way. I didn’t want it to end when I finished. So good and very worth the price.
Amazing restaurant. Lots of fresh foods and the best chicken sandwich that you’ll have in your life
Madina Restaurant
Good food with a variety of options on the menu. I recommend the soft goat meat, though their food is a bit pricey, costing up to $20 per portion. Overall, it was a good place to dine 🍽
Madina Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely incredible — every dish bursts with authentic flavors and is cooked to perfection. Their mouthwatering biryanis, flavorful curries, and freshly baked naan are unforgettable. The service is top-notch; the staff is attentive, friendly, and passionate about making your dining experience exceptional. Whether you’re visiting for a casual meal or a special occasion, Madina Restaurant delivers an unforgettable culinary experience. Highly recommended
Parker's on Ponce
Anniversary dinner tonight. Really enjoyed our dining experience. We had the charcuterie board as an appetizer, which was excellent (very nice portion as well). My wife had a Greek salad. She loved it. I had the surf and turf - 6 oz filet and 3 jumbo fried shrimp. So so good! The only thing that didn’t get 5 stars is atmosphere. I think I was expecting a bit more.
Great find in the heart of Decatur. Exceptional menu selections. Outstanding Old Fashions, has become my favorite - the aroma alone is outta this world. Known for their steaks, but I really enjoyed my pork chop and greens. Our waiter, Eric, was super cordial and you could instantly tell he loved his job - outgoing and knowledgeable.
La Confianza
The kitchen is tucked away in the left corner of the supermercado and offers the usual Asada, Barbacoa, Carnitas, Chorizo, and Pollo Burritos. I came into the Taqueria wanting a Breakfast Burrito. I requested my carne to be eggs, and they made it happen. The burrito included rice, refried beans, avocado (a small amount), lettuce, tomato (a small amount), cilantro, and pickled jalapeños. It was very delicious 😋 especially with the salsa verde. La Señora said it would come with "creama", which I assumed meant sour cream, but there wasn't much of that either. And a little pricey at $10.99, but now I know a place that will work with a customer like me that strays away from the normal. 👍🏾 P.S. My initial review was after eating only half of the huge burrito (mostly rice). The 2nd half had more avocado, cream, and also some corn that I didn't notice being or tasting in the 1st half. It was maybe missing some cheese as well. The "Desayuno Tipico" ($17.99) is apparently what you should order if you want eggs. 😋
Late afternoon I had went to Chamblee to pick up some items at plaza fiesta yesterday ,on my way back saw this Mexican store called La confianza , It was my first time passing to this store driving back home tired all the way to Gainesville like an hour away , when I got home I open the bag to cook the chorizo it was all rotten and had a really bad smell , I had to throw it all away, I call the store this morning and the lady that answered the phone she did tell me that I could go exchange it , but how am I going to exchange it if I live an hour away, so people please be careful and make sure you check anything you buy before you leave , before you loose your money just like I did , unfortunately Idid not get a refund back ..:(
Sushi Avenue on the Square
fantastic taste, super friendly staff, quick and easy, welcoming atmosphere, easy to find vegetarian options - a wonderful treat!!
This place is a cute gem. Small on the inside but packs a major punch with the food and service. Every thing we ordered was delicious. The ginger dressing on the house salad tasted really fresh and I actually loved that it didn’t saturate my salad like other places serve them. It was the right ratio. Their mixed tempera was perfectly crispy without being too oily - definitely a rarity! The sushi was quite small but made sense with the price. Still very good though it definitely could’ve used more wasabi serving. Their pork ramen was the hidden gem. The broth was on thicker side which reminded me of my time in Japan. Definitely authentic and tasty. The salmon was fresh and delish. Highly recommend!!!
