I got the Dan Dan Noodles with pork and added beef and a lamb skewer. I had hot tea due to a sore throat The food was ok. Not the best. I personally think it was just the choice i made. I wanted to try the Biang Biang Noodle since it had great reviews but i couldnt wrap my mind around tomato and egg with my noodles Great atmosphere. Great, attentive servers The beef was very tender but also very fatty

I was taken back to my college days in China, eating lamb skewers and baked flat bread at a street food stall. This is high praise, since I remember the time fondly. Cumin lamb skewers are pictured, and were delicious. The cumin lamb flatbread 孜然羊肉夹摸, was what really took me back. If in Chicago it’s a must try.

All their hamburger and hot dogs and polish are pre made, as in cooked already before you even step inside.. that means it's not fresh to order so how do we know as consumers when that burger patty was cooked? The polish was hard to chew and funny I came in and boom with in 2 min I was out the door. Smh won't be back nor do I recommend . Oh and the fries where white no color nor where they crispy and when I stepped in, they were cooking about 40 pork chops that means when somebody orders, their pork chop, it will already be pre-cooked and very tough and chewy because that’s what happens when you let meat sit and overcook in a hot pan

Amazing!!!! Best burger everr fries are on point too… super cheap prices!!!!

I was really looking forward to my online order of fried rice, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The rice itself was burnt and had a distinct burnt taste that overwhelmed any other flavors. It was a shame, as I've had good experiences with this restaurant in the past. Watch out when ordering online. They don't seem to mind what they send out.

It is a great restaurant... the service was very attentive to the timing of the meal. The menu has great choices for a wide range of diners. I had butter chicken, and we also tried the tempura-fried green tomatoes. Great flavor in both dishes I would come back.

I got the monkey fries from here that were mad flavorful. Made with ground beef, and cheese with this mayo-based sauce over seasoned fries. 8.8. I also got this decent duck gumbo too. The broth lacked flavor kinda bland but wasn't terrible thou. 7.9. Overall I like the setup and this place has some interesting items on the menu worth checking out. 8.5.

I was so satisfied with this place, I HAD to run it back the next day. Day 1 I had Bacos. The pork one was nothing special. The shrimp was probably my fav. I enjoyed the corn salsa that came on it. The duck baco was delicious as well. I could probably eat these everyday. Day 2- I ordered the duck and shrimp bacos. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Anyway, I wanted to try something different so I ordered the gumbo with duck and added shrimp for an extra charge. Now the gumbo was tasty, however, I would not call it a gumbo because it did not have okra. The word “gumbo” literally means okra. Also, it was a little too thin for me. I know I’m nitpicking, but it is what it is. Would I ordered again? Yes, and that’s all that matters.

My first time eating here. The customer service was good. The guy was pleasant and even made small talk while I placed my order. I ordered a small shrimp and broccoli, egg rolls, and a small shrimp lo mein

Food is fair and convenient but the customer service sucks I tried ordering over the phone and both the man and woman I spoke with were very rude

The food is a bit pricey but when u see what you get you will be pleased,I grabbed the Sunday Dinner and Chinese new year, bag was heavy upon pickup,I immediately felt I got my money worth all was left was to taste and it did not disappoint....I would probably add gravy to the dinner but it wasn't a deal breaker. I was able to eat off this plate 3 times it was flavourful (don't forget to purchase cranberry sauce) I tasted my bf plate Chinese year and I love it for the simple fact it was a more healthy option...rice veggies and shrimp. Also GrubHub wouldn't let me order and it was within business hours but I was able to call and place and order with no problem . If you're thinking of giving them a try DO IT ‼️S/N parking isn't the best so I would suggest just park on 79 at the corner and walk the very short distance to the door as it's located on a residential block that is usually always pretty full

The location is okay, located on a side street. It's hard to find parking. I would recommend placing orders ahead of time. The food was great. The Sunday dinner could've used some gravy. And the more teriyaki sauce on the other meal.

Tony's Kitchen is the house on the block that everyone goes to hang out and eat comfort food. This hidden gem on the corner serves up some great tasting meals. The menu is typical of greasy spoon without being "greasy". The staff treats you like visiting your grandparents without the attitude or awkwardness. Service and temps are on point. Ordered Heuvos and Jamon and an egg sandwich to go. The sides and toast were toasted perfectly and the eggs overeasy. The prices at Tony's Kitchen are a third of what you would pay at MDW. Warning, the coffee is strong and will put hair on your chest. Tony's Kitchen deserves a well earned five stars.

The food here is delicious and fresh! A bonus is how nice the owner is, he is very genuinely caring about clients and loves ti strike up conversation to get ti know his customers. I love that such a great place exists so close to home!

This was hard to review. I wanted to like this place, but the fixtures were heavy with dust. The rim of the cups were all chipped, and the plate was cracked. There was what looked like a hair in the crab Rangoon. The sauce for the crab rangoon was off, too, and not what is normally served. The waiter seemed uninterested in taking our order. The food was served warm, not hot. I was told there was no tea. Price was good, tho.

Late night Chinese food spot. Really good food, small wait time but well worth it. Service is great every time we are seated. Everything is made fresh in house. Highly recommend.

Recently, I tried a variety of dishes from the Asian menu here, and they were all delicious. The cocktails, in particular, stood out for their quality and reasonable pricing. The atmosphere in the central dining room was enjoyable, but the sections near the entrance and the windows left much to be desired. The area by the windows lacks coziness and borders the kitchen, where there’s a constant view of staff bringing in and out dishes, which detracts from the ambiance. The service was hit-or-miss—some of the waitstaff and seemed a bit grumpy, which was unexpected. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chicago with stunning views of the skyline. While there are definite highlights here, like the food and location, the overall impression could be improved with a few adjustments to service and the interior layout.

This was my 2nd experience here. First time trying Dim Sum. The prices were absolutely amazing and you can really taste a lot with the portion sizes. Add in the Happy Hour discount and you feel like you are robbing them. Simple and direct service - the pork belly was absolutely amazing

Dim Sum dinner fun with friends and family in a cool atmosphere with a variety of food choices to please our whole crowd from tried and true traditional dishes to bold new discoveries. The place was packed but service was quick and our food and drinks were tasty and would definitely go back again for another fun experience.

We arrived on a Sunday night, and we had a 30-minute wait with no reservations. The customer service was good even with a slight language barrier. It's a nice traditional spot with a sprinkle of cute Asian influences throughout the restaurant. I ordered the fried noodles and the pork bun. I wasn't a big fan of the pork bun, but I did enjoy the main dish. The portion size is huge and enough to feed 3. It was full of beef and fresh veggies. It actually tasted better the next day. The flavors didn't really activate until it sat in the fridge for a bit. It was the same situation with my friends' veggie fried rice. It lacked flavor on day 1, but on day 2, it was a winner dish.

Hands down the Best! Chinese Food Spot in Chicago highly Recommend if you haven’t tried

I’m not a fan of this place because I had the shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg fu young and it was very fishy and ended up with food poisoning. They were once so so but now a NO NO restaurant. I hope they get better with their seafood and buy fresh.
