From a visit back in May. Wanted to introduce a friend to Balkan food. Delicious and accessible in the suburbs. Only wish that the menu specified what sort of meat is used for the ćevapi so there is no mystery

Very delicious Albanian, Bosnian, Turkish style food ! We got them mixed grill, meat platter with bread, and it was delicious. Highly recommend the Turkish coffee also.

Best Chinese take out we have EVER had! I seriously cannot recommend their food enough. It all is just so flavorful, well made, and the portions are HUGE. They are our one and only spot for Chinese(Their sesame chicken is the bomb). They are also so nice and have great customer service. They treat you like a friend:). 12/10.

the food here is always fantastic. egg drop soup is a must for not feeling good days! young lady at the front is always very happy and kind.

Stepping into this place was like being transported to a stylish, modern take on a Polish kitchen. Each bite took me back to the flavors I remember from my grandpa’s cooking. It was comforting, authentic, and somehow familiar, but with a fresh twist. They really nailed the balance of traditional and contemporary, keeping the essence of classic Polish dishes while adding something new and exciting. If you’re looking to experience Polish food with a bit of a modern flair, this spot is perfect.

It was our first time visiting! They had an interesting take on Polish food with a modern twist so I had to go try it myself! The atmosphere was wonderful, the interior looked very beautiful. The staff were very courteous and attentive. The food was exceptional, the onion gravy sauce that came with my grilled chicken was amazing and the mashed potatoes were so smooth and creamy. It was a large amount of food that I had to take leftovers home. My partner ordered the schnitzel and he enjoyed it very much with the mushroom gravy sauce that came with it, along with the sauerkraut and the veggies with cheese on top. We would definitely come back to try more items from the menu!

My wife and I had a nice lunch at the Big Bowl! The restaurant feels upscale, yet it also is relaxed. There is a full bar, and the restaurant is deceivingly large! I will say, the restaurant lacks natural light so it feels like nighttime no matter what time you go (that isn't a big deal to me). It does make for a nice date night spot! The food was very good, and the portion for the lunch special was generous. I was very pleased with the experience and would definitely come back for dinner!

I haven’t been to Big Bowl in a long time. I must say this visit was a bit disappointing. Pros: food was hot, and there was a quick turn around time from the time we ordered until the time we received our food. The pomegranate ginger ale is still delicious. Very refreshing. If you like freshly made ginger ale, this drink is a must try. I have no complaints about service. Cons: They now charge a surcharge. It was completely unexpected. I don’t remember seeing any mention of it on the menu. I noticed it on the bill. Surcharges automatically applied to the bill is a red flag and a bad business practice. I understand rising costs, but customers bear the brunt of these costs. Transparency is key. At least apprise me ahead of time or leave space on the receipt to allow me to accept it or not. Charging it and expecting the customer to dispute it is just poor customer service. It’s not convenient for the customer. The convenience is for the restaurant, especially when people don’t bother to dispute it or ask to have it removed. Another con is the selection for the kid’s menu. My son is pescatarian. He could only order the buttered noodles. Trust me, this dish sounds better than it tastes. Literally, wet noodles no sauce. Lastly, my pad Thai was NOT good. I couldn’t taste the pasta only beansprouts. Lacking in flavor. Appetizers were decent. I went during happy hour and paid 50 bucks for one adult, 1 kid’s meal, and two appetizers. I appreciate the happy hour menu and would recommend ordering from that menu. The appetizers were better than our meals.

Great Malaysian food. I still have not found anything better in the city and I’m so glad I only live half hour from Penang Everything they do they go well from classic dishes like satay, char kway teo, as well as Hainan chicken and currys. These are the more recent dishes we had a mushroom ‘ spring roll’ which was a special for the day and very nice and different and not doggy like many fried foods. Soft shell crab really yummy. We love their mixed vegetable belancan. They have specials and their fried fish is so well deep fried you can eat almost every bone in the fish! And oh the other great thing is they are open Mondays when many other restaurants are closed ( and they close Tuesday).

The food was both very new to me and also comforting at the same time. Everything was texturally varied and had many different flavors. The gado gado was fantastic, very fresh, not overdone on the peanut. Murtabak was new to me and also really great! I will be back for more including rendang

Not meant as a dine-in location but they do have a couple small tables. The staff is extremely friendly and they remember you. Their food is reasonably priced and very good. I like no MSG on my food, and they always comply. This is one of only three places I will go anymore for oriental food. 😊

I have been a regular customer of Chopstick for the past six years. They have the BEST General Tso's chicken in the area, and I also like their crispy teriyaki chicken. The staff is very friendly, and I highly recommend you try it yourself!

Ate here for a light lunch while waiting for my son to get his hair loced. Omg so glad I came! The cucumber salad , spring rolls , & crab rangoons were fresh and amazing!! Everything was so good and the restaurant immaculately clean. I even got crab rangoons to go and almond cookies. Definitely check them out and you’ll feel as if you’re in Thailand . The ice tea was refreshing indeed!

