Golden Bowl Restaurant
I have been coming here for over 12yrs! My go to order has always been, Pan Fried Cantonese Noodles with Vegetables and Shrimp, and The Golden Bowl General fried rice. I also LOVE the egg drop soup!đ€ When you dine in you get tea in the beginning and cookies at the end. The service is always fast and friendly! It's a 10/10 for me! â
Best Chinese Dishes. đ My family like the following food which we frequently order the Fried Shrimps, Salt & Pepper smelts fish, Beef with Chinese Broccoli, Chicken fried rice, Fish fillet with Chinese broccoli, Mapo tofu, Mongolian Beef đ
Happy Elephant Thai Cuisine
I was highly disappointed at the Mango Sticky Rice. I love this dessert and eat it often, so I know how itâs supposed to taste. I was excited to try it at this restaurant. It tasted horrible. The sauce was watered down and the rice wasnât fully cooked (crunchy texture). The Pad Thai and the beef and broccoli dish were okay. The owner is very nice, but the food wasnât great. Iâve had more delicious Thai food. That will be my last time eating from this restaurant.
Second time ordering from here and man food is fire. Had the Peanut Rama Noodles this time around, my girlfriend had the Shrimp Pad Thai. Make sure you get yourself a boba tea. Personally love the taro. Food is fresh and leaves you feeling satisfied (like no food coma). The owners are super sweet. Canât wait to try the homemade pumpkin pie. Saving that for midnight snacking đ
8000 Miles Chinese + Japanese Restaurant
I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's quickly become my favorite Chinese & Japanese place to go. Food is outstanding, outdoor patio is a gem & service is always with a smile & nice servers. The black paper garlic chicken is outstanding, Rangoon & wide noodle dishes are also THE BEST. RUN don't walk to this place. Not to mention their wine pours are very generous!
Ordered doordash and I'm very happy I did. Wish I was able to go to the restaurant. But, driving a semi has it's limitations.
Teriyaki Madness
Delicius and fresh food. This is one my favourite place around oakbrook /Lombard I even noticed people from downtown also come or order here for there teriyaki menu.
Great place for Asian style bowls. Im from Cali and no place like this back home. The food taste fresh and so good. The orange chicken is a must. I ordered the salmon today! I'm excited to taste it. And Gia is awesome every time I've visit. Ill be back before I have to leave Illinois. Thank you for treating me well
Rivaj Indian Cuisine
I really loved every aspect of this place. Friendly crew, enormous space, yummy food etc.. The dosa varieties are so tasty and you can just stop eating till your tummy says so. Hope I will have the same good taste on my further visits. Worth the money I paid. Not sure how many are concerned about this, but during my last visit, I was impressed with the way they maintained their restroom.
Breakfast buffet here is amazing, every dish was authentic. Amazed by the taste of pesrattu (green mung dosa)
Poke Bros.
Saladicious !! A peaceful healthy tasty salad place. Love it.
Service is always kind, but during my last few visits, it seems like they are really skimping on the portions. I wouldnât mind a small increase in price if it meant I could actually get a full bowl. The food is always fresh which is nice and the service is always quick.
altThai
Ordered for carry out today. Food is great and what an excellent customer service. I went in to collect my order, the man at the checkout was not only super nice but also offered me some extra sauce. I love their vegetable dish and fried egg rollsđ„°
Beautiful restaurant with good service. The sausagee appetizer is very delicious, not too spicy. I ordered the Hawaiian chicken, expecting something sweet and spicy, but it was more like sweet and sour chicken. I should have known since it's not a normal Thai dish. Basil Fried Rice was very good, with many vegetables and protein. Pad Kie Mao w/ shrimp lacked flavor and not spicy (reviewed by my Thai wife). My daughter liked the Pad see ew. I asked for Thai Hot for my orders but found it to be maybe medium. I would like to give more than 3 stars, but I've had better.
Ichiban
The food was delicious, and our server Michelle was lovely and polite. When we came in, it wasn't so busy, but over time, it was slowly getting filled. The decorations are a great vibe for the restaurant. I was surprised that not only did they serve Japanese cuisine but Chinese as well.
This place is so hit or miss. One time the avocado in my sushi roll was not ripe at all, it was super hard and inedible. The last time I went there I received black rotted avocado in my Black thunder roll I had to throw it out. I'm not ordering here anymore, it's too risky.
Cilantro Taco Grill - Addison
almost didnt order because of all the bad reviews but i ordered an asada burrito with just meat cheese and beans, it was decent. the salsas are bland, will be trying again to get a taste of what else they have on the menu
First time here. Had the asada(steak burrito which is very good sized and all the ingredients are fresh daily. Great prices for what you get. Fresh salsas are out in squeeze jars for use. The medium was hot enough for me and you could tell it was made recently. They are in talks of selling franchises and I think they may do well if the can keep a handle on the quality. Good luck and thanks. They have minimal seating is the only drawback I saw.
China House
First time eating here. Ordered sesame chicken dinner and egg rolls. Good size portion and crispy the way I like it. Staff was very pleasant and order took 15 minutes. The store is take out so n/a on atmosphere. I will return to the 143rd Orland restaurant.
This is one of our favorites places for takeout Chinese food.Well worth the visit. They have one of the best shrimp lo mein around, delicious crab rangoon, and their fried rice is one of our favorites as well.
New Golden Dragon Restaurant
First time trying this place. When you sit down they offer you drinks but also tea and the tea was very good. The crab rangoons were average. The Mongolian beef was good, almost a little sweet. The green bean chicken⊠the chicken was good and the sauce was good but the green beans were over cooked and limp, no crunch how I like it. The staff were nice and overall I had a pleasant experience and would recommend trying it.
We placed an order for take out. When we unpacked the food, we realized that one of 3 main course dishes was missing and the other one was the wrong item. I called the restaurant right away, explained the situation and politely asked for refund. Instead I was told that since we paid with a credit card, they canât give us the credit back since âtheir system doesnât allow itâ. I said I would be ok with either cash or check refund, but was refused by 3 people including the manager that I spoke to. We understand that mistakes happen, but refusing a refund for wrong and missing food was totally unacceptable!
Maharaj Indian Grill
Service was thoughtful and impeccable. Milton our waiter was great! Food was fresh and tasty. We had the Maharaj grill for 2 at such a reasonable price. Rogan Josh and Dal were great texture wise, just needed a bit more depth to the flavor. The tandoori chicken and tikka fish and chicken were average but fresh.
It was okay. My expectations might have been high, but the Tikka Masala tasted like tomato soup, and the "Naan Basket" that our waiter basically forced us to order was not good. We wanted garlic naan. Not stuffed or unlevened naan. The butter chicken tasted like overly sweet bolognese sauce, and the chicken had dark meat, which I am not used to, and that was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. The chicken Tikka was fatty and had tendons. The only thing that was good was the biryani. The whole experience was just a bit disappointing.