Had the Lunch Special. The green curry chicken w/coconut milk. Great flavor. Chicken was tender. It came with like a simple tofu chicken bra soup it was okay. A little bland. I also ordered the chicken satay. The salad that came with it was really fresh and crisp and that nice flavor. Peanut sauce tastes really good that chicken had good flavor but it was a little dry and tough. The owners are still there they've been friendly for the last 12 years I've been going maybe more.

I definitely recommend the turkey club , with the soup and potato salad 9/10. But , I would not recommend the breakfast skillets!! I had to send that dish back .

The breakfast was great and lots of food. Got my coffee refreshed a few times too. We’re coming back the next time we come to the Chicago area

First off the place smells disgusting so that was enough for me but the managers over there have a lot of attitude considering they work at teriyaki madness 🤣. I also feel they are rude and a little discriminatory even though the entire place is basically ran by minorities. The younger guy working the front was visibly high so clearly they don’t pay attention to a lot over there. I was just curious where the audacity came from. Wonder how long this location will last :)

Love, love, love this place! After a long time, Teriyaki Madness has finally reopened! Long thought to be gone for good they opened just this past weekend and the food is just as good as ever. Fresh, hot and hella delicious. Can't recommend the Spicy Chicken bowl with rice n veggies enough, and be sure to try the chicken potstickers. The staff were nice and friendly and the restaurant clean and in good order. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area!

The worst thai food we have ever had and worst dining experience in general. I strongly advise to stay away from this place if you don’t want get sick or simply disappointed. We entered the place on Saturday’s afternoon and was completely empty. We were one and only clients but the servers still didn't pay attention to us. The waitress gave us a face and didn’t even asked how we liked the food. But she had no problem with asking for a tip. Silverware was dirty and gross. But still - food was the worse, absolutely disgusting. Both tofu and shrimp dishes were simply soaked in the oil or some of fatty sauce and overstuffed with soy sauce. Egg in pad thai was smelly. We are still amazed how servers can be that rude and careless. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy. Not really sure if inedible pad thai is worth almost $18. I regret that I didn’t speak to the manager.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Gumrai Thai. It is our favorite Thai restaurant and we have visited many times, usually it’s a 5 star experience. We brought out of town guests and had a party of 10. Our food took an hour to be served. Our waiter did not check on us, and we had to waive him down to refill our waters. I understand he does not control how fast the food comes out, but it would have been nice to get some updates and at least refill our waters or ask if anyone needed anything. He also told us at the end of the night as we were paying our bill that they are short staffed. Again, this is understandable but it would’ve been more helpful to tell us at the beginning so we could adjust our expectations. The restaurant appeared pretty empty but I’m guessing the kitchen was busy with take out orders. I am a patient person but a 1 hour wait with no explanation or apology is unacceptable to me. The food was good but I hope they can improve their service.

There’s Not Too Many Good Suburb Chinese Take-Out Restaurants. This One Is Actually Pretty Good As Far As Pricing && Taste. I Ordered The L-08 Sweet and Sour Chicken Lunch Special with My Rice Fried Spicy && the Sweet n’ Sour Sauce Placed On The Side. The Portions Are A Good Size For All (Chicken, Rice, && Sauce). Everything Was Fresh n’ Hot. As Far As Customer Service, The Lady Who Answered My Call && Prepared My Order Upon Arrival Was Quiet Yet Pleasant. Everything In My Order Was Correct && Prepped The Way I Requested It. As For Atmosphere, It’s Very Clean && Quiet. You Can Only Here The Clicking n’ Clacking of The Pots && Pans. There is Only Seating Available To Wait For Your Food && No Options To Dine In. Which Is Okay Because I’d Still Order From Here Again.

This is a unique Chinese carry out restaurant. They typically have large portions and are quick to prepare your meal. I used to sell at an indoor flea market, and one of the vendors told me about this place. I used to go here every weekend to get dinner on the way home. This visit, I got shrimp and lobster sauce for lunch, and it was good. Most of the time the meals are really decent. There are some consistency issues depending on who cooks, but I still recommend trying them out. They have larger portions for the lunch deals than most Chinese restaurants. They also have a decent sized menu.

Food has definitely changed. Portions are smaller and the chicken very dry almost couldn't chew. The coating was so chewy same as the egg roll could not chew it. The rice was just ok. No flavor or weird flavors. Will not go back and that's a shame be that was our go to for Chinese. Must be new owners? We threw out the small portion leftover.

We order from here at least once a week, and the lunch specials are great! The beef lo mein is delicious and big enough for 2 people. The fried rice is always a hit and the orange chicken is the best we’ve found in the area for a reasonable price.
